Rather than buying one yourself from the Pharmacy, wouldn't it be better to visit a Gyne and have her recommend what will be best for you? I had done the same.. she did the necessary scans/tests/queries and then in the follow up visit she conducted the procedure with the IUD that is readily available in the hospital itself. The entire procedure and IUD was charged at 800dhs at Garhoud Private Hospital (which may have cost more than the smaller clinics but I didn't want to visit any other doctor)

My father had a heart procedure in City hospital.. and ever since the change in management recently, their service has become so poor! When he was being taken for the procedure.. there was so much confusion and the papers/reports were not in the file.. for a moment i felt that they were taking the wrong patient because the doctor kept questioning that what is the diagnosis!.. i refused to let my father go into the OT and told them to show me all the documents to ensure it was complete! Well it was Not! So i told them that they need to get all his recent reports attached before he goes in so that the doctor knows what was his last month's history! Even the surgeon (who was the only one acting professional) was annoyed and i was soooo tensed at the last moment and afraid that these guys would just operate him for something else and create more trouble! Oh and yes City Hospital is obsessed with Insurance.. they took more than 15 hours to get the approval and paper work completed.. we waited from morning 8 am until evening 7 pm!!!!
Similar pathetic experience with my mother's MRI.. after waiting for a month they gave her an MRI Appointment and then when she went to see the doctor 2 weeks post-MRI, all he said was she is fine,... take her to the ENT and oh the ENT is full so wait another 2 weeks! I eventually took her to Garhoud Private Hospital and she got treated within 2 days!!
Also do take care of your diet.. my mother in law ensured i had all my meals in a liquid format for atleast the first 2 months after delivery.. lots of chicken and lamb soups, dry fruits and herbs.. and this really helped me to increase my breast milk supply.. plus my baby would always want to suckle since he would not get enough milk and despite a hard c-section, i took the pain of letting him latch on and suckle for a long time whenever he demanded it.. tht too really helped!
Well yes u have paid them for their services... but as an appreciation for their kindness, you can have a decorated basket of chocolates and cupcakes in your room or one kept at the nursing station.. thats what i did..
I had one of the most complicated surgeries and ended up staying for more than a week at the hospital.. my doctor was really supportive the whole time and i gifted her a Marks & Spencer gift basket of body wash, perfume, lotions etc.. at first i was thiinking of gifting her gold or silver studs but then realised that ethically it would be very inappropriate to gift a very expensive item so if u really feel tht she deserves one, then give something that would not compromise with her work ethics..
And i gifted it to her on the follow up appointment after discharge in her clinic.. so that she doesn't need to carry it alllll the way out of the ward and feel awkward (just in case!)
