I had massive hair loss after having my baby, it started around 3 months post partum and then stopped at around 9 months. I lost half my hair it felt like. Its so thin i have to wear it up all the time still, but it is growing back through now so I have this strange fringe growing in like baby hair! My dd is now 18 months and my hair has just started falling at an alarming rate again, so I've no idea why this time. It comes out in clumps when I wash it. again! I read online maybe to have thyroid checked as this can cause it. Not sure water can cause such dramatic hair-loss. The gyno i saw post-partrum said its almost always hormonal or stress related for women...my mum is having it too at the moment but shes putting it down the menopause. Though she did just move to Dubai 3 months ago, so maybe it is something about living here...!?

we stayed here last year for a couple of weeks when we had to go to uk, its in a lovely village and surrounded by fields and farms in lincolnshire. down the road in the next village there are two pubs and shops that are walking distance. it was good for us as we have family in Lincoln so it was close by. depends what area you are looking for really. http://www.cammeringham-estate.co.uk/

we looked into this recently for my husbands business, he was only looking for short term. i spoke to emaar re. having a space in at the Town Centre (Springs) - they said it was 3,500 aed for one day. I think it was 14,000 aed for a week, and then something like 30,000 for the month. i think this goes for any of emaars shopping areas (arabian ranches etc). i think you would need to have a trade license to be safe.

I do weight watchers online (uk site) its really good and easy to stick to, and you lose about 1-2 pounds a week if you stick to it. Its 10 GBP a month. And there is an iphone app that is helpful too if out and about. The hardest thing I find is drinking on it, I have to save all my points up to have a few glasses of wine at the weekend...!

I think mixing is good way to introduce, as the taste is quite different for them to get used to. I did that at around 3 months, started with sma cartons and just did half and half for a while, my daughter was fine with it. Once she was fully on formula I started using the powder formula as its cheaper than the cartons and they drink more and more as they get older. But the cartons last 24 hours in the fridge and are good if you are just introducing a few oz/ml here and there. Aptimel do cartons too from birth. Good luck...! : )

My dad is a carpenter who builds and sells bespoke garden items for children (solid wood playhouses, table sets and sandboxes). He actually made one off these for my DD who is 18 months old, as same as you I could not find one that went on the ground and was not ugly and plastic, and also with a lid (as we have a cat and i didnt want it to end up as a litter box!) Let me know if you want him to give you a quote (he makes all items to order).

I went a couple of weeks ago to put my daughters name on the list for 2015 at Jebel Ali Primary school. My DD is 18 months old. I though I was doing well as they don't start at JAPS until age 4, but she is still below number 200 on the list! If you really want a certain school then you can't start too soon...(some schools however don't open their waiting lists until the year before, so that helps. I know Dubai British School in Springs do this...)

This stuff isn't like pellets it's a soil sort of texture. Not sure if its treated or not, info on bag is mostly Arabic. I hope it is treated at least- but there's still no way I'd ever let them use it. It's just gross and still absolutely stinks!

This week I questioned my gardener (Springs 12) about the fertiliser he puts on my garden as it seemed to really stink worse than I am used to, and also didn't seem to wash away/sink in very easy (funny texture)...once pushed he admitted that it is actually human waste! He seemed to think this is normal and said that cow fertiliser is more expensive...! Just wanted to know if anyone else is aware of this?? It comes in a brown paper bag and when I looked at it it actually says 'Sewage Plant' on it...! I have an 18 month old daughter who plays in the garden every day...! Eww
