My agent added this into my tenneants contract too and i was mad! As they wanted to charge both of us but on the side she did tell me that the landlord can print off the contract form the Ejari website and sign for free and return. They basically cant really follow it up.

I know that ikea do I but to be honest I didnt really like it? TIA Ive seen pink and purple kids kitchen in Dragonmart. Dont know how much it costs though. I also saw a wooden kitchen unit for kids at Ikea that costs dhs700 C4 had them for 70aed

We live in District 2 and think this may of been one of the first to be handed over judging the mature greenery surrounding us. Good access to Emirates road and to the springs from D2. D7,8,9 bit newer and further into the community althugh not sure if they will reopen road onto the Khail from D9.

I just got some beautifull voile type curtains and i had them lined for 170ae.d/pair in Dragon mart. (230x170cm) Some really nice fabrics there but you will have to search amongst the chaff. My curtains look good quality alas i know they are not but have no intention of keeping them forever.

We also had to take Dewa bill and our pp's. Make sure you go before 1pm(said 2pm on their website but was closing up when we got there). We went to Al Wasl to get it done and they took DD's picture for us. Think it was around 150aed. They allocated us a clinic nowhere near us despite the Dewa bill but manged to get this changed with no hassle.

Before i left work to have DD i used to work with a few Emarati's,always found them to be very polite and kept their feelings/thought to themselves until you got to know them. Not reserved, always willing to give most things a go but the real them was burried a bit deeper. Now that i have left work i dont have any/much interaction with the locals but I do know if ever i was stuck i was stuck at the side of the road or had a problem at a goverment office they are always the first to help and hapy to do so.

As another poster said depends on quality and placment of the villa. My friends just rented a 2 bed in Sp 15 on a lake with fully upgraded kitchen, bathrooms for 95K. Top end of market i would think but their place is stunning! Back to back are cheaper and on the main road is cheaper again.Lake veiw/park and pool are more, especially if landscaped or upgraded/

Its not discrimination, you cant take a baby to lots of places because its not suitable for them. Think of all the nail dust from the woman buffing the gel nails, all the chemicals from the gel and the acrylic. Also what happens if your baby does cry in the middleof a procedure? Chances are you may not be able to tend to baby and then it becomes the responsibility of the salon staff who are beauticians not child minders to keep them quiet. Lots of hairdressers dont allow babies. People chatting on the phone.... seriously how can you compare? Some people even chatting next to each other are loud so whats the difference. <em>edited by nutty on 11/11/2011</em>

As in the bottled spice section? Duhhhhhhhh I should have thought to try there Its a Dubai thing, think how the people who stack the shelves think and only then do you have a chance of finding what you need.

Its 5 years old although only been used for 1 child. The original chasis not the newer type with the air filled tyres not the foam filled. Good condition but not perfect. The older variety comes with the fleece covers unless bought from here as UK discontinued sometime ago but mothercare here still sold them up until last year.

We are off to Singapore for xmas, rainy season and off peak. Lots for bubs. Flights were on the cash plus miles for EK 8000miles plus 1500aed or singapore airlines for 2400aed. Hotels about 400/500aed a night. Food dirt cheap as is transport and admissions are reasonable.

I have a baby but would under no circumstances take her to a salon, the chemicals and nail dust in the air and would also not be that inconsiderate to the people around me as i could not guarentee her behaviour the whole time. I dont expect it to be a proper spa but i do expect to get my treatments done without the disturbance of other peoples children. The mobile phone yakkers are a norm, not everyone chooses to have children. Leave the baby with DH and enjoy not having to worry about the baby waking up etc.

You could take them to Sharjah museum of flight, small museum in part of the original runway, fist in the middle east then go on to Qanat al Qasba to eye of the emirates and lots of nice cafe/resteraunts there. Can do an abra cruise for 10aed. Abu Dhabi mosque tour, go very early and buzz them to check for wheelchairs then afternoon tea at the emirates palace. My gran loved the hot springs near Ras al Khamaih, very cheap. Purpose built facility although segregated. Musandam boat tour, dont have to get off the boat, whole day out. Get them tickets for At The Top, you can park just outside the door and a very short walk. Dolphin show at the creek park. Dubai museum n a small wonder round Bastakyia, parking just outside FYI dont think disabled badge is transferrable think you have to take it to the RTA for a dubai version but cant remeber.

My doctor had the rights to deliver there last year but said she wouldn't do it. Asked me to consider another hospital, thought it was a financial decsion on her part but when pressed said the aftercare was what she was worried about.Plenty of nusres not so many midwife's makes a big difference in her opinion.

Appreciate you are not asking for advice when choosing a pram but here is my 2 dirhams worth. Bought a bugaboo chameleon and was happy with it even though it was cumbersome to fold and put in the car. Got annoyed that it came in 2 parts after a while and now its sitting gathering dust as we use our bugaboo bee all the time now. Wish i had had it from the start as its a 1 fold and so much lighter. Also hated when you fold the Chameleon how everything falls out the basket and we bought the sand base which meant we were never done cleaning it on our UK trip. Just a thought.Oh and dont even bother with the parasol, waste of maoney although we did buy the UV mesh screen and was fine till about 6 months when DD started pulling it off.

We stayed at Traders in centre of KL then walked everywhere or mrt but would also suggest island of Langkawi if you could stomach the internal flight with 2 bubs. We went with Air Asia and found their connections cheap and at good times for us.

Hi, have a look at facebook.com/desertcharms or search for desert charms on facebook (2 diff pages) for my latest range. The picture of the cufflinks is a sample of childrens pictures and of a paw print but can do hand/footprints or your own message in round, square or oval shaped cufflinks. <em>edited by nutty on 10/11/2011</em>

EBF defo best thing for baby but would intoducewaternow at this age.Easier to get them used to it before solids are introduced and may just help things to pass along naturally,
