Gas station ( I always said petrol station at home) I detest "Tell me" I detest even more " Tell me dear" Or Mam/Siiiir when you are stood in front of them! The reply to that is "Do i LOOK like A MAN?" I just do it back to them

Also; you do know that you are breaking the law if you are working without labour card (if on DH visa). Or without visa approval which they should of got before she went in for a trial run I wouldnt trust any company that does this or decide to change hours and salaries

Green coverup will take some of the colour out of it. Clinique do a green tinted moisturiser and a coverstick (not seen the coverstick here thou). I believe that boots do one too. And yellow coverup helps too

Since potty training 3 months ago DS 2.5 years has struggled with constipation every few days. It's very painful and he is in serious discomfort for about 10mins, breaking into a sweat from the effort usually. The stools are quite big. I didn't do anything initially as u read somewhere this usually happens with potty training. Any advice as to what to do? Paed told me he needs a laxative as this could lead to lifelong problems re fear of pain but I'm not sure I want to give him laxatives. Any ideas? Thanks in advance Suppositories are the best and although it isnt nice inserting them in that area they are effective and work quickly Glycerin ones are very natural and inexpensive. Fybogel is also good however good luck getting he/she to drink that as it sets very quickly ( a bit like jelly) Try the natural lazatives first, Senokot used to do a syrup, Lactulose i am not sure is for toddlers. I wouldnt keep relying on lazatives though as they can cause long term damage. May i ask what your sons diet is like? Fresh orange used to help children too.

Xmasbaby, you mentioned in your post that you linked your mum's kindle to yours in order to share books. Can you tell me how you did this?? Would love to be sharing some Kindle books with my friends. Thanks. I bought my mum for xmas last year and it was the best thing ever! I was worried that she wouldn't make the switch but about 10 pages into the kindle book she was a convert. Its bright enough without tiring the eyes, and the font size is adjustable. I also bought the case, so that she could hold it like a book/lie down and read etc. To help with the transition, I linked her kindle with mine and downloaded a few books for her so that it was ready to go right away. I then showed her how to use it as by the time she was done the books she was a convert and was eager to learn. Since its linked to my account, whenever she downloads, I pay for it but then we're able to share the books as you can send books to up to 10 kindles if linked. She normally downloads the free books from starting up authors and sometimes I get messages where she's now downloaded 10-20 books a pop for not a cent. It was the best gift ever! Sorry to butt in but i have just done this today Plug your Kindle into your friends computer or laptop It will open up a page which says open to view files Open the documents file Copy all the files and paste to a new folder ( mark it kindle downloads) She can then plug her kindle in and paste to her Kindle documents Vice Versa for your friends Kindle I hope this makes sense The only problem i found was that i couldnt copy Amazon downloads to other people's Kindles only files i had been sent in Mobi/Epub and PDF

I am surprised KP is on so late on a school nite for the teenagers too I'm guessing it's because it's not a stand alone event so they have to work in with the event schedule as a whole. I'd love to take my six year old, she's a bit of a night owl but still not sure how she would go! I would of put them on the other way round to be honest. Usher is a bit tame here ( Has to be) although his lyrics are slightly suggestive. He was amazing live

Some of circuit factories adverts can be a bit shocking, but the results you get are shockingly good, I have lost over two stone in just under three months, follow what they tell you and you will lose weight and inches! umm but some people put ethics first :) Suppose it depends if you want a gym that is "politically" correct or one who does what they claim to do.... get results :) And guess their adverts are working as people know who they are. Yep cos the Holocoust is a great marketing tool lol Would rather be fat then give my hard earned cash to a company that thinks using something that horrific is acceptable. Me too!!!

If you have the IMIE number for your phone then you can lodge it at the police station. They will inform Etisalat, and then if anyone tries to use that phone with any sim card in this country it will get flagged at Etisalat and they will inform the police of location and sim card owner details. IMEI cant trace the location of your phone.

Wow DR, you are the first person I've heard of that hates their Kindle! I love mine, so does my 76 yr old neighbour, 15 yr old niece and friends of all ages. I have the 3G keyboard version so it connects even if wifi is not available (like mobile phone networks I suppose) I find it very easy to use. I have an Amazon account for buying books. You only need to be connected to browse Kindle Store and buy books, once your books are downloaded turn wifi off and the battery will last at least a month. I agree with DR they look pretty boring but there are LOTS of skins and covers for them. Hiccup, everyone around me loves there kindle and they've all been very patient with me since I got mine and started feeling murderous towards it. I can do the bit where you switch it on and buy the book, I can even start reading the book but a few pages into that ugly grey colour of screen is putting me right off what I'm reading. It makes everything I'm reading - dull dull dull. Then there's the holding of the thing in good reading position - it just doesnt work for me. If my neck is comfy, my hands and fingers arent and vice versa. Im a book lover and for me that means being able to hold a book, and not something the size of a bar of chocolate, it just doesn't feel right, in my mind its not a book. I just really cant get my head around a kindle. Oh and I know they're easy to carry around with you - but whats a big handbag for if its not for carrying around a big book. I get so angry with myself about this at times, that and the Iphone kind of things that I cant get my head around either. :D edited by DesertRose1958 on 26/11/2012 I still love books but am a Kindle convert. I can understand where you are coming from DR

You'll definitely see a good bit of fancy dress, but most people wear pretty casual clothes. I usually go for a pair of shorts and a tank/shawl, or even a casual sundress. I think this year I may dress up a bit more than usual, but in more of a fun than smart way. I really don't ever recall thinking the dress for the Sevens was "smart". To be honest, I find it's rather messy, at least once everyone crams into the stadium at the end of the night, and I wouldn't want to wear anything nice there. Sevens isnt smart lol We are all in fancy dress should be a great day

Roots sell them in Barsha, they would cost a fortune to ship as they are very heavy The salons in Marina Mall have them in the window (only seen small bottles though) Is Roots selling the big bottles? Are you having a price idea? apparently the salons are only allowed to sell the normal sized bottles and not the huge ones. No idea sorry best to call in and ask
