hi xia i was in for a few days as had quite complex surgery hope you can get an appointment somewhere, sometimes fibroids dissapear of their own accord, or there may be a medication you could take to help remove. are you in much pain ??

Hi I had surgery recently here under the care of dr hafeez he part owns international modern hospital so that's the only place he operates in Dubai My regular gynae dr sant recommended him and came to the surgery, I can't recommend him highly enough. I know my operation wouldn't have been done keyhole in the uk if a all possible Good luck please google him you will find lots of info

Were just waiting to find out when he wants to come to meet us. Will keep you all posted, have been told by a neighbour that he cant change any condition thats already in our contract, but if weve any issues or need anything in writing to request this before giving him the new cheques. Thanks for highlighting we need to get the old cheques back first ... I sometimes feel too trusting out here

I got met with the same when i tried to make an appt for my hubbie. He had been seen at Dr Michael but was quoted a ridiculous amount for crowns, been told that Dr Madhou is reasonable and doesnt rip you off. Interested to know anything on the other dentist please ??

We had a maid from howdra for the last year and a bit, she was really sweet and we both trusted her (which i think is a good thing out here). My only concern was that she used to tell me awful things about the accommodation that Howdra had them in, no running water etc... so she was pleased when her contract ended last month and wasnt renued. I'll look up explore not heard of this company, has anyone got contacts handy ??

My GP in the UK used to always tell me that cranberry juice was no good, and not to waste my money in buying it, he always swore by water water water :) Here the urologist keeps telling me citrus juices, barley water etc....

I know someone who may be looking. Unfortunately her agency contract has ended, so she's had to leave Dubai. She worked for us once a week through the agency and we couldnt fault her work (apart from the fact that she liked CHOCOLATE:)) I'll post again if and when i hear that shes back in Dubai, if your still looking then

Thanks ladies, We ended up filling in the on line form as couldnt get through on any of the telephone numbers (but it was after work on Thursday). Strictly anoraks :) i like it ... I agree and think that Denise will be good, and possible Nicky from Westlife/Boyzone wherever. Wonder if there are to be any changes in the professionals this year, its a shame as theyve got rid of a few of my favourites :( Had a lesson with Ian Waite a few years ago at his London studio, he is amazing !! Me and my friend spent our whole lesson drooling over his unbelievable chest :)...

Ladies, Can I ask for your opinions as to if it's ok to go swimming two weeks after laparoscopic surgery... I'm unsure as to if I could pick up infection?? The scars are all closed and clean and healing I'm just dying to have a stretch in our pool Perhaps a silly question I know :)

Hi Sorry to hear your another endo lady :( ive also seen a lot of doctors out here. The ones i see are Dr Rosalie Sant @ Primavera Clinic, she is really good, i highly recommend her. Ive recently had surgery with Dr Hafeez at International Modern Hospital, if you are in need of surgery, this guy is amazing. I cant believe the surgery he did on me two weeks ago via keyhole... Another good Dr is Dr Santi @ Primavera Clinic, she was very understanding towards endo and the general pain/problems etc Hope you find someone soon

Nearly forgot ... i bought a new cook book from crate n barrel for slow cooking ... will have to take a look, as i we used to seem to cook was mince and steaks, and obviously theyre's far more other options out there :)

Think i had this injection after my recent operation ... Seemed like such a "little" injection compared to years of zoladex. I need to look into what it actually does, if its the same thing i was told i had to have it every 3 months for 2 years, unless my IVF dr says im fit to have another cycle soon...
