Thanx Sakhifa for your reply. Really appreciate it. So any type of voice recorder will do right? or is there any specific type for this purpose. Any particular brand? I only know of the ones I saw long ago which used mini cassettes to record. Dont even know what exists now. My only fear is not being able to record for any reason like dead battery or its low recording capacity ;) Thanx again.

No problem at all :-) That was the Dubai Peace Convention where usually Zakir Naik comes. But the NMS is also being put forward by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) and Kalemah. It will have lots of workshop sesions with a number of scholars. This event is free and open to Muslims (Converts & those born into the faith) and Non-Muslims alike. Only registration is required through the website.

My company is currently looking for account managers, business development managers and digital account managers. its a great company to work for and very flexible. It is sales and selling ad space but a lot different to any company i have ever worked for here or in the uk? Sounds like your talking about working for an agency, alot of the big ones over here will not take you on with direct experience in the same field, and any other small ones will not have many or decent clients? have you looked a PR jobs ? You never cease to amaze me Ma sha Allah!!! I just want to show you to the whole world that Oh People and Women we have a treasure among us we must treasure and learn from this human being. Where, When, How can we meet please. You are most welcome to my house when you are in Sharjah but please tell me how can we make this possible. Thank you so much for describing the beauty of OUR country. You are right the way women are uncovering without limits really amazes and saddens most of us when we go there. It is for them, a sign of modernity. Other than this I just love my country and nowadays Im getting these very slight feelings and thoughts of moving back, what am i doing here, etc. It wont be easy with the security, electricity issues, etc but then everybody else there is enjoying more than what I enjoy here!!!! Though not my idea of enjoyment but there is an increasing group of my type of people in Pakistan which I m coming to know of esp from where I am (Islamabad/Pindi) so may be im being more inclined. Im an original Pakistani but the moment we open our mouth in a shop there plus our abayas though plain ones, people know that we are not from them :-) Fast food joints and market places are full there at any time of the day and we are the ones converting rupees into dirhams thus developing our mental maths :D :D coz if we use the mobile calculator they"ll catch us again :-) With so many posts on EW titled 'mrsb' I think the admins should have a separate folder with your name so that we all can post there and itl be easy for you to see ur daily mail. Hi TDB!!!! Thanx for the encouragement. I miss the baking discussions here and wonder where have all the bakers gone. At one time I was really looking forward to your outlet. Hope you come back to the blog and the Cookie page after you and the baby are settled. I want to do something but to be frank finances here are the biggest hurdle so my only option is selling in fairs and I want people to taste and enjoy good food and flavor. I am absolutely against Box-mixes. NEVER used one. Hope the authorities start something here like in the west where women sell from home after food dept. checks and home license etc. Really appreciate the tips and feedback. Hi EW, What would you like to buy from the food tables in these events? What do you think will sell more or interests people? To the ladies who sell; Is it a nice place for profit as well or good for marketing only esp ARTE. I went to TS ARTE which has many food tables but not much crowd or people just tasting and not buying. Im asking coz many a times iv thought of taking part in them so want to get an idea. Just to clarify the timings I mentioned, if you go after 6 pm (or 10 am) the lab might refuse you and tell you to come again next day. Before 6 you can visit the lab any time, from when the clinic opens. Hope I could explain it well.

Hi Ladies, I need to do a premarital checkup, and i was told this is in Barsha. Can't find any information online, does anyone know how I can find it? Thanks! Mabrook Marroosh, Pre-marital test can be done in any of the health centers. you may even go to Al-Badae Health Center, which is behind Shangrila Hotel on SZR, next to Gems Wellington, near Canadian Uni n Union Coop. You and brother will register at the Counter (AED 150 for each), see the doctor, he will order some Blood tests for you. you will register again this time for the labs ,at the counter (AED 260 for each) and then proceed to the lab where your blood will be drawn. The results might take 5 to 10 days. If you want it urgent, kindly inform the doctor BEFORE he orders for the tests. Please take your passport along as the lab will need it for identification. Call the Lab after 7 days to find out if results are ready, if yes come again together register (AED 150 for each) and see the doctor to get the certificate. so the total is AED 1120/- HTH :-) Thank so much for that. It's just me who needs to do the check up, so cost will be half I guess. Do you know if they give the results in both Arabic and English? I don't want to have to have it translated, so if there is Arabic that would be great. I went to the center in Knowledge Village and they told me to go to Barsha. But anywhere will do really :) The certificate issued will be both in english and arabic mentioning the same result. The clinic opens at 07:30 am till 09:30 pm (sun- thurs) BUT blood collection for this test is done only BEFORE 06:00 pm. On saturday its open from 08:00 am till 01:00 pm so better to get the labs done before 10:00am if going on saturday.

Do you know where I can buy salwar kameez or just long tunics in lawn for everyday wear? I would like something very simple with a little design or thread embroidery but in a light material that would be good for summer weather. I do like the desi salwars but find that the longer tunics, high necklines and long sleeves followed in Pakistani tailoring are more suited for me as modest Islamic style dressing. :) I have seen Bareeze but they are also quite formal and more for special occisions? Maybe I am wrong.. I found some at an exhibition by a store called Ego and I bought a couple and it is exactly what I am looking for, but I cant seem to find their shop here in Dubai. Is there something similar available that I could buy readymade several pieces, being dailywear I wouldnt want it very heavy or expensive. I would really appreciate any ideas. The Ladies at the stall here will tell you of the other exhibitions they take part in and then you can either give them ur number or contact their main organizers. Zam Zam Market in Sharjah has many pakistani shops and are very reasonable. Meena bazaar is very famous BUT EXPENSIVE. Also, There's an exhibition coming up on 10th (1:00) pm n 11th (10:00 am) of october 2013 (friday n Saturday) at India Trade & Exhibition Center, Sharjah. Many Pakistani dress Stalls will set up here so you might get nice stuff here too. HTH

Is it possible to freeze Paneer and then thaw it later to cook. For eg. Im planning to marinate paneer pieces, put in sticks and freeze them to steam them later. Will they still be good in texture and taste after the thawing/defrosting? TIA
