Wendyone, you are the only one that can do all the donkey work yourself. The internet is a wonderful and exciting place, have a look. You need to search and find the right location, as you are the only know that will know if it is suitable.

Hi JC, I had a look at the website and am a little concerned that they use a paypal account for all payments (not their own merchant page). However, if your husband paid via Paypal he can maybe go down that route and lodge a complaint, as his account will show who he sent the payment to. However, it's a very badly designed website with a lot of speech on how wonderful they are and how your money is safe. Hmmm....I would keep trying to contact them but also look at reporting them. Nt sure to whom, but I'm sure some of the ladies on here know of which authority to report to. Bless your DH for ordering the flowers...lovely thought. X Doesn't the municipality deal with this kind of stuff???? Hope you get your money back.

My hubby worked away Monday - Friday for alot of years, sometime worked abroad for months on end too. It was really difficult for us as a family, and I felt I brought up two girls as a single parent. Hubby went off to work when our youngest was 3 months old and returned when she was going to secondary school. Such a very long time, and at times as a married couple out bond became weaker. I would think very hard about the family separating. Good luck with you decision thou.

I have lived here nearly 4 years, and still love it. I have had some terrible times adjusting when I first arrived, meeting new people was so hard, but I look back now and its seems a life time ago. I visit home often, but so miss Dubai and can't wait to rush back. I think I will always want to be an Ex-Pat, cannot even think about returning to the UK, well not for the forseeable future anyway.

I also adopted a cat through FF over 3 years ago, and still foster and help when I can. You may find the donation asked for is due to the cat being a fluffy/ Persian, please bare in mind that even if you paid for all the cats vaccs, neutering, and so forth, it would cost you around 1200dhs. FF are a none profit organisation and without the help of the volunteers FF just wouldn't cope. So donations are key. Pet shops sell Persian or pure breeds between 8,000 and 12,000dhs by the way. Think you have a bargain with your foster baby

I cant book directly with EK either, have my DD and Lo's coming, so I booked via Expedia on an EK flight. EK will let you book a relative as long as you have the same surname. I know I know, It all doesn't make sense.

It was your special night, and you should been able to pick and choose, they were far to selfish to even consider your feelings, their loss. Pick yourself up, brush yourself down, and just forget about them, as they aren't worth worrying about. I am sure your wedding day will be very special, congrats and have a long happy marriage. x

I was informed yesterday by an agent that LL's are now refusing to allow dogs / pets in their properties, make sure you have permission first. Personally I wouldn't have a dog here, as its not really a pet friendly place. Just my opinion thou.

We save a certain amount per month. DH is the only earner here, both of us are not spenders, I hate shopping, so it's a massive bonus. DH keeps me in check and asks each month if we have saved as planned. Our outgoings each month is the same. DD car is paid off in April so more to add to the pot. My only down side is that we pay for flights for immediate family, so the costs can be quite high. I spoil the grandchildren at Xmas and Birthdays, and always buy the school uniforms.

I received a call on 30th of December, my mum rang and broke the news my cousin in Canada was brutally murdered, he was 27, a typically family guy and everyone adored him. I booked packed and set off, returned only yesterday. I always thought the UK system was far to soft, the person that killed my cousin ( Corey ) has been let out on Bail till 8th Feb, not sure why. When the call came in I nearly fell to my knees. Corey went to the aid for two youngsters being bullied and sadly was in the wrong place wrong time. The police did not expect the murderer to be be set free on bail, was told he had to leave and abode with his parents in BC until the next court hearing. The way the system works, it looks to me Corey meant nothing to anyone in society. So upset by whats happened. Im sure no one has the right and wrong answer, just felt the need to share. Im no expert, but surely Corey

well, you've got a problem ... isn't there a saying that idleness is the work of the devil or something? The first thing I would do is put her through "maid's bootcamp" - give her an impossibly long list of work to do and check to see how much she gets done. My housekeepers help me - whenever I need it ... Last night, that meant helping me give medicine to a sick baby at 1am and then being up at 5am to look after said baby while I went horse riding. Today will be a bit quieter since we are all tired, but they will still help during the day and won't go to bed until dinner is finished and cleaned up. You are getting taken advantage of - paying fulltime for parttime help and that will have to stop before your new baby comes. You go horse riding whilst your child is sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFS.... and need your maid to administer medicine, how heavy is a spoon of Calpol?????
