I had the same problem last year. You will need to renew it through Dusseldorf.

A friend of mine asked for a similar list to be done BEFORE they signed the lease. This probably makes sense, there area lot of empty villas around.

I only use Jim Will Fix It now. They cost more, but they do the job properly. I got really sick of people coming to fix the plumbing carrying a Spinney's bag with a bent coathanger and a hammer in it.:\:

Might be a good idea to have the aircon serviced and cleaned.especially if the villa has been empty for some time. Also check the water heaters and ask for the water tank to be cleaned. Good luck, I hope you get all of it done.

Singapore Airlines fly there but not every day. Four Seasons in the Old Town is lovely but pricey.

I like the food section! I often find M&S hit and miss in London. They will have the bras you want in Ken High Street but the knickers in Oxford St etc etc.

Greece is much more affordable than the rest of Europe. It's also not far to fly.

Dillon. I did have children in school there. The British curriculum schools are the ESF - website www.esf.edu.hk. They are fee paying schools that conform to the British curriculum.Native English speaking children have first priority. The problem you might have is that they are zoned, so for example we lived on The Peak and the children went to The Peak School. If you don't know where you are living you might have a problem. Some of the areas are harder to get into the ESF schools, so you might want to make enquiries as to which areas have more availability in the schools before you commit to renting in any spot. (Sneaky tip- people used to rent serviced apartments in areas where they wanted the children to enrol. Don't know if the ESF have wised up to this??) If I can help with anything else let me know.

Crown is a good option. Their corporate HQ is in HK and they moved us in and out of HK.

I'm enjoying this weather. After a few years here you get pretty sick of Groundhog Day weather.

I imagine some of them do it to fulfil their own unrequited dreams and ambitions through the medium of their child. I find the whole child beauty pageant thing pretty scary.

I love NARS but find it hard to get here. Laura Mercier isn't available so I stock up on it in London. I find Bobbi Brown and Chanel lipsticks are good as well.

Have no idea about this salon, but I have keratin done when I am back in London and it costs about 150 pounds at my hairdresser's in Chelsea. Have no idea why it is so overpriced here.

Spectacular! That harbour and bridge make a fantastic setting for fireworks.
