Turn out from AR take 1st ditty right and loop round onto Emirates Road (Jebel Ali Direction).. now that there is no Sports City R/A you will have to carry on to Greens Community huge R/A, go all the way round then come back down onto Emirates Road. Then there is a turning on your right to Victory Heights :-)

As a resident of Layan I would like to point out that there are most definately id**ts coming from both Layan & Waha as experienced myself just yesterday.... I am sure that all communities are the same... some bother for there own and other peoples safety and some are just in too much of a rush to care!! I drive mega distances everyday and would like think that I never find it that imperitive to 'get in front' while 'illegally' having to turn off or onto the bypass or any other turning...

Our garden was 10k to landscape, with lawn and flowerbeds etc... It seems that there are a few of us ladies in Layan and Waha... maybe we should meet up when you move in! :)

Also on the plus side we have a maintainance team on site, so one call and they are round to 'fix' :-) and also do not see many kids at the basketball court, the only prob I could see would be the floodlights from it.... <em>edited by roysie on 08/11/2011</em>

OK so lets say that you have looked at ones very close to me!! Yes our upstairs balcony over looks the road but from the garden really is no prob.... We have spent a lot of time and money on our garden as yes it was a sand pit when we moved in as no one had lived here before. Hi, I assume you were only looking at the 4 beds if all 5 were on the bypass side..... I live in a 3 bed villa and we are further along (on the slip road to Motorcity) and traffic is really no prob at all. Lived here 2 years and love it. There are a couple of 3 beds empty but unsure if available??

If you enter the mall by 'the top'... walk past Bloomingdales Home with it on your left, past the photo/canvas booth and take the 1st left into the thiner mall walk I am sure it is just up there a little bit on the ride side. I am not 100% sure but pretty sure... I went 2 weeks ago to that Mall. There is also one of her shops in Mercato Mall on the Beach Road. :-)

I googled it too and didnt really understand. My take on it is that for example a married woman of 35 who has been with the same partner for the last 15 years is less lightly to have had this HPV virus than a say 26 year old woman who has had 5/6 different partners in the last 15 years... everyone is so different.... so surely if we are willing to pay.... we should be able to have the vaccine?? what do you think?

It was 2 years ago now...we gave all our paperwork to our PRO as there are forms that need to be completed by the employer. He then gave back the form etc and I went down to the medical centre gave in the form and copy passport and about 300 dirhams, had the medical done and then they told me when to go back for the results etc.

There is a quiet medical test centre next to Welcare in Media City. If you can get there at 8am when it opens, it will be so quick... I did mine by myself and I am not good with situations like that either. ;)

Or even if they dont have the same brand you can find out what drug name and they will match for you. They are around 25 dirhams a pack... you dont even have to ask for them. They are there on the shelf with the ibruprofen in most chemists :-)

Hi, I used to live in Muscat before I moved to Dubai... I absolutely loved it there and never wanted to move! Regarding being safe, god yes very safe you have no worries there. It is very sleepy compared to Dubai and the majority of people who live there are locals and not expat like Dubai. Although there is a strong community of westerners there, so easier to make friends. It is a very well run and beautiful country and where I like to return often! WWW.GPW-OMAN.COM are brilliant... take a look on their website for all areas not only the wave. You can pay your DEWA bill at any Enoc gas station as long as you have the premises number from the bill... so easy, thats how I always pay. :-)
