It would appear that the flight will be via Larnaca twice a week so if you can be flexible with your dates you could avoid Tunis. http://www.independent.com.mt/articles/2016-02-01/company-news/Emirates-resumes-flights-to-Cyprus-twice-weekly-6736152632

Its all down to preference. We reasoned that a cot would last longer and bought a cot for our first child. Then when the second one came along he was still in it so we had to decide between another cot or a moses basket. We decided to go for the moses basket as it could be moved from one room to another easily, could get it on rocking stand and would give the first child a little bit more time to grow into a toddler bed and it worked out perfectly. The basket was smaller and felt cosier and when the little one grew out of the basket her brother was ready for the toddler bed.

Thank you so much! I had no idea what to ask and look for as I´ve only used well known companies before. This is supposedly a new and small company but at least now I can make sure everything is legal.

My agency maid has changed company and I would like her to keep on coming to clean but I would like to make sure the new company is actually a company to avoid any trouble. Does anyone know how I can check this? Will the company have some paperwork they should be able to show me or do they have some sort of registration number that I can check out with the authorities?

I dont know which non profit school you have an offer from but the one my children attends (DESS) has lots of Emirates children but also many many others. So if its DESS dont worry about it!

How well do you know Cedre? The new villas are just outside the previous perimeter walls of both phase 1 and 2 as far as I can see (in the direction towards Academic City road). Im not sure how to access the ones outside phase 1 but the ones by phase 2 are accessed through the "old" gate through E and F block. ETA: Cant help you when it comes to brokers but I was under the impression that the "old" Cedre Villas were all rented out and sold by DSO themselves. Check https://www.dsoa.ae/en/ edited by Pupa on 23/02/2015

When I was asked to chaperone my DD´s FS2 class outing all parents had a short meeting before we left and we were informed to stop anyone trying to take photos of the kids and to advice the teachers if they didnt stop so please dont assume all teachers/schools are the same.

After some fussing I have decided to change my liver doctor and see Dr. Abdullah Fayyad at American Hospital but when I called to make an appointment it turns out he doesnt take any new cases as he´s leaving! Is anyone seeing him? Do you know if he´s leaving Dubai or just changing hospital? Or can you recommend another liver specialist? TIA!

I know its lots to take in a the roadshows and I didnt mean to sound rude, I just wanted to point out what I found to be fair from the employers part when it appeared that you were surprised that you'd have to pay for the insurance. Im not sure how much we pay per month for our healthinsurance (as they deduct it from DHs pay) but its discounted and definately less than we would have paid had we taken out the insurance with another insurer. With it we can go to EK clinic and other hospitals too so help is quick and easy. Also pre-existing conditions are now covered after two years probation, I didnt find another insurance that did that so the scheme is definately a good one. Good luck!

I dont know where you attended roadshow but im quite sure it was mentioned in the one we attended. Personally I think you cant expect the company to pay medical insurance for the whole family of an employee (your DH is covered by the company)

If Visa for Oman is what you are asking about vixter, they dont need it for a visa run as they are not exiting, just going and coming on the same flight.

our HB used Fly Dubai for his visa run late december 2011. Their call centre said they allow visa run on two (if i remember correctly) routes, one of them being Muscat as that is where our HB went. What you have to look out for is the fact that if you pay with creditcard and not travelling yourself you have to provide a copy of it (and possibly some other info too, again, I cant remember exactly). Their call centre was friendly and helpful though so just give them a call!

doesn't need to be fancy!! just child friendly :) hey even fatburger will do! Then I´d give Spurs a try, they have a small playarea where the kids keep happy while waiting for the food and they have a cool icecream for the kids, its like a clown with the cone being the hat etc. DH and I love meat so we are happy there too. Their steaksalad is really good :)

I would suggest getting one where your child can put his/her feet up, found that its helping a lot to prepare them for riding proper bike when they cant keep their feel just above ground. We have one like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/30-5cm-Learner-Balance-Beginner-Classic/dp/B004LUQ1YY/ref=sr_1_2?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1328419602&sr=1-2 and its been great.
