Hello ladies, Sorry for the late reply. According to the RERA calculator our rent increase should be 31k in 2015. The LL is asking for 40k for this spring when our contract expires but did not give us 90 days notice. Anyway they can't raise our rent until our 2 years is up so we should be safe for now. DH sent them a letter and we haven't gotten a response yet. HorizonMum2: I think we will be here until 2015 but will let u know if anything happens. 220 is a lot for sheikh ahmed villas! I remember when a 3 bedroom was 150k. Ugh.... let's see if these prices continue to rise.

I used her after I was diagnosed with PCOS. After a few months of seeing her my cycles became more regular and I started ovulating. I still wasn't getting pregnant so she asked me to get my husband tested and we found out he had low count. She really is great support to have when you are trying to conceive so it doesn't hurt to try her for a session and see what you think! I saw another doctor for acupuncture in a fancy clinic in healthcare city and Dr. Ou was so much better than her. She really knows a lot about fertility. I would highly recommend her.

Hi Happyday: I went to Sri Lanka last December with DH and a 6 month old for 11 days. We went for a friends wedding in Colombo so we stayed there for most of our trip because they had lots of events we had to go to. We were planning on going to the elephant orphanage but changed our minds and just went to Unawatuna beach and Galle for 3 days. We hired a driver from our hotel in Colombo and he stayed with us in during our trip to Galle. Most hotels have driver accommodation so they stay with you during the trip. You can just give your driver a call whenever you want to go out which is great. I would suggest just visiting 2 places if you are only going for 6 days. Traffic there is terrible and you don't want to spend all your time on the road. I When we went to colombo there was a small strip mall next to the cinnamon grand hotel. There is a cell phone shop where you can get a tourist sim card with phone credit and 1 month data for about 10 dollars. That was really helpful when we needed to call our driver at the beach and to check emails and facebook. =) When we went to Galle we stayed at Thaproban Beach house which was recommended by our sri lankan friends. It was such a lovely hotel and I think we paid around 80 dollars per night including breakfast! I am just waiting to go back!! In Colombo we went to an AMAZING Thai restaurant in the cinnamon lakeside. I had two unforgettable meals there and it was super cheap compared to dubai. Our waiter and many other hotel staff in colombo use to work in Dubai and recently moved back because of the growth in tourism in Sri lanka. We have traveled to so many countries and Sri lanka is just so different. It really is a hidden gem and such a beautiful country. The people are so friendly, the food is delicious (if you like spicy) and everything is so reasonably priced! You will have a great time no matter what you choose to do!

Hi Happy. I'm also looking for an all inclusive 5 star hotel in Maldives that is toddler friendly. So far I have found Lily beach to be the best one but there is also Constance Moofushi. LIly beach has a playground and more facilities for children but they are both all inclusive and child friendly with good ratings. Asti- How did you like the food at Lily Beach?

I know you don't have much time to order online but if you have another occasion definitely check out etsy.com. They have EVERYTHING from leg warmers, tutu's and headbands and some sellers will ship overseas. :) edited by Sal 123 on 19/05/2013

I have seen Dr. Badi before and I totally agree with CandiceH about her rushing and being cold. Anyway I ended up seeing Dr. Rosalie Sant for most of my pregnancy. She was extremely professional and also took her time during my appointments. I was very happy with her and will definitely be seeing her again for my next pregnancy!

Why don't you make some at home. it just takes 2-3 hours and will be much better then buying from the stores. You can freeze them into 2oz portions and use them when needed. Chicken Stock Recipe: 14 cups cold water 3-4 pounds chicken pieces (cut up breasts, drumsticks, and/or thighs) 3 large carrots, chopped & peeled 2 onions, peeled 4 garlic cloves 2 bay leaves 2 or more shakes of coarse ground black pepper Combine water, chicken, carrots, onions, garlic and greens in a large pot or crock-pot over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Skim the foam from the top and reduce to low heat. Cook for 2 hours on low heat. Strain and skim throughout the simmer. When finished and cool the fat will become visible on top; remove it with a spoon.

