i wasa big fan of microderma in the uk, not so much here as not everywhere has the really up to date equipment (diamond tipped wand thing). i've recently moved onto glycolic peels - amazing! completely sorted out my very dry temperamental skin. you literally glow afterwards. really quick, takes about ten mins, i go to a wonderful lady who has her own clinic. 300 dh per peel. i go once a month. you can wear make up immediately afterwards, you do need to stay out of the sun/use factor 100, but i do this on my face anwway. if you pop up your details i will happily send you her contacts. Does a glycolic peel even out the skin tone? If so would like for you to send me contacts too :) leeleedxb at yahoo dot com

I have two at the moment and just found out I am expecting twins! Pretty daunting considering my other two are toddlers!!!! We were going to stop at 3 - but obviously we got a little more than we bargained for...... Oh WOW, congratulations!!! I have 2 toddlers and expecting another one in November. If it were twins, OMG I don't know what my reaction would be. I think I'll freak out.

If she hasn't taken her vacation for the year, then her previous employer would have to pay for it. You cover the cost when her contract is finished or she's completed a year with you. <em>edited by LuLee on 24/05/2011</em>

I was going to buy one last weekend. There are so many different shapes and sizes so I decided not to until I measure up the green patch we have in the garden. OSN programme information states that Wednesdays show is the Final two perform and Thursday is Final Results. I guess Wednesday is only an hour as only 2 contestants left. Excited!! That could be what noddy heard. I've just re-read what I wrote and idiot me how can Thursday be the finale with the results lool. Ok so will have to remind myself to watch it on Wednesday. I can't wait :)

I am now getting really confused :-) I always watch it on Thursday when they do their performances then the next night there is the results show, 2 different shows. In the final week it is the same, there is the performances then the results the next night so is it Wed and Thursday this week instead of Thurs and Friday? Lu lee if the finale is on Thursday then when is the results? Am so sad this is stressing me out!! They've always had re-runs from the previous week on Wednesday at 9pm. Then they had the performance show on Thursday for 2 hours. Then the results on Friday. The schedule on OSN website shows 1 hour show on Wednesday. I'm assuming that's a re-run from previous week and Thursday is the finale with the results? It doesn't show American Idol is running on Friday. Please don't take my word for it.

Is it not normally Thursday the performance and Friday the results though so it has changed to Wed, Thurs? I think re-runs from last week are on Wednesday and the finale on Thursday. Nothing for Friday? I could be wrong.

I was just looking at the OSN schedule and it's a 1 hour show on Wednesday and a 2 hour show on Thursday so nothing has changed.

Almost daily - together 9 years so not as much as some on the board but not newbies either... What I really like is its usually specific - like " oh your hair looks gorgous today" or "that dress brings out your eyes!" and the icing on the cake - he said to me the other day - "you know even in the morning with no make up on you look beautiful - makeup only enhances whats already there" - as I was fussing to get ready (put make up on) to go grocery shopping... Aww that's so sweet. Lucky you :)

I've been there many times but never seem to find the stores I've visited before. There's a really nice toy shop that has lots of wooden pieces but I keep forgetting which section it's in. I should've wrote it down. Like others have said, if you find something you like, you will surely find it in another store nearby so bargain the price and check the other stores. There are 3 jewelry stores that I love with crystal rings and necklaces that sparkle and head pieces too but each time I go I'm searching up and down for them. Aaaargh it's a good workout though. Wear comfortable shoes.

I've been going to Gina at L'Esprit in Jumeira Behind the Pink Plaza Mall 04-3444047 and have had great results on my upper lip and I also did my underarms three times and now only touch up once a year! She was recommended to me by another friend who did full legs and bikini (OUCH!!) and says she's had great results. good luck. OMG bikini. How do they cope with the pain? I only get my upper lip and sides of my face and I literally cringe my teeth and scrunch up my toes and fingers. It hurts so much. I have a big problem with ingrown hairs on my legs. Would love to do my legs and bikini but not sure if it's worth the pain. And then it's a huge area unlike my face, I don't think I'll have any teeth left when I'm done with my legs.

I have the vileda mop and bucket so you don't actually have to wring it with your hands. But my maid doesn't squeeze it out enough because the floors are still wet after 20 minutes. I have 2 small children so they are always running around slipping, my son even banged his head a couple times on the floor. I have told her many times to squeeze it harder but she just doesn't get it.

DH used to work for a multinational company same position with 10+ years experience but because he has a non-western passport he was earning 15K. It's really really sad how they discriminate here because of the passport you are holding. But most likely you will be earning more. Fortunately he's not working for that company anymore and he's in a much better position :)

Hi I have a 3 yr old DD and 1 yr old DS and no.3 is due well I have 2 different dates one is Nov 10 and the other is Nov 12 (2 different docs, no period before pregnancy due to BF) but I am hoping for 11-11-11 baby lool. Crossing fingers.

I think this pace looks wonderful. I haven't gone, but we are booking in December. http://www.mara-enkipai.com/ We stayed at Oloshaiki Camp and it was absolutely beautiful. We can't fault anything about our whole stay. Lovely camp, staff, food was awesome. You can leave your lodge and drink coffee/tea and watch the gazelles, giraffes, zebras across the Talek River. The driver was very knowledgeable, knew the area quite well. Lovely camp. When the kids are older, we'll definitely stay there again :)

Oh wow that's nice of them, many don't get that included in their packages. In our household 2 parents/2 kids I would say 2000 aed a month. I do one BIG shop in a month that's around 1000aed then in the week, I would buy what's needed (fruits, vegs, bread and milk).

It's funny I got a message from a friend who told me before you do the deed, you fill the tub with warm water enough for your bottom to be covered and if you want a boy you add 1 cup of baking soda and sit in it for 15 minutes. Then go do the deed. If you want a girl, you add vinegar instead. I've never tried it but she said it worked for 90% of the people she knew who did it. I'm sure this is some old wives' tales.
