Dear MunchkinMommy, Thanks for your reply and info and I am sorry you had to go thru that. Having a VBAC is a big dilemma isnt it! it gives me anxiety!! Anyway, what is cervix tear, oh my God, the first time I hear that. What causes it? I how about tearing during labor but not cervix one?? Where is Dra. Asma from? I still dont know what to do :((((((( and I am 30 weeks along! by the way, how many years between both pregnancies? my son is 4. I can imagine! But don't worry dear, that won't help.Dr. Asma is syrian (she speaks good english).I didn't mean to scare you with mentioning the tear :| sorry about thatit isn't very common..it could've been for more than one reason but they told me it was probably because of the extremely fast dialation I went from 2cms to 10 in 2 hours!! (With my first I had a c\s bcuz failed to progress after 5cms) can you imagine how different the situations are lol . My daughters are 4 years 10 days apart :)

I had my 2nd child in Qatar @ Al Ahli. My doctor was Asma. She was very nice and explained anything I wanted to know thoroughly. She encouraged me to have a VBAC and told me why I was a good candidate. However, on my due date she wasn't on duty. Doctor Maha was. Also another professional doctor,I really liked her. Unfortunately, things didn't go well for me and after being so close to a natural birth I had to deliver by a c/s because of a cervix tear while pushing :( and I had complications. The whole experience was so tough but I got great care. Even the nurses were helpful and sweet. One of the doctors who is I think a senior consultant sujatha (nor sure of the spelling) was amazing and so gentle. But I heard she's always busy too.HTH :)

Hi..I asked my hubby to clarify what he did. He said he applied alone not through an agency. We applied before yesterday, they told him it will take two days.To our surprise yesterday morning he got the message! The lady he gave the application to told him he will probably need to come back and change the nationality! Lol He also mentioned that we did have an approval but that it got expired Feb. 2013 and this was him applying to get it renewed.Mrsw2: I heard they're making it difficult for agencies,do try to apply yourself.I hope it does work out for you soon. BEDH: he said it's an approval whether we want to transfer a filipina already in Doha onto our sponsership or get one through an agency from the philipines isn't a problem. P.s I also remembered that my friend also got a filipina approval 2 to 3 weeks go. edited by MunchkinMommy on 02/04/2013

Used to get cleaners from Qatar maids...not all are great but some filipinas do a really good job ..it's always better to ask them to send someone you tried and liked. Ask for her by name and hopefully she's available. Anyway we got a flier the other day for an " Ahwa cleaning and maid services" (they also have babysitters) and today was my first try with one lady and she was great and polite! :)

I'm sure I saw one at babyshop city centre and their prices are much better than party kingdom and other places that have costumes. However, I'm not sure about the size. You can give them a call :)

I did not know how to sponsor my maid... so I used an outside PRO company called Al Taresh... Cost was very cheap in comparison to the time and labour it would have taken me to do it myself... Lisa can I please get a number for Al Taresh? TIA

Not sure how its like to work there, but my daughter goes to Newton lagoon and we're happy with it. Her teacher has been there for more than a year so I guess she seems to be happy too :)
