My bub couldnt move by that time as it really had ran out of space. Good luck for your scan! Labour is something really miraculous and not as bad as you would think. I was terrifeid at the thought of giving birth but when the labour pains started i got really excited, this beautiful being that i had carried, i was at last about to meet! And its not like having a tooth out where you leave in pain, you have this wonderful new person to explore. You have 2 choices, enjoy it or freak out. Choose to tell yourself that each contaction is a step forward to meeting your little miracle and on the plus side it doesnt last forever. Your labour is your time,so make your preferences known to those sharing it with you and enjoy it.

At 10 months my DD slept 8.30am till 11am and then 1pm till 3pm she just stopped doing her tired cues for the 3rd later nap and extended her 2 morning naps . We never changed ner bedtime though as DH doesnt get into 6pm a good day.At 1 year she now sleeps 9.30am till 12.30pm and then maybe 40mins at 4 pm. With eachadjustment i tried to follow her cues IE face rubbing, grumpyness and puther into bed as andwhen. Was pulling my hairout for a week and then it all settled down into her new routine. Goodluck,it can be tough!

Whats the demo setting.Mine plays 4 songs and its face lights up for all of 3 secs, could this be it? Grrrr! there should be a switch at the back to take it off demo or switch to lights only, if like me you are sick of accidentally bumping it on just after DS has gone to sleep. Thanks had a look this morning and cant believe ive missed it, its been washed 100 times!

Dont understand the technical jargon but i've just tested positive 2 days after period was due (no symptoms at all). With DD i tested postivie 1 week before period due (mega breast swelling and tiredness, cramping). They do say every pregnancy is different i guess. Really hope that it all works out for you.

When DD was born we set the temp to 24. She wore a vest, babygro and a swaddle until 6 weeks when she then moved into a 1 tog sleeping bag. At 1 year she now sleeps in a babygro and a 1 tog sleeping bag . They pretty good at letting youknow if your're getting it right or not.

Love NY! Have been many times. Buy a card deal where it gets you admission to several attractions for a fraction of the price. The one we used got us an hour coach trip to Woodbury common outlet (amazing). Prebooked online helicopter tour of statue of liberty and cost us $40/50 each. Get discount theatre tickets from 3pm at times square TKTS booth ( you cant miss it) for shows that night. Dont know about the food though. Remenber going to the Marriott Marque for the buffet which was cheap but the quality was the same. Could also try groupon NYC and NYC 241 etc.

i gave birth to my DD at welcare in march. All went well apart from the epidural. The anethsitist was nowhere to be found when she was needed then when she did appear she had 4 attempts injecting my spine!! i could feel the needle scraping the bones in my back. That was the worst part of the whole pregnancy/birth experience for me. cant remember the name of the Dr but my husband was almost ready to snap had it not worked the 4th attempt. I still have a sore back from time to time also - although i cant prove it was the epidural. My friend ended up with a puntured spinal cord at afore mentioned hospital and the legal team set on her before she had recovered from the birth.

We flew with DD at 4 months and was easier than we expected. We bought a go anywhere blackout blind and made a canopy over the bassinet as another poster suggested and it worked a treat. Some EK aircraftes though you have to stick it to the overhead tv screen as the wall is bumpy. We put DD in a vest and babygro and took a 1tog sleeping bag. Take extra outfits though as we had a few accidents, think it may have been the pressure! Also we checked in our pram and took her in her sling through the airport which let her sleep and left me free hands. Dubai airport really helpful staff when they see you have a baby. Have a great trip.

Sorry not been on for a few days... The bed townhouse that we live in was built 2/3 years ago. District 2G was re;eased then so think your real estate agent is at it! There is an empty one on street 5 villa 6, i think, if you walk past you will hear the chirping of the smoke alarms in the empty villas. The landlord is a saudi national who was asking for something silly but has now brought his prices down as he has a few in the area. The garden is ready lanscaped. We didnt use an agent, we did a leaflet drop in the ones we were interested in and saved ourselves the commission fee.

Hi, we moved into a 2 bed townhouse a few months ago as we had heard about the huge dewa bills and wanted the extra space without the extra expense. So far our dewa bill has been around 1000aed/month and we are expecting it to go down in the winter months. Its true some delivery places wont come here but this doesnt bother us as we dont use this service. Spinneys is a 4 min drive as is the springs town centre with ammenities. We have lovely neighbours with a strong community feel and lots of kids for our LO to play with. The toilets dont flush great with paper. My villa has all the space i need for my family and is a great layout for entertaining. I am very happy with the decision to move here. So far anyway....

