ive looked everywhere this last week, thanks for the recommendations ladies. zengirl - can i ask .... yours from lakeland, which one is it ?? it was at MOE at the weekend and they told me that for some licensing issues they were unable to stock or order in, but that the Abu Dhabi stores have them ... I'll ring and try and get someone to pick one up for me if thats the case

Hi I've had zoladex injections for I guess the last 3 years, I stopped then in August last year through the advice of my ivf doctor. I have to say I was so healthy while on them. The last year I also took hrt to compensate none damage. I wish I could go back on it now tbh, as a result I'm having surgery on Thursday as my endo is back with avengance. Is your doc recommending either for you?? Interested to know who your doc is. Take care

Thanks ladies for your replies. Maintenance have been out and said theyve turned it off, but its still dripping :) meant to be coming back at 2.30 with someone to quote to repair and check ... Its 3.55 now and were still stuck in waiting :( DH is getting twistier by the minute !!!!

Hi ladies, Can i have your opinion and advise please ... Weve a broken water heater, and came back this morning to a flood in our kitchen ... Really interested to know if it should be our landlord who picks up the costs to replace or if its down to us. Our contract states ... the landlord is responsible for maintenance of electrical, mechanical and plumbing air condition etc .. as and when required and the cost thereof ... Surely this is stating its their responsibility ? thanks !!!

Ive seen lots of gynae's out here, and honestly do think its personal preference. Lots of my work colleagues see Dr Janetta and praise her very highly, i didnt feel that when i met her, so didnt go back. Two gynae's ive seen recently (both for non pregnancy reasons) were Dr Rosalie Sant @ Primavera Clinic in Healthcare City and also Dr Santi @ Cooper Health Clinic which is Al Wasl road area ... Good luck :)

I used to take this in the uk but honestly thought it would have been a no no drug for Dubai Really interested now to know if my doc would prescribe it. Ive two pharmacies at work will see if either of them stock it you have a prescription

I was at Atlantis last night with work, it was fab !! When we booked, they did tell us the time restrictions and the fact that they had to get prepared for suhoor ... we left around 9.30pm, and the place was still quite full. Such a shame that they cancelled on you ladies ...

Good luck with your treatments ladies xx Just wanted to say i went to Medcare for my injection when Fakih was closed. They must be really used to this happening, as exactly at 9pm i was having my injection. It was no problem at all.

Thanks ladies, Once concern we have is there are a few maintenance items that the current landlord hasnt done as yet, he is trying to say that these are our concern ... things like a leak in one of the bathrooms, and air condition service... So then legally we can stay in the apartment until May next year which is good, i guess after then though we have no rights ? the new landlord can raise the rent etc ?

Hi Weve got similar problems with ours, due to the fact that my inlaws have moved had their internet/bt connections moved ... my hubby seems to think we need to relink (cant think of his technical word) our laptops with the slingbox when back in the uk. I'll try and remember to let you know if it works :)

No concern over my condition, pain, the fact that i want to try for a family etc ... Hi I agree with Bourn Hall and the fact that they helped with the very first ivf baby... but my concern is that i was initially emailed by their general manager who was very helpful, informative. When i emailed back, this lady seemed to have disappeared, and someone else contacted me, again this happened ..... When i spoke to them yesterday they took my details again and said that they would be in touch next week as were unable to book any further appointments... I had a failed cycle with Dr Fakih in January. Compared to my treatment previously in the UK, it was easy with him, stress free, unfortunately just didnt stick. Ive also met with Dr Wael of DGFC... Im happy to exchange email addresses if you want to chat further??

I see Dr Heather for acupuncture anyhow, but spoke to her last night about the food intollerance testing, she says she feels it would be of huge benefit to me, and i should notice differences, less pain etc. She said the only downer is that its expensive around 2000aed, but said that its a blood test, and the report/results take approx 5 days to come back, then she said that we would meet again, and she would write me out a programme/diet to start to follow ... Think im going to do it, may even check to see if Bupa would contribute :)
