I came out on a return because the return was marginally cheaper than a single!! It means I now always buy my tickets in UK which is way cheaper than buying in Dubai. It does mean you have to specify a return date in advance but most tickets will allow you to change dates for a small fee, I always check I can do this before purchasing. I used to do this, and yes it was alot cheaper. May start to do this again.

I love and use Spinney for the meat, veg and Pork section, everything else I would normally go to carrefour. Only just moved back to the UAE, so we have to restock the cupboards with everything, so yes I have noticed we have spent a fortune the last week.

Dubai have never asked me to see a return ticket, but my friend was asked once. Whereas leaving the UK maybe a different story, as I get asked each and everytime if I have a return..... I do believe in time a return ticket will be needed, but as yet, no you dont.

We have just moved back to the UAE on Friday, fuel prices were half the price in Qatar compared to here... Yes fuel is cheap here, but for how long..... Some people commute and travel lots of miles per day, so it will become expensive to fill up.. I was only saying recently what will the government do to increase its revenue, never thought of fuel...

Completely wrong. No one should even attempt to kiss your child, and as for taking pictures, that's just creepy....

I have been pulled like this in the current there. What is the point of having a life guard if he is not allowed to enter the pool unless someone is drowning......If these two young lads were having difficulty the surely the life guard should of stepped in... I agree the parents should be blamed initially for non supervision. Sadly this happens all the time.

I bought a sim card a couple weeks ago. I was informed that its valid for 3 months as a tourist, then I suppose I can get it converted to long term use once I have my residency. I bought mine in arrivals at T3. Du had no credit so I had to walk across to the flower stall as they sell credit top up there. You can also purchase top up for data if you require.

If the kids get the school bus then JLT would be suitable for you and hubby to get to work. The only downside is that apartment living can be a bore to kids, but at least JLT has some great outdoor space and park.

My DD stopped smoking the day she found out she was pregnant, and hasn't returned to smoking either, which is brilliant. My DD and a friend were pregnant at the same time and her friend smoked and drank alcohol.... Its frowned upon today by society, but as others have said it's not our business.

I bought 3 tickets from a lady in Doha, at present I only have the web print out and not the actual tickets. When sold to me I think they were third hand. Starting to worry as its for my Grand-daughters belated birthday gift. How do you know she hasn't sold the print out to others? That would freak me out. Its all sorted, she has the tickets for me, just need to collect.

I'm taking a four and six year old and am beginning to worry, thought I bought seated but it looks like I've got silver standing. Anyone have expirence with concerts at sevens? Where to park? What time should you get there if you have kids in tow? Im in Bronze if you want to swap as its seated, I can pay the difference in cost, as my GD would prefer to stand. Let me know. Im thinking the same as you, haven't got a clue what time it starts of finishes.

I used them only once as they had the cheapest flights are the time. The only problem I think is that the tickets were bought were fully restricted, so no changes at all.

Daza, are you going? you had a think for Harry didn't you? or am i confusing you with someone else? I sure am going, I'll be the sad old woman screaming louder than my children. Although I'm sure I won't be the only one ;) Daza, I'm trying to buy a ticket for myself (middle age lady) but my dh & ds are refusing to go....if you're in bronze section and I manage to get a ticket would you consider letting me tag along with you - or at least meet at the venue to sit together.....Won't be offended if you say no :) Audrey I am going and in Bronze, tag with me no problem...

I have not received the tickets yet!!!! is this normal. It's a real special treat as I am flying her in from the UK to see them. Any help and advice is much appreciated. Apparently if you are just renewing you do not need it counter signed now. UK passports use DHL and will give you a discounted rate for sending thru them.
