Just seems everything lately makes me stress out, I'm always ranting and raving, this just isn't me at all. Could that be the Summer though? Everyone i know is fed up at the moment and it is usual this time of year. I yearn for the UK but know if i do go back i would be equally miserable plus it hasn't stopped raining I do miss Dubai pre 2008 though :-) Heading to UK in 3 weeks, prob be miserable there as well, nothing pleases me at the moment. Grrrrr...... I could give myself a slap.

I renewed my passport recently, the last pic I used was when I was around 24, my true age was 34, had no initial problems until about 12 months ago, wherever I used my passport I was questioned all the time. 10 years does make a difference. My new pic is awful. Lol

After spending the day with feline friends, and sitting with so many wonderful people, that do so much for the cats. I'm so upset you adopted from FF and you now want to home your beautiful cats!!!! When you signed the adoption paperwork, you signed to say that you were giving a forever home?????? Now you have a baby, you no longer want your beloved cats, so sorry to say this, but I am sick and tired of hearing the same old line.

It would be so easy to design a car that makes you hit a button 3, 4 or 5 times to indicate how many ppl are traveling today, and then you cannot turn off the engine until you hit that button again a number of times…..then you would look back to see how many kids are with you. Excellent idea.

I wouldn't trust Du, as I asked if my phone can roam, was told yes, when I got to my destination, my phone was not permitted to make calls as Du locked my phone, was so angry. DD has a 3 sim card, you can buy credit and then choice a package to suit you.

As I've said time and time again, if you have really curly hair, these treatments simply do not work. The only way to really straighten your hair is to have it chemically rebonded. Otherwise it's a waste of time and money. Hey chocs, what is chemically rebounded method?? Be good to know, thanks Basically look at it like a reverse perm, instead of curling it, you're straightening it. The chemicals used actually break the bonds in the hair, then they are re-programmed straight as it were. It's permanent and lasts until that section of hair grows out. You can normally get away with doing it twice a year, so your hair isn't over treated. I'm giving my hair a break right now as I'm embracing the waves, but when I do straighten it, this is what I have done. To be honest, this is what I thought they had done?? Oh I really don't know, lol

This reminds me of a thread a couple of years ago where a poster was leaving Dubai. She asked EWers if they'd donate their Skywards miles to her so she could upgrade for free and enjoy a bigger baggage allowance :) ETA It didn't [i'>remind[/i'> me of a previous thread, I thought about a previous thread whilst reading this one. edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 28/06/2012 I remember that thread, made me laugh.

Only joined EW a year after landing, met some great people, in the exact order, Jude ( not EW user) we still friends, I call her stinky (dont ask) Shazman, awwww still friends, don't see much of each other, but when we do, it's like we seen each other yesterday, TashaB, ( wipe and clean the floor with mop, and push u aside) Captain Jacky, god when you were made they got rid of the mould, your are the bestiest, met afew inbetween, had to delete some from FB, as I really can't deal it's the two faced scenario, but it's ok, it's a learning curve. In time gone by, **** has happened, but I cope, I put a brave face on, and let the gossip mungers, do their stuff, ive got thick skin, just really wanted to say EW was my saviour and at times, still is. been such a bad year so far, can't see any bright light only can live in hope.

You shouldn't use antibiotics for flu!!! That is true, but there are circumstances where it may be necessary. I always need to take antibiotics at some stage because I am a high risk person. Maybe the OP's husband is also at risk of bronchitis/pneumonia. I spent 5 days in ICU last year with pneumonia, I can assure you, it is not fun! This http://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/features/antibiotics-for-flu may explain the use of antibiotics for flu better than what I can. Fair point, but so many people take the wrong meds, for the wrong reasons.
