Morning ladies, Im really interested in this ... Im thinking of having the food intollerance testing done, but that is really expensive, so therefore thinking of trying to cut things out myself for a month see if i feel any better, less bloated, less pain etc. Thank you all for the links to the websites, i'll start taking a look today. If anyone could recommend any books to read, would greatly appreciate it. Thankx

Thanks for your replies xx Im intrigued, ive exchanged emails with them a few times, their last email to me was the end of May saying they are open to see patients .... So i rang today (after the advise of yet another Dr ive seen... for a 3rd opinion) and been told that they are not taking appointments as they dont have their license as yet !!?? Trying to find out about their doctors, see if its worth while waiting to see if/when they actually do open ... or whether i decide to stick with Fakih or move to Dr Wael/Mohammad ...

Ive just been advised by the UK car hire company rentalcars.com that to hire a vehicle from them they will require us to have the international driving license ... As someone has already posted these can be done instantly at any emirates post office ... Suppose i will do it, just so we dont arrive back in the UK for 3 weeks to be told we cant have the hire car

Im so glad to read this dallydoo ... im seeing Dr Wael tmro as he wants to do a scan. My appointment is 8.45am !!! My reason for comparing Dr Fakih/Wael now is due to the fact that my 2 gynae's seem to say i need surgery before IVF again... im wanting to make sure i get the best opinions before diving into more surgery. Huge congratulations on your pregnancy :)

Hi I met Dr Wael on Sunday, i found him very nice, he didnt rush me, had time to read the information id taken with me etc ... My negative would be i didnt feel comfortable in the clinic, i waited nearly an hour to see him (which i understand each patient gets enough time they need to see him - which is great) but then had to wait another hour for a scan, which didnt happen as i had to leave to get back to work. Their opening hours arnet to good either. Im going to stick with Dr Fakih Good luck in whatever you decide, it honestly is personal preference

Hi KCM, Sorry to hear your another endo lady :( Since moving to Dubai last year ive seen quite a few gynae's out here, a few that have been highly recommended by my company health care, and by friends/colleagues... Ive found 2 that seem to know about endo, they both are very different in their approach, but they both do say and recommend the same things for me personally which i find interesting. They are Dr Santi at Cooper Health Clinic and Dr Sant at Primavera Clinic. There is also an endo specialist called Dr Ghassan Lotfi who was working at Emirates Hospital, he now has moved to Latifa Hospital. Ive been emailing him for a while through the endometriosis dubai website and cannot fault him, he is extremely helpful and understanding. I hope to be able to go and see him this next week, even though i dont have the referral paperwork to be able to go to Latifa hospital, he is willing to see me. Hi Spudz Yeah hes left Emirates Hospital and is starting work with Latifa Hospital this week. I managed to get hold of him via email, and he has been extremely supportive and helpful and im not even an active patient of his. I just hope i can go to Latifa and see him there. Are you already a patient of his? Whats your experience?

Ladies Please excuse my ignorance here but latifa hospital is this government hospital? Do this mean I can or cannot go there?? Eventually found out where the endometriosis dr is moving onto and it's here. Has anyone any experience of this hospital?? Thanks for reading

Hi Ladies Has anyone see this Dr before ?? He is apparently an Endometriosis specialist, and was working at Emirates Hospitals. Ive just rang today to make an appointment to be told he no longer works there, and they cant tell me where he's gone to ... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I spoke to a lovely lady at the rent committee this morning on the telephone. Weve offered to pay our ll as a goodwill gesture 5%, but the cheek of her, shes asking for 7% so my hubbie has said no chance, and were off to the rent committee. I was concerned as the possibility of us being evicted or it costing us lots of money but the RC advised that the costs that we would pay woudl be recovered by the LL when it was proven that we were in the right, and she confirmed also that we are safe, she cannot evict us. Its a little nervy and worrying though what to do, sometimes i feel just give up and move ... but then i think why should we

How many of you UK ladies still have a UK driving license as well as an UAE one?? Ive received a letter saying my UK license is about to expire as my photo id is 10 years old... do i still need to renew this now that ive a UAE driving license ?? Think that living social voucher is only valid at the festival city ?? not their emirates towers salon. I tend to go to the nail bar in the Souk Al Manzil, think i pay around 150/160 for mani/pedi but the girls are really nice and i feel they do a good job. The salon ive been getting my hair done lately have beauty - think they have offers on quite often too, its CNB near to Southridge