I suffer from this chronically and throughout pregnancy was the worst. I avoid dairy products (am lactose intolerant) but these encourage the bacteria somehow and twice daily i use rhinomer strength 3 nasal wash to wash out the sinus on the odd occasion i would use my steriod spray but only if was developing into a sinus infection and i had the bodyaches and fever etc. Hope it gets better soon but stay away fromdairy products.

Get a government health card asap and then a phone call to the ministry of labour to lodge a complaint against them, dont know how far you will get though. Think it may help if you have worked at least 3 years for them.

I did both and loved the pilates for keeping toned as i stopped body pump at 24 weeks due to bump size. I dont like regular Yoga but i did enjoy the prenatal as towards the end when everything became sore and i felt like a whale, it seemed to give me a new lease of life. They also encourage a lot of kegel excercises. I also did the pure fitness classes called blooming fit and loved them as more cardio for someone who is already fit but they can and did alter the excercises for all levels of fitness.

The way i read the comment where Cecile is supposed to have said on cut back the night feeding and encourage more during the day wasn't to deny the child calories he/she may need but rather to increase the daytime calorie consumption so that the night time top is not required and therefore does not keep waking up due to an empty stomach. I did this with my baby IE cluster fed in the afternoons and she slept through the night at 10weeks on BF (with a dreamfeed which we stopped at 6months as she no longer wanted it). Its the getting up several times a night i think is not neccesary. So to me this advice makes perfect sense as from my experience it works. edited by nutty on 04/07/2011

We swaddled until 6 weeks and then used a sleeping bag as she would fight the swaddle. I never did the shush pat thing, i rocked her for the first few days then we gradually reduced that and by the end of the week just plopped her down in her bed after saying goodnight to "Mr Sunshine" and a cuddle in the dark,a kiss and a goodnight as i legged it out of the room. It was one ofthehardest weeks that i have ever had BTW, sometimes she would cry hard and others she would just go off but we stuck with it and it really paid off for us.

It took sometime to get into but i would pace the floor waiting for her to get up, the downside was she preferred to nap at home so getting things done outside the house was a challenge but all in i would rather have it that way.... Another of my friends who did the same routine her 7 month still sleeps 4 hours in day and 12h at night so not just my DD. My DD at 10months has 3 hours in the day and 12h at night.

60muscles to BF apperently and only 4 to bottle feed but i always changed DD's nappy once she was finished feeding and then puther down otherwise i was scared she would always need me to help her go to sleep and thats one habit i didn't want to enter into. Some babies tag their first morning sleep onto their night sleep so my DD would eat at 7am then sleep till 9.30ish then start EASY but rightup until 7months she slept 6 hours in the day and 12hours at night, just adapt easy to fit with your baby though sounds like you are off to a fabulous start.

My point wasnt to dimiss your friends experience with Cecile just that there are so many people that have had good experiences with her it seems wrong to badmouth her when the comments were not heard by you first hand although im sure your friend wouldn't lie to you but everyone hears what they want and since you dont speak of your own experience then best not to repeat something on hearsay.

Sounds like you timed it just right, go on! If you he is only sleeping at 40mins at a time it could mean thathe is overtired when you are putting himdown and that is why he is unable to go through to the next sleepcycle and why it may become EASAE instead of EASY. If you can identify his sleep cues ie my DD used to sneeze then 5/10mins later stare off then came the face rub if i didn't get her down then the yawn would come and all heck would break loose as she would be overtired and sleep less time. If he is smiling at you in the cot dont react, as hard as it is when theyare all adorable. He is looking for reaction, stick to your routine and extend it till he is sleepy. We never used a dummy, i am way to lazy to keep getting up to put it back in just showed DD her fist and now thumb and she only sucks it when she is trying to settle herself.

she should reduce the number of night feeds- only one dream feed and no more till morning (because babies dont need food to grow!!!) At 7months why is your friend still feeding during the night? Think Cecile is right on this one. As for the rest of it,unless you heard it from Cecile, wouldn't believe everything you hear.

Your question is not clear. If she does cry then i know what it is for unlikethe early days when the cries all sounded thesame. Cecilehelped me to leard the difference in them. I have a big spirited happy little girl who has all her needs met and i am thankfull to cecile for showing me how. Hope this clears up any confusion.
