I go to Dr. Grace at Dubai Mall love her !! just a warning dont go to Dr. Sujata who is based there I had to go in for an emergency appointment since I was spotting she wanted me to go on medication for a month and kept telling me I might be having a miscarriage due to lack of progestrone. She couldnt even do an ultrasound properly.

Thanks sami, Is it a tropical application she prescribed or specifically for acne scars? I have a case of both. I think it was both actually- the scar i had some were old and new but i was mostly annoyed with the new spots. I also found calamine lotion to be a good option for when you get a nasty zit the night before a big event!

Honestly I went to the doctor at Dermacare and was not impressed, he was on his cell phone during the appointment and kept asking me to take oral antibiotics. I tried the medicine for 6 weeks as i was desperate went back for a follow up and really got fed up with his attitude he also wanted me to start Accutane which was ridiculous as I was trying to conceive and i already mentioned this to him before. I saw Dr. Muna at Dubai mall medical center it took me about a month to get an appointment but I am so glad i stuck it out. She was against any harsh medication changed my facewash, prescribed a light grade acne scar cream and within 6 weeks i could see a difference. I had about 10 active acne spots when i went to see her within 3-4 months my face was clear and no new spots were formed. I still continue to use the facewash but have stopped all the other creams as i am pregnant. I highly recommend her!!

I have the same issue the only thing that helps me is physio and doing the stretches and exercises that the physio has taught me. Also try alternating heat and cold packs but no more than 20 mins of each.

ooh Plumie just sent you a mail about the meetup, just saw this now as I have been swamped with work. As for the update I have been having difficulty sleeping properly in the night, used to sleep on my stomach before and feel uncomfortable trying to sleep on the sides now. I have my next appointment at 19 weeks so will definately find out the *** then, i do have a very strong feeling that its a boy but I could be wrong, I would be happy with a girl or boy.

DH just went in to donate blood and was told there is a minimum 4 hour wait, its a long line with donors so if anyone is planning to go maybe wait a few hours.

There is a big collection of mexican items in the Maya Lal's in murooj rotana I am not sure if they have the canned chipotle, maybe you can call them and confirm.

Mexican shawarmas are exactly like the regular one but these have a special spicy sauce in them. I love the ones from Al Farooj (has branches in most mall foodcourts and the union co-op behind shangri-la) so gooood! I am at City with Dr. Grace-love her!

After reading about Rigby and Peller on the board a year back i went for a fitting on my last business trip and it was amazing!!! i was wearing the wrong bra size my whole life till i got fitted at r&p. Wish i could go back to get fitted for maternity bras.

Sami - glad to hear your NT scan went well! Iv got mine on thurs and am feeling a bit anxious about it, so keeping everything crossed that it will all be fine! Did you go to the FMC for yours? Dont stress about it at all, I am sure things will go well. I had the test with Dr. George at ni9e medical- he was so very nice. Goodluck and keep us posted!

Welcome to the group plumie- i am due on July 4th as well ! Overall i feel well but very tired and sleepy between 6-9pm ofcourse when it is time to go to bed I am refreshed and cant seem to settle down. In terms of craving all i can dream of is white bread and avocados. Had my NT scan last week it went well and was quite excited to see the baby jumping around!

i read in a magazine that at fetal medicine,they will reach this month 20 000 patients...!!! my husband and i are wondering that if they are so bad, how tcome they could reach this number of patients? Do you know other medical center giving NT result in one hour other than fetal medicine? so i can call and reqest? and i don't want a sonographer to do my scan, what i like in fetal medicine is that physicians certified from fetal medicine foundation are doing it,,,(my Dr. explained to me all details and he highly recommending them) ..so plzzz suggestions!!! edited by serena11 on 22/12/2011 Dr. George (ex AH) at nine medical center also have reports available the same day, I specifically asked them this question as i am travelling the day after my test and wanted my results right away.

Is there normally a waiting list for NT scans or can you get in quite quickly? At my next dr's appointment i will be 11 and a half weeks. Should i be booking something before this appt or does the dr normally organise it for you? TIA NT is usually done from 12 to 13 weeks i could easily get an appointment so i would suggest you book it after your doctors appointment and your doc can talk to you about the test in detail if needed.

I am not sure about the costs since insurance covers the test but im booked into see Dr. George at nine medical center. I once accompanied a friend to her test with Dr. Mirza and he said the meanest things to her, he maybe the best in his work but i dont want to deal with a doctor who doesnt even have basic respect for a patient.

Hi Norts I met a few doctors before deciding on Dr. Grace Jacob at City- she also has hours at the dubai mall medical clinic which is a sister clinic of City so all reports are on the same system. We are also first time parents and i felt Dr. Grace was the only one who didnt treat us like a number!

I was just thinking of posting today, i feel sick in the mornings which is not good since im late to work the only thing that works is constantly eating and snacking. LMAO-DXB did you decide on your doctor then? I had my 9 week appointment yesterday and could see that my blueberry has now become a grape :) I finally deicded on Dr. Grace at City- loved her and she was so sweet i didnt have to ask any questions since she talked about everything during the appointment. cp80-hope things are better how was your scan on the 24th. Hope all the other ladies are doing good too!

It is a chapter 11 bankruptchy which does not mean going bust, Debtors may "emerge" from a Chapter 11 bankruptcy within a few months or within several years, depending on the size and complexity of the bankruptcy. GM filed for this previously and have come back as a stronger and better organization.

Hi, I have PCOS and i conceived using Glucophage, a lot of exercise and a good healthy diet. My period were regular when i exercised and ate well the moment i got lazy my symptoms would flare up more.

You can also try using some of the heat pads the ones that warm up in the micorowave, I have a whiplash injury in my neck and it seems to have gotten worse since i got pregnant. I am also getting pyhsio as it is supposed to help.

Early December will be fine, the last time i called for Dr. Elsa she was booked till March i am sure she is great but as a first time pregnancy i really cant wait for that long or change my doctor last minute it freaks me out!

You can find out your due date when you visit the doc they ask you when you have your last period and calculate it from there.

Yes exciting times indeed, no nausea but i have just gone off food which is rather funny because i was in a fitness craze before i conceived and all i could think of was food lol. I am contemplating between American Hospital and City not yet decided DH thinks its rather funny how i am getting picky about the hospitals. I havent guessed the gender but I will definately find out when the time comes. Hope you feel better soon AmyAus82.

In the oprah show they interviewed a UAE national business woman who is westernized and very wealthy married into a prominent UAE family. . She showed off her large villa, perfect life, lovely kids, hubby who pays all bills as is the norm, housemaid that though the word of madam.....a dream life . I have UAE national friends who were offended this interview as it is not at all the way they live. Of course people if people back home watch this they think we are loaded. I remember when there was the outcry that she wasn't even from the UAE but Palestinian or Lebanese married to a UAE national..... I think she is Jordanian. Apart from the electricity quote, she started a debate when she said the Sheila (scarf) was a cultural requirement and not religious ! No she is a UAE national married to a prominent UAE businessman.