Hi Mols, At home I usually warm and defrost DD food on the stovetop. Sometimes I use the microwave to reheat but only for 30 seconds on low power. When I go out I usually just take yogurt or something simple like avocado or a puree of butternut squash since it doesn't have to be so hot. Sometimes if I'm in a restaurant I will ask for hot water to warm up her food a bit but it can get messy. For storage I use the beaba multi-portion storage freezer containers. They are pricey but all you need is one. After I freeze her food I will pop them out the following day and put them all in a freezer bag and tie it. When DD was 6-8 months I would give her only 1 portion(1/4cup) for lunch and dinner. She is almost 9 months old now and I have started giving her 2 portions for each meal. HTH!

Thank you ladies for the helpful comments. mks: DD used to take a bottle when I would pump BM so I don't think that's the problem. Kiwispiers: I still havent gotten my period and I feel like even if i did get pregnant while bfing it will be even more stressful to stop. I will try feeding her tomorrow with some banana puree and stage 1 formula and see if that works. Do you suggest that I feed her early in the morning or some other time of the day. Everyone says I should wait until she is really hungry. It's so hard watching your baby cry just because they want to nurse. Makes me feel selfish. I just hope I can do this! mols:Are you still nursing or have you stopped completely? Do you know where I can find this formula? I only saw regular Aptamil stage 1 at the pharmacy and spinneys.

My daughter will be 9 months old next week and I would like to start weaning her off my breast. I want to start trying for another baby and don't want to continue Bfing for the next 3 months. She is having solids 3 times a day and I only plan on feeding 16 oz-20oz of formula day. I tried to give her formula when she was 7 months old but she start coughing and screaming and would not drink it so I felt horrible and didn't try again. I know a few moms that gave their babies cows milk at 9-10 months with vitamin drops. I don't feel very comfortable doing this but just wanted to know if anyone else has experience with cows milk before their baby is 12 months old. In the US it is recommended to start cows milk at 12 months. I heard from a friend that babies in europe can continue formula until 2? I also was wondering if anyone would recommend a formula here that tastes similar to breast milk. I was thinking about buying HIPP follow on milk but then I read that it is really sweet and that I should use regular formula instead. Can anyone recommend another brand I can try? I would really appreciate any advice. I am just overwhelmed with the amount of information I have found on the internet and also feel really guilty about my decision. Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Hi Sparkly- I also got back from the states 10 days ago with a 6 month old. She has always been on a good schedule and slept through the night. It took her about a week to get back to her normal routine. After we arrived, she slept the first 2 nights around 12am and woke up around 11:30 am, so I thought she had already adjusted back to her schedule. The 3rd night she managed to stay awake until 8am and slept til 5. (Awake for almost 24 hours with an hour nap!) This continued for 3 nights. Each night she would sleep an hour or 2 earlier and I made sure she didn't take any long naps later in the day. Her schedule is finally fixed. I thought it was never going to end. just give it a few more days and I'm sure everything will be back to normal. Good luck!! edited by Sal 123 on 17/11/2012

Hi Mnmz, I had a C section in May with Dr. Rosalie. My scar is barely noticeable and healed very well. She is very kind and professional and I plan to keep her as my doctor for all my pregnancies. Her clinic is in Healthcare city and she can deliver at City and American Hospital. Good Luck! She also delivers at Welcare. I believe she used to work there. edited by Sal 123 on 09/09/2012

I live in Sulafa tower on the 40th floor. The alarm goes off all the time and we usually ignore it because it gets turned off right away. Unfortunately this time it had to be a real fire. I just gave birth 2 weeks ago and am still recovering from a c section. It was so scary walking down the stairwell and smelling smoke with a newborn baby in my arms. =( Just so glad that everyone made it out safely.

I heard about City being unorganized and chaotic during the post natal care. But I also heard so many great things from patients. I was still hesitant about choosing this hospital but decided to go on a tour and see it for myself. I remember calling City and asking to be transferred to the maternity ward because I wanted to schedule a tour. I spoke to a nurse who started coughing directly into the phone right after she said hello. She didn't even put me on hold and it lasted a good 5 seconds and then she just said excuse me. It wasn't a normal cough either, she sounded sick, so after that I just thought to myself, no thank you and chose American. :) edited by Sal 123 on 04/04/2012

Just looking for a nice relaxing getaway. the Spa would have been a plus but it won't ruin my trip if I'm not allowed in. So we will see what they say. Cakes: Congrats :) How is the pregnancy coming along. Is this your first? JC11- This offer was available last week on living social and it just returned again. As soon as I received the voucher I signed on to the banyan tree website and entered the voucher code. I did this at about 7am the next morning because I wanted to make sure the dates I wanted would be available. HTH!
