Sorry the website is www.primauae.com . Facebookpage is prima Performing Arts ! Thank you, I found it! I think this is our best option as the others are form 3 years old. I'll also pop into Kidsville to find out what they actually do in the class as it's quite a lot of money for the Autumn term.

Have you tried Max? They had lots of cotton dresses for about 34dhs. The quality isn't bad, the fabric is nice and light and they have washed well! I thought Babyshop fabric quality was terrible too, and the dresses seemed quite heavy! I also picked up a few yesterday in H&M. Hope that helps.

There has been some good advice on here already but just to add. I went to the Arte fair at TS a couple of weeks ago with DH and our little one. We had ordered some gorgeous little sun catchers to collect from a stall so that was our main reason for popping along. We browsed the stalls whilst we were there and were overwhelmed by the number of jewellery, bakery and art stands. We also felt like we were pounced on every time we stopped to look and I hate that when shopping, I prefer to be given my space and time to look before deciding what or if we will purchase. I have connected with a lot of crafters through FB and Twitter and purchase from them that way rather than attending numerous fairs. I hope it all starts to pick up for you.

A friend of mine is a nanny over here who doesn't live with the family so it must be possible. I imagine she is costly as are any other western nannies over here. I feel your frustration JShepherd. I have chosen not to work here and stay at home with my daughter because we couldn't afford a western nanny and I really don't like the idea of a maid looking after my little girl, particularly due to the level of English a lot of them have. Plus my DH and I wouldn't want someone living in our home. I've joined the Fairy Godmother group too but not been able to make any groups. I think they are struggling on the Godmother side a little bit which is such as a shame as it's a great idea in theory. Hi Rachel, is your friend the Nanny looking for some work? Or does she have a job already? I'd be v intested obvioulsy if she shoud be looking for anything :) Where abouts are you? I'm gald its not just me... I struggle to leave my dogs with my HB let alone my lo's lol. I think its because I have liver her a LONG time and I know there is just not the smae logical way of thinking here and that scares me!!! No she has a job with a wonderful family so no plans to leave them sorry! I'm in JBR. We have only been here about 8 months and after looking at options when I first arrived, I realised work wasn't feasible for me. We have a part time maid who is brilliant at cleaning and clearly adores my lo but her English is minimal and I'm just not comfortable leaving her with someone who isn't able to understand me fully!

I've picked up a few toys in Baby Shop, Geant and Carrefour that were quite cheap. Mostly just stoking fillers and a few doll bits for my daughter. NN- we have been searching for a wooden kitchen here too but have ended up buying the cottage kitchen in ELC. Paid 999dhs (I think) and recently saw it in the UK sale for £100. Quite annoying! We looked at the Ikea one too, but like you chose not to get it. It wasn't as cute as the ELC one.

How old is she? I've bought a few pretty dresses for my LO here and she will be 17 months. They were from- Gap http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=6436&vid=1&pid=868632, H&M http://www.hm.com/gb/product/94769?article=94769-C#article=94769-D Gymboree (not on the website but a tartan red dress) My mum has bought her a couple too which I'll pick up in a couple of weeks when I head back to the UK, I'll find out where from and see if they stock them here if that helps?

I have a 10 month old girl, we live in JBR and have a few other mummy and baby friends around here and the Marina. Feel free to email me if you want to meet up with us, we try and do lots of indoor activities with the little ones as it's getting hot now! rachelhhewson at gmail dot com. Look forward to meeting you soon ladies. Marina Mums usually starts at 4:30pm and I believe that last week was the last outdoor play session before the group move indoors- nothing has been sent to us for this week yet though.

I tried the Benefit brightening eye cream when my daughter was a newborn and I suffered a severe lack of sleep. I also use Touche Eclat as a quick cover up fix every time I get disturbed sleep and have found both products wrk wonders!
