Hi, if you do consider returning to UK then I can highly recommend St Marks hospital in London which specialises in bowel surgeries.

Has anyone had this peel? Was it successful and where did you get it done? I have particular problem with pigmentation and liked the sound that the vi peel has less downtime etc.

Agree the trip advisor forum is good and also try booking the Hotel through a uk tour operator. This is usually cheaper than most online sites. Try contacting purely Maldives they have a website detailing different islands, contact email etc and will be happy to give you options for your budget/criteria etc, there are many islands and something to appeal to most budgets. all inclusive does not always work out to be the best option in the Maldives as so expensive. Hope this helps.

Shjbelle why not? Dont you think to keep people waiting to the point they were fainting or leaving before she came on is an outrage! Its the fans, the people who buy her tickets/ albums etc who made her who she is today!!

Such a poorly organized event crushing on entry, over crowded stadium could have been a real disaster. What's with the no lids on drinks it meant you couldn't stock up for when you needed it later disgrace in this heat. Water ran out on some stands. Where was the cooling misters and free water promised by thinkflash i sure didnt feel/see any. The waiting for hours in this conditions was crazy. It was overall a good show spoiled by the greed of promoters, no regard to crowd safety and the late kick off. Is she really suprised the crowd wasn't enthusiastic we were done in. As for moaning about being hot try being in the crowd for hours with people collapsing all over!! Hope it's better for those going tonight.

The Bloomsbury hotel is a good option nice spacious rooms for London, central and 1 min walk to tube station. Also like the location and ultra modern style of W hotel. St martins lane has rooms with furniture like its from ikea totally overrated but it is in a good location.

Hi, December is high season in maldives so prices will be high if you email Richard or Adam at [email protected] give them your accomodation budget, info of requirements like Watervilla etc I'm sure they will come back with options for you there are many islands to suit varying budgets. Sometimes it works out cheaper to go for longer as you may get a free nights stay if there are any deals on offer. Anyhow good luck with the search it's a fantastic holiday and worth every penny in my book.

Try Expedia.co.uk or you can book the hotel through a UK travel agent as it works out way less expensive than booking direct with hotel in my experience - also try Purely Maldives they are often mentioned on trip advisor forums.

Sorry to hear your daughter has been unwell. My DH was diagnosed recently with this apparently it is fairly common here but it can be difficult to get rid off. I believe also that the antibiotics given can cause quite bad side effects and does not always eradicate the bug. Would be interested to hear from anyone successfully treated with anti biotics and also if anyone has tried any natural remedies and had a successful outcome. X

I too have used ultra and for over a year. They were fantastic but of late there has been alot of changes in staff both cleaners and in the office and unfortunately the service hasn't been nearly so good. A shame because it was a good company who provided a great service, I hope things improve soon or I will be looking elsewhere.

You should deffinately go to freemont street in the evening it's worth seeing and great atmosphere. If you are interested in going to the clubs be warned some of them have huge queues however we booked private pole dancing class in advance and the trainer put us on the guest list to the biggest clubs in town which was great. Stratosphere has some scary thrill rides at the top which may be fun, also you get a good view of the strip. The cirque shows are amazing but there are lots of shows that will be great. Tickets for shows can be booked online full price but there are alot of ticket outlets on the strip where you get discounted tickets for same day show but no guarantees you will get the ones you want!! My advice to make the most out of a weekend Is google/plan and book some things in advance as Vegas is soooo busy at weekends and there is so much you can do. Have a great time such a fun place!

Dear Laura it's great you are writing a blogg and raising awareness of bowel cancers. My husband was diagnosed with colorectal cancer age 34 one year ago and there seems to be no obvious support networks or awareness groups in this region. should you need any assistance with raising awareness or support in anyway pls let me knw how we can help. The Drs you mention in your blogg are great! Wishing you well with the treatment.x

Whilst the facilities are great here please note there are major maintenance issues throughout the complex. Many apartments and corridors have large amounts of mould and leakage due to a huge issue with condensation. The condensation problem also causes damage to the wiring including the fire alarms. In the year I have stayed here the water has been cut off on numerous occassions due to faulty pipes on one occassion for 4 full days. Damage to cars in the car park due to leaking ceilings. Honestly the list is endless. The mangement company take no responsibilty and can be frustrating to deal with. There have also been problems with huge a/c bills. I know many others have experienced similar issues to mine so just wanted you to be aware all may not be as it seems make sure you insist maintenance is the landlords reponsibilty.

The only issue with Mac products here is the after service there basically is none. If anything goes wrong there is only one service centre in bur dubai and its useless, its not really an official apple service centre. On occasions when i have needed things repaired they have wanted to charge ridiculous amounts and send the items away for 10 plus days. Feeling I was being ripped off I waited for my next trip to Uk and took the product/s to the apple store where it was fixed for free and within 24 hours. So just beware of this as it can be frustrating when your used to the level of service from the official apple stores in other countries.

Hi Hendy. I hear your frustration as there is a lack of full multidisciplinary approach and specialised surgery in relation to cancer care in this region as we have experienced. As others have suggested the hospital in Al Ain or Abu Dhabi may help, also try Dr Khoury (oncologist) at the American hospital and Dr Braithwaite (gynecologist from UK) also at the American Hospital 043367777 both are very understanding and helpful. Hope this helps, good luck.

The constant maintenance issues in this building are ridiculous. After finally getting the water back on after 4 days its off again. Its just one thing after another in this complex I would be here all day if I were to list them and its becoming stressful and frustrating to deal with! anyone feel the same? Also does anyone else in the complex have issues with seriously high PDC bills? we have huge bills (6k+ per month consumption) that are clearly not right but having difficulty getting it resolved advice on this would be helpful please.
