Yes they should provide a list and I've been hounding them for it, they are extremely slow to provide a list other than the general list of clinics, which they have sent me 3 times already! I will check Dubai london clinic, thank you!

Hi, Not sure what you mean by direct billing but I went to a physio clinic in JLT called American Rehab Center and they were excellent. Ask for a lady named Priji. Hi, direct billing means my insurance covers the cost directly, so I don't have to pay and claim.

Is it too late to ask the seller to mark it as a gift? I do this for everything.

I tried to order on online from Sephora recently, I had the same issue. Their customer service was truly awful, they didn't even bother to inform me that my order was cancelled until I followed up with them. It took weeks to get a refund and so many generic customer service emails when I was trying to get some information. First off they said my address was in use by some else, they it was a security issue, then they couldn't deliver to a forwarding service for 'quality purposes', then they were apparently targeted for a bulk buy resale and scam (I ordered 4 things all different!) and a few other stupid excuses! Awful awful company to deal with. I ended up ordering from skinstore.com and had no issues, they had 3 out of the 4 things I was looking for and the service was good. No issues using using my shop and ship account. I have just looked on their site ( Thanks for the tip) Did you manage to get liquid items through to here as they have things I want that are really expensive here :) Yep, all 3 things I ordered were liquid, one was a facial oil which was I wasn't sure would get through, no issues at all!

It depends on what kind of cycling your husband is into. If he's starting out a racer from decathlon is a good place to start. They start at about 1500/1800aed. If he's more experienced he would probably be better off if he goes with you and gets the bike fitted. Personally I find Wolfi's snobbish for beginners, not particularly helpful and expensive. The ride shop in mirdif is very good as is the one on SZR friendly staff and they often have good sales. He could possibly get a decent giant bike for around 3k-5k. The cycle hub is also supposed to be excellent. Those bikes on dubizzle tend to be road bikes which are good for utility cycling but not great for speed. If he wants to get out on the track he will quickly be looking for an upgrade. Best of luck!

Best to replace the tube, of you bought the bike here it will be easier to get the right tube in the shop where you bought it. There are lots of bike shops but they might not stock the right tube for your tyres. Repairs are really only to get you home and won't last too long in this heat. Edit: A replacement tube should cost about 20dhs

My GP recommended City. I have used medcare and lifeline, both horrible experiences. Both times I was extremely unwell and was taken to the nearest place. God forbid I need to go again I will go to City.

I suggest using shop and ship unless they are sending via courier. The handiest thing to do is probably contact the seller directly tell them what you want to order etc.. I've done it a few times but always got things delivered to shop and ship.

While I do agree that honest is the best policy, two weeks is extremely early in the pregnancy. In my opinion and I don't want to sound negative but I wouldn't be telling anyone at this stage as you have no idea how things will go. I would be more inclined to wait until you know the pregnancy is safe and in that case tell them asap. I wish you well on both fronts.

We went to a hotel on the beach in RAK a few weeks ago and it was lovely. There was a nice breeze on the beach. It was lovely! I don't know what it would be like further in but we went to Qasr al Sarab in August last year and even though it was hot it was still amazing. I'm sure it would be fine. Enjoy!

There is a supplier in DIP near the Marriott hotel and I think one in Deira. They all work together so no real difference between what they supply etc... I know they offer workshops as well. I have used it, it is pretty easy, lots of online tutorials, I haven't done a work shop. Its kind of addictive when you start, you want to paint everything!

Not a coffee aficionado but, I like my nesspresso. I like how easy it easy to use and has different strengths and flavours. I don't know how easy a bean to cup machine is to use in comparison. Forgot to add I bought it on Dubizzle, it was practically new and half the price.

Also available through Pretty Paper Studio (http://ppsuae.com) ;) Sold out! would have been so handy! Paperlane only has the cameo which is too pricey for me. I think I may hold my horses and buy on amazon! Thanks ladies!

