I'm interested, my DD is 12 months. Let's do it, I feel like I'm the only cloth mum in the world here in DXB. People look at me like I'm an alien when I tell them it's a washable nappy:) Yeiiiiiii we're three now! Come on ladies!!!! Do I hear mum no.4? :)

How is life with a toddler and a baby? Are you going to any of the bumps and babes meetings - if Nappycino doesn't happen soon we may catch up there :)

DS will be 8 months soon and using cloth nappies as well txjuliet Would be lovely to be able to chat with other ladies using different nappy brands or just think about using them. I think having another Nappycino organized is a great idea. It's due to one of Greenish's Nappycino that I took the cloth nappies path and never looked back. Still love using them after almost 8 months.

This is another chapter that will pass ...and another one will come. When my DS did this I used to sit on the side of the bed next to his cot while he was asleep and just make sure he can still breathe. (sigh)I didn't really sleep for 4-5 nights and took turns with my DH. As soon as his neck support was good enough for him to move his head on the side and not have his nose and mouth on the bed I knew he was ok and went back to sleep. I didn't find any other solution to the problem those days. The good news is now at 7 1/2 months I got my 4th consecutive full night sleep. So there is hope!!!! Hang on there.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!! Wonderful time for you and your husband but sometimes it gets a little bit hard because of all the changes you need to make. I found out I was pregnant with my DS when he was 7 weeks already. I have been smoking a pack of cigarettes and drinking a glass of wine per day while going out until that day. I gave up my wine imediatelly but it was hard with the cigarettes. My DH( who is still a smoker) just took my pack of cigarettes away. What I did first few days was to take my DH cigarette when I was getting desperate and have a puff but without breathing in. Just the habit of holding it and the taste of it made it a little bit better. The moment we went for a scan and I saw the little bub and heard the heart beat I knew it I can not do anything that can harm him. It wasn't about me anymore and was about another life now. With smokers it's a bit funny. They don't listen to anyone so I think YOU need to decide and just give up Completely! One. two, three or a pack per day it's the same. Now my DS is 7 months old healthy child. Didn't smoke a cigarette since 1 year and 4 months. Still feel like having one with a glass of wine but really happy I cut it out of my life for my son. I coudn't have done it just for myself. Sorry I didn't read what stage of pregnancy you are but it's never too late to give up when you decide. Nobody else can do it for you. During the pregnancy the reality of another life doesn't sink in for a while. Maybe if you hear a heart beat, see the bub, read about the harm smoking can do may help you decide to give up. Pregnancy it's just the first chapter of learning that you need to first think about your baby and than about yourself. It's all worth in the end. Good luck with giving up. Positive vibes coming your way.

Did my DH/ DS matching T-shirts in Dubai Mall - ground floor. On the DH's I wrote 'Pint' and DS's 'Half Pint'. They were so cute... Since it's a little early for this message and strange if it's a girl :) maybe somthing saying 'World's best dad' or 'Dad/ father in training' edited by pancakemum on 10/01/2011
