Hi gewfyu!! Welcome to Dubai. I was searching for Pure Jojoba Oil last month and ended up buying it from an online store after getting in and out of many tiny store like you. But a few weeks back I found it in a shop called Nutrition Zone in Ibn Battuta Mall and that too an imported one from the UK. The shop is not too big though. You can try L'Occitane too.

I second using a BB cream or even the new CC cream. They are creamier but not heavier than foundations and they also give a more dewy finish if required. Bobbi Brown does a really good one, of which you can also choose the undertone of the cream, i.e. a pink, green, yellow etc which acts as a skin tone corrector. there are other brands of BB cream on the market which are cheaper but I havent tried those ones so not sure how good they will be. I would also sterr clear of tinted moisturisers. In this heat and humidity they just slip off your face. :-) Exactly, BB creams r not heavy and so someone with an uneven skin like mine wont get the desired coverage.

And for a dewy look-if you r okay with slightly cheaper one- Bourjois might b good!!

Mssassy, Have you checked out bobbi brown yet ? i've been using it for a very long time - post birth times as well :) and i love their primer too. Bobbi brown sticks/liquid foundation give you good coverage as i have uneven skin on my face and it looks great - but not a dewy look though. Can the ladies out there please suggest what foundations give a lovely fresh dewy look please :) I bought Bobbi Brown and MAC together last time. I liked both but somhow the latter did better work on my face. I still use Bobbi Brown's corrector. Have they come up with anything new lately??

My DD was around 2 kg at 32 weeks and was 3.4 kg at birth. I was induced at 40 weeks because the doc said shes big for my pelvis and unfortunately in a posterior position with a floating head. Though I knew the chances for vaginal delivery was v less, I asked the doc to try her best which is why she induced me. But it was a failure. I went through 6-7 hours of pain with no progress leading to C-Section finally. I do think your baby is a little big but yeah scans are not v accurate to my knowledge and I dont think you should let her induce you unless and until you are sure it wont end up like mine.

I've heard really good things about L'Oreal True Match foundation, Maybelline FIT me foundation and Maybelline Dream Mousse. The L'Oreal foundation comes in a really extensive range of colors. You may need to shop between Lifestyle and Carrefour to get the right shade. L'Oreal True Match is nice but not thick like MAC I believe. I bought MAC pro longwear for the time being but suggestions are still welcome!!!

I used to use Guerlain Lingerie De Peau, but since 3 weeks ago I've been using the Jane Iredale mineral foundation Glow Time BB cream. I've noticed it lasts longer on my skin and has more coverage, but I was happy with the Guerlain too. Thanks sweetcherry. I checked guerlain but I doubt if they have my shade. I think i would end up buying MAC or Bobbi brown.

Thanks Sarahlou. So you being a loyal MAC too, liked Clinique better after switching?? what about the price difference. edited by mssassy on 24/10/2013 I still use Mac Match master which goes well with my skin type I use Clinique in the day. I bought both from UK so they are slightly cheaper than the UAE If my memory serves me correctly the Clinique was slightly cheaper at 20GBP although I do not know the cost here. I cannot use anything that is too powdery at is just dries and cakes into my skin. oh yeah didn't read your earlier reply correctly. u use clinique BB for the day n MAC othertimes!! I know these r a bit overpriced here!

Thanks for your reply Suze63. I too read great reviews on bare minerals. Never used it. Thats medium to full coverage too?? And is it better than MAC (if you have used MAC before) and I believe you get it in Sephora right. edited by mssassy on 24/10/2013

Hii im a newbie here hoping some beauties out there would help me with my latest problem!! I ll try to make it short and believe this is the right place to post!!! Well I have a new body n skin of lately that doesn't like any of my previous clothes and cosmetics!!! Yeah Im in a new phase of life - "motherhood" and enjoying every moment with my tiny human. I have almost filled my wardrobe with new clothes that help to cover up those 'still to be burned baby fat' but have a major problem with choosing the right cosmetics!! Im a loyal MAC user but my MAC studio fix foundation doesn't suit my skin anymore. My skin has become really dry and uneven. (Maybe the pregnancy hormones and sleepless nights have to be blamed ). I want a foundation that would help me look fresh and evened out. Heard MAC prolongwear concealer mixed with a moisturiser would do great on dry skin. Is anyone out there using the same. I really really want some help on this one soon cos I have a party coming up!!!!!..
