Think the closest may be JBR, Ibn Battuta or MOE.

I remeber my DD changing a lot between 9-12months with her morning nap routine. It used to be 7am wake 8.30am nap then allof a sudden it was more like 9.30/10am (i watched her sleep cues, yawning, rubbing eyes etc) in the space of a few days.I found it helped to be consistent with her routine and winding down. I also remember the afternoon nap was taken some days but often not and DD was grumpy for weeks till her morning nap moved to 1, 3hour lunch time nap and no afternoon. I think its a transitional time for them nap wise. Perhaps also think about maybe your LO has developed a fear of his bed? Its possible, has anything negative happened that you could relate to? What is your feelings on letting him cry? My DD would babble for ages then have the odd angry cry or 2 and then if left would take the hint and go to sleep.

We bought DD a gold bangle for her birthday. It will be of sentimental value to her one day and if not she can always sell it and buy whatever she wants.

Payless stock Hush Puppies and another brand (all real leather). Mothercare, pitter patter. I measure DD's feet and have them sent from Amazon as much cheaper.

Got this as a gift for DH for fathers day. He loved it! If you are an experienced diver then you have to show your PADI card and last dive in the last 6 months if not then have to a refresher but they also have a course that non divers can do so that they too can do the dive in the mall. All organised by Al Boom.

I also use cotton wool and water to change DD even at 15 months.I also used a cream called natural baby bottom cream from baby scents. They will deliver to Dubai if you ask them.My DD also had a really hard timewith nappy rash at 4months and this cleared it in a few days. It also works a treat on red noses from blowing too much when you have a cold. Look at http://www.babyscents.co.uk/PBSCCatalog.asp?CatID=1291116

From my flying days i do remember a customer pre ordering cows milk as crew had refused/run out due to high customer requests. Not sure if they were a gold member or so but may be worth phoning them, telling them you've been refused before and what can be done.

We bought at the wrong time and yes the house is a noose but to be honest weloved living in our own place and decorating. We had a great feeling of being settled after 4 years of renting here. We plan to stay long term and will wait for the house to be worth something again but until then will look to refinance to make things easier. If you buy at the right time then you could do well in the long term. As for changing the law etc really think its unlikely as the world may put its foot down to such a move as too many foreign investments here supporting the economy.

This happened to my uncle a few years ago but wasn't PPD, it was the henna also used in hair dyes. The hospital staff knew him as ther incredible melting man as all his ears and mouth look like it had melted. Luckily it avoided affecting his eyes.

They are on sale just now. Most people dont do a whole room anyway as the fashion is a feature wall with coloured paint on the other walls so may be worth a look. edited by nutty on 23/11/2011

From what i've read babies sleep in 40 min cycles. When you put a baby to sleep who is overtired it is harder for them to get a good sleep and generally wake up after 40 mins or 1 cycle. Watch for you DD's sleepcues and try putting her to bed as soon as she displays any IE sneezing, blinking, staring off, rubbing face and yawning. At 5 months my DD woke at 7am slept 8.30-11am 1pm-3pm and 4.30-5.30pm and went to bed at 7pm for 12 hours. It took me a long time to get into this routine but used the baby whisperer book for hints and tips. Of course not all babies sleep the same amount and some need less than others. The baby whisperer book also has a method of resettling a baby just nefore the 40min time to get themto go through to a 2 nd sleep cycle. Also think about where your DD is sleeping. My DD would never sleeplonger than 40mins in her pram but would sleepfor hours at home. Whatever you decide to do, DONT give up after a few attempts stick with what you decide to do and be consistent!

Invest in a 500aed chest freezer and do a monthly shop, going only 1/weekfor fresh fruit and veggies, the less you are in the supermarket the less you will spend.

Bless your cotton socks for making your own stock, i am impressed! Yes its fine to cook freeze and recook. I only freeze, cook and refreeze meat/chix etc but have made the mistakeof refreezing the "do not refreeze" chix/turkey fromspinneys for a couple of months before i realised what i was doing. No issues though wouldnt give it to DD. FYI Heinz make a salt free baby stock cube range available from UK.

Perhaps its your customer approach. I find in the states the sales people dont give me a chance to look and follow me around the store, i know i walkout a shop if not given the oppertunity to browse if i have any questions i will ask. Maybe its not, just something to ponder. Been selling at a few fairs myself and found them a hit or a miss with no rhyme or reason to it. Keep at it though,it only takes a few fairs for your name to be known and people to give recommendations about your products to their friends. Also think about your display,is it too cluttered or too sparce? Are your prices inline with competitors, although most people are not neccisarily aware how much time and effort crafters put into their work and assume theycan but silimar for cheaper elsewhere.

No we intend to speak to them very soon though. We bought before the boom but are still in negative equity. We rented out the villa for say 10aed and rented a bigger villa close by for the same 10aed. We dont cover the mortgage, we just needed the extra space. We bought in the springs and we are glad to see the prices are going up but not quite where we need themto be just yet. We are UK property owners but am not sure how much we would have to put into it to do so and then when we sell what the extra fees would be. But will defolook into it.

Good luck! And fyi noticed on the Ellas kitchen sachets that they have the percentages of the ingrediants so maybe you could work it out and make your DD the same. Probably much cheaper. We use them to coat the stuff DD doesnt like, that is until she catches on. edited by nutty on 20/11/2011

My DD is 15months too. Some days she eats more than me and others just fresh air.Im all for letting her go hungry if she doesnt want her dinner but do worry like you about her waking in the night although have tried it and she was fine and slept through. Was very hungry next morning mind. If she wokein the night would try to resettle her and put her down without offering food/milk maybe just water but hasn't happened yet. She has milk in her breakfast, yoghurt midday and 150ml before bed. I try to give her more calcium rich veggies rather than dairy products as we have allergies in the family and when we started her on cows milkit made her wake in the night until we reduced it. I think its something like min 200ml at this age but not 100% sure.

If its part of your baggage allowance then you check it in with the rest of your luggage if its outwith your allowance then contact the airline to find out how much their excess baggage is /kilo as normally booking it in advance is cheaper.

WE are in same position but our rate is 9.6%! We have now rented it out and have rented a much bigger villas for what we rentedour mortgagedplace out for. Still have topay the huge mortgage but at least we are in bigger place. Wouldlove to refinance but would have to put in another 700k and just not willing to do it.

Is that the place on Al Kahil road with the fountain? near Nad al sheba? where the baseball ground is/was? Not the place that i mean. Al Barsha pond park is nearer to MOE. Huge lake/pond surrounded by a fab running track and 2 really good sheltered kids play areas. Can hire bikes too. From umm sequied road towards Dubai take a left continue tillyou see the huge Emirates bank on the corner of a junction take a left there. Continue till just before a set of pedestrian lights and take a right over a sand/dirt road till the enterance to the park.