You can buy it here at the craft/scrapbooking store at Town Centre, I think its called Paper Lane. I bought mine from Amazon and had it shipped, worked out cheaper even with shipping. Thank you! Will check it out, in a bit of a rush, last minute project and this would be ideal.

Easier and cheaper to buy them online from brands you know. I always like the look of Gap then I try them on and sizes/shapes are all over the place. Anything I have managed to get to fit has been very good though. Sun & sands behind the gold & diamond park can be good they have lots of sports gear but they sometimes have good casual gear from north face and columbia etc. which won't be see through. I bought a lovely jumper with those slits up the side thinking this will be lovely with a nice bright top under neath.... its not its weird, will be taking it satwa to get it sown up  At this stage im starting to think i should buy a sowing machine and get lessons from my mother!! All these skills I swore I would never need! :(

They now need to scan your emirates id, they have a little card scanner, so the paper work/application won't work.

To drive on your current licence you would need a visit which you won't have, you can't drive until you have a UAE licence once you have a residents visa. Just been through this with new staff member and his wife. Not happy campers!

Following! Been looking for these for ages. Want something we can give our international staff a 'money card' they can spend anywhere! I couldn't find anything that didn't require mounts of id etc... which defeats the purpose of being able give them as a reward ad hoc.

I have friends that have been living there for 2 years, they love it. There is a small shopping centre open now with Geant and a few other shops. Easy access from SZR now that the tunnel is open. The only thing is its like a maze there, as there are no signs, once you get used to it its fine, but visitors, taxi's etc.struggle a little.

Its most likely that company policy is to follow the labour law, so there is probably very little you can do other than look up the labour law and see what that says about your situation. Have they refused to show you where the company policy is? If they operate a quality management system as per ISO 9001 it should be available to all staff, this is not a legal requirement though. As with anything here its best to get a clear written answers before you doing anything, do not accept verbal confirmation that you can do anything, always confirm by email until you get to know how your company works. I got my first one and renewed at the airport it only took 10 mins both times. Just give yourself a little extra time and it should be fine! edited by mannikat on 11/05/2015 Unfortunately I don't think the Egate place is open at 'stupid o'clock' in the morning :( I got my first one at stupid o'clock (pre 2am flight) in T1. This says 24hrs but not sure that is still the case, might just be til 10pm, try calling them you never know! safe travels! http://www.dubaifaqs.com/e-gate-card.php

Why do you need to transfer it? Once your UAE visa is valid and the licence is still in date it is valid. As per our PRO. We recently had to check for a new employee, he would have only needed a new one if he wanted to change the licence type.

Agree with GE, I bought my car on dubizzle 3 years ago no issues. Just get it checked out at garage before you buy. Lots and lots of furniture on Dubizzle, also second hand dubai on facebook is quiet good. There is also cash converters on SZR which is handy but more expensive than dudizzle.

It shows up as having a low trust rating on scamadvisor.com, I had looked at this site but ended up going with giftbag.ae instead(high trust rating). It arrived the next day and its genuine. if they have the perfume you are looking for I would recommend them.

I don't fully understand your issue. Is the account blocked because you are no longer a resident? If it is blocked for this reason I think you will need to find out what you need to do to unblock it, you may need to open a new non resident account. It could be blocked as they may need to update your address identification, in which case you could possibly provide two forms of photo id (passport & driving licence are best and two forms of address id for the country where the account is located (if you have them should be no more than 6months old) by fax or email. This may or may not be sufficient but it used to be accepted when someone could not attend the branch themselves. Account security, data protection and compliance have become very strict in order to prevent fraud and money laundering. In any case it would be highly unlikely a letter from you would allow your mother to withdraw from the account, she would need to be named on the account, and you would need to be there to sign her on to the account. A POA might work but you would be better off checking with the bank first and seeing if the will accept it. Best to call them and get some options on how to resolve the issue from them. Good luck getting it resolved x

You should really go to a Dr before starting a new pill. There isn't a huge selection here and while you can get them over the counter, its not the best idea for your health or for adequate contraception.
