I booked Marhaba about a year ago to meet my mother who was traveling alone and needed a wheelchair (even though she CAN walk it means a weeks rest to get swelling out of her legs). They did not show up! Her English is not good enough for her to find out about why no one is there to meet her so she walked through the airport and managed through security and she was in bed for her first week. After a few emails (and calls that were not picked up) they finally apologized, said there was a mix up and then finally refunded after trying to get me to use the money on her departure. I will never use them and do not recommend them.

No I didn't get a 12 month notice. I have just been told that those are my rights but the owner told us we had to move out and had us sign some document that we would vacate the house no later than a specific date which gave us 3 month notice. (that is exactly the rules in my home country so i didn't think of it when signing the papers)

Motor City thanks. I'll check that out. Office is in Abu Dhabi but as long as there is easy access to Emirates Road or Sheikh Zayed road we're willing to keep an open mind with location (but want to stay in Dubai). Is it better to drive around the neighborhoods to see if there are "for rent" signs, maybe enter some buildings and ask if anything is available or is dubizzle the way to go? (sorry to sound stupid, we just didn't plan on moving anywhere so my mind is a bit blank)

Hi, We have lived in JVT for a year now and love the area, everyone on our street has kids so play out together. We are in a 2 bed townhouse as they are easily converted into a 3 bed (5000aed) and the kitchens are much bigger than the independant villas. Also in the TH you have a utility roon that the independant doesnt have. Im pretty sure the TH are 300sqft bigger. Our DEWA is 700aed/month including housing tax as we have a resonable size garden and have only just started using the AC again since Novenmer. In summer was around 1500aed Hi and thanks... That DEWA bill is a lot less than what were paying at the moment :) Do the TH's have a maids room?

My DD has a bad excema, has been to the doc so many times and walked out with so many different lotions, pills etc. Does anyone know of a good pediatric allergy doctor in Dubai who specializes in excema and allergies? Thanks
