Thanks preethihappy, we have been in contact with bareface so let's see if we hear anything. I will also try the others you mention. She's extremely keen to get into this, so fingers crossed! Thanks for your help.

Can anybody recommend a tailor to make a graduation dress for my daughter. She has a design in mind and an idea of fabric so now just need someone to make it. Also do the tailors have a selection of fabric or do you need to supply your own. If so, can someone also recommend somewhere with a good selection of fabrics. Many thanks.

Thanks HoustonExpat, do you know if they would bring books to your home? I have a note of the book and material I like, so would be interested to speak with them.

I'm looking for the same too. Went to dragon mart and was quoted 4800 for three sets of bedroom curtains. Plain fabric of mid range quality. What's happened to the prices? Four years ago I did my whole villa for less than 3000!! Is satwa worth going to? Would they come and measure then install? Thanks

Yes sorry the teaching clinic. I was quoted 25000 each and I have both daughters which is frightening!! Looking for a more affordable option but still with great results. If you have names and contact nos for the teaching clinic it would be most helpful. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a dentist there, I have looked through threads and see they come recommended for braces at a much more reasonable cost than I was quoted yesterday. Do you actually get given an appointment time or just go and wait your turn? Can someone give me the contact number too, would be great thanks. Always good to hear positive feedback too!

I went yesterday and they were charging 800dhs which I thought was quite expensive. They were lovely though, very bushy and they were very willing to cut the tape in order for you to see it properly. I have seen some in park and shop cheaper but I'm not sure if they are as nice! They also weren't able to deliver, he was the only guy I saw. I think I may go again towards the end of the week to see if there is more availability.

I know it's a little early but we have decided this year we'd like a real Christmas tree. Where is the best place/value? How long do they generally last? We like to put our tree up around end of first week of December, would it still look good by Christmas day? Thanks

Thanks for the help. We went to look today, there were a couple of open houses so managed to have a look inside the legacy small and large. They seem very nice with quite large plots, a little concerned as to what the dewa would be like watering some of those gardens! Just hope that when we are due to move in a few months the rent hasn't increased significantly!

And the saga continues.......eventually after many many calls they call my husband this evening to say the passport was dispatched on 6th February, it has been known to take a couple of weeks to leave the UK but that's 5 weeks, so where is it? I'm hoping they can track it back as I'm stuck here with no passport for my daughter, I hope no emergency arises.

Yes I'm still waiting.....haven't heard a word from them despite my husband calling and them saying they would call back within 72 hrs which they haven't. I'm now going to mail them. Did the courier just turn up with them, or did they call you first?

Unfortunately once it has been delivered I don't think I have anyway of tracking it. Do they mail you to let you know it's on its way back or does the courier just turn up with it. Ok it makes me feel slightly better that there is someone else on here still waiting, I really hope it turns up this week.

Can I ask if you applied online or sent your application to Liverpool. I renewed my daughters a few days before they changed the procedure and 4 weeks later I am still waiting. I'm starting to get a bit anxious now.

I have just done this almost 3 weeks ago too, we put our home address but my husband put his work PO box and we obviously don't have one for the house, I hope it makes it back ok. Getting a little anxious now I have to admit.

Thanks DubaiCheekyB, doesn't sound great then, TBH didn't expect much else as it was the cheapest option! Such a long flight to be uncomfortable for, we have gone for economy comfort for what extra that will give!! Hope that my two girls manage to get at least a little bit of sleep otherwise it will be a nightmare! Just wondering if we will need to change terminals for our onward flight to Miami, thanks agan.

As an extremely nervous flyer, this is a really scary thread, I knew I shouldn't have opened it! I have to take sleeping tablets to calm me, but even then I'm still a mess. Our family holiday this year is to Florida, I'm already panicking about it and not sure i can even do it, and reading a thread like this just makes it even harder. Does anyone know if there is anywhere that offers relaxation classes specialising in fear of flying? I obviously really want to go but the flight just scares me so much.

I'm thinking about changing the agency I use for my part time maid as they are becoming more unreliable. Does anyone have any experience good or bad with dial-a-maid or Right maids?

I have called a couple and they say they will come and give me a quote then never turn up, so can anybody recommend a reliable removal company that can provide a very reasonable quote.
