Go see a lactation consultant immediately to help you with your latch. If the latch is incorrect this will continue. In the meanntime use a nipple shield and lasinoh cream. If you search the old threads i am sure there is a breastfeeding group you can get in contact with. Try calling Cecile De Scaly for some help (private midwife) 0 5 0 6 9 4 7 9 3 8. Worth it if you want to keep BF. I hated BF but persevered for 4 months but needed help to maintain. Good luck!

Breast feeding should never be painful regardless of how often you feed and milk is made on demand. Increase your diet in the afternoons to help with the quality of your milk.

Loved Phuket but rainy season may till Aug, best time for us but if you want sun then go to the North. Pro's of rainy season; still hot enough, cheap digs, less crowded resorts.

Wow, go super mum! Now you have LO in a great routine you feel like you have your life back, well almost! The 4am feed will gradually shrink except during growth spurts till it disappears altogether. We let LO CIO at 4am for 1min for 3 nights, 3mins for 3 nights etc until she gradually slept through. Keep up the great work!

Delivered at AH, great experience. Make sure you ask to speak to Naz, their lactation consultant although she only works office hours and not weekends. Saw her twice as was not feeding correctly, no extra charge. Midwives showed me how to BF in the sleep position but have to ask or will just leave you to it. I instructed nurses to take LO to the nursery to get a few hours shut eye after delivery but brought back after 1 hour as i had instructed NO SUGAR WATER under any circumstances so no sleep for me LOL! They will supply formula etc if you need but they wil encourage you to BF at very least the thick stuff (i forget the name). Congratulatios and safe delivery!

Try to get DH to offer baby the bottle cause if she can smell you then will want you. Try madela bottles/teats or TT. Be structured about when you give it say only at dreamfeed time for a few days then slowly introduce during the day. If you always give in when baby refuses and offer the breast then this will take longer as you will teach the baby that it causing a fuss = getting what it wants IE boobies. Good luck, persevere and trust me it wont starve.

Roundabout at Jebel Ali race track, go straight till you get to the traffic lights where they are building the new flyover. You can now only go left here towards the Al Khail rd, keep going till you reach the traffic lights you take a left, go to the roundabout and come back on yourself and head back in the direction you came(this is due to major traffic works and road closures in the last few days!) You will have gone over khail rd on the way to and from. Look out for big sign Emirates id as you approach the petrol station on the RHS.

Cecile does a package or pay by the session. Worth every penny and then some. May need a few sessions to sort out your problems. If you stick to her word as gospel then will cost you less in the long run. Last year she charged 350aed per session but may have gone up since then but like i said worth every penny/dirham!

Dont buy G always go for the best colour you can afford and clarity is not all that. If you cant see flaws with the naked eye then why waste your time with the magnifying glass? Not like you're gonna look at it every time with one of those. Concentrate on the fininsh grade look for Very good/very good or excellent as this reflects the way the ring sparkles and will not go dull the moment you leave the shop. And no flouresents. If it fits all these catergories then not a bad price but would still bargain.

I also suffer from this and was not aware of it until i felt a sharp sudden pain in my abdomen during an excercise class one day. I had it checked out and turns out it was a ruptured cycst and the ultrasound showed many other cycsts on my ovaries. That was in the August and in the November i concieved my DD. I have always watched what i ate, excercised and have been on the lower side of the BMI scale. I noticed cravings and hairs in unusual places but didn't think it was serious enough to go to the docs. I now try to maintain a heathier lifestyle in regards to diet/treats and force myself to get in at least 1 cardio class a week. Fibre filled foot is great for keeping cravings under control but watch fruit juice and too much fruit for unwanted sugar content.

Dito the Andaman for children friendly hotel, we stayed at the Datai which is mostly honeymooners but walked along the beach to the Andaman. Very child friendly with plenty of activities and beautiful part of the island. We hired a car for the week as it was dirt cheap and travelled the island extensivley. Go to the crocodile farm, aquarium, cable cars and make sure you eat at the hawkers markets as food is amazing and very cheaap.

How funny, after giving birth i also got braces.... I opted for the ceramic ones as this is my 3rd set. Didn't find they went yellow after a few months but i had the bands/wires changed every month by dentist as the bands that hold them in place do discolour regularly. I have also had the braces that go behind the teeth but do not recommend them as they were pretty painfull and takes a little longer for the teeth to move this way. I saw Dr Joy in Jumeriah and found it pretty reasonable.

Bought a bumbo and didn't really use. FP jumperoo was best money spent, DD loves it and has plenty to keep her entertained. LAMAZE toys sold at spinneys, waitrose, debenhams are great for out n about. They do socks and wrist rattles which are great for popping in the nappy bag.

Plan cheap activities at the weekend such as different parks or beaches. Take pack lunches out with you along with water. Buy and use the entertainer for when you end up in malls. Clothe your famly from aramex shop and ship and stop getting ripped off in Dubai malls. Cancel your showtime and pay 30aed/month for a VPN address and watch TV for free. Do amonthly shop and spend a day or 2 cooking then freeze and defrost as you need. Go to the supermarket when the kids are in bed so you dont have them asking for things.
