Because it doesn't happen elsewhere in the world?? Who said that? Since you've brought it up, though, I actually did not see that often in the US which is where I have lived most of my life. It seemed like you were implying that.. I too have lived in North America and it is very common!

Also - that is so unhygienic - putting an uncovered hand into food others will eat uncooked - *****!! The clue is in the word *dispenser*, therefore not unhygenic just theft. Right, and I've seen that in [b'>many supermarkets here[/b'>, especially in the produce section. Besides theft, eating unwashed fruit could get one way more than you bargained for. What I don't understand is the multiple references by the OP about the man's size...I found that rather nasty. Because it doesn't happen elsewhere in the world??

Hello ladies, Iam looking for an italian or Slovak speaking nanny to help us with our 2 boys (2,5 and 4 years old) during our vacation at jumeirah zabeel saray in Palm dubai. We will stay there from 9-22 . November. We would need the nanny from 9-12:00 and 15-19:00 to play with the kids at the beach with us or to take them to the kids club. Please advise me where to find somebody that fits our needs. Thank you Try asking the Hotel directly as they usually have nanny services.

Judgmental much... I don't think the OP asked for your opinion in her parenting skills..she asked for advice on finding nannies...you shouldn't be too quick to judge as you don't know her and perhaps she has reasons for needing a nanny ..(medical/issues..) and she certainly does not have to justify herself.. Hi, try using SebaMed brand, available in most supermarkets; they have an amazing anti-bacterial foam cleanser (soap free) specifically for acne prone skin. There is also a German brand called TAO which was recommended by my dermatologist, but not available in all pharmacies, i think only al manara pharmacy on Jumeirah beach road carries it. The anti-bacterial cleanser works magic. Any tinted moisturizer is fine as long as its frangrance and oil-free; Try the Laura Mercier brand. Please don't use Retine A, as it will damage her skin. edited by samram on 07/09/2014

I highly recommend Clarins for moisturizer, any range depending on your skin concern, and the UV+40 to be used over it, its very fluid so doesnt leave your skin feeling oily.. Another favorite of mine is biotherm but not sure where to find it in Dubai..

Hi Roxrox, I had something similar and after seeing several doctors and doing numerous tests (x-ray/blood tests)the doctor said it was mycoplasma, a nasty bacteria that attaches to the lungs. It could takes weeks to months before the cough goes away. It is very contagious. The treatment was 10 days of antibiotic, Klacid and an asthma pump (seretide) Maybe ask the dr to test you for this. Hope you feel better soon! edited by samram on 06/07/2014

Bonus time is a gift with purchase(pouch or box with 5 or more samples inside) ; they offer it twice a year usually but sometimes you can find other gifts not necessarily called bonus time (i.e during Eid, or Shopping festival)

You should try Inspire nursery in Umm suqeim. They have therapists (occupational) which come to the nursery on a regular basis (at extra charge of course) I am sure they can arrange speech therapists as well. The nursery is very diverse and welcomes children with special needs. Good luck!

I spoke to RERA today, it turns out the new owner doesn't have to give me another 12 months notice..if the notice however is not notarized then it is not legally binding, therefore the new owner has to give 12 months notice. When you say you " spoke to them" - was this on the phone? If so could you share the number.. I went down there but just got a generalised answer from the girl on reception there :-( I spoke to someone over the phone 04-203-0555 the person was very friendly and took time to answer all my questions!

actually according to the USDA if you keep it cold enough when defrosting you can even safely re-freeze without cooking; [url=http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?parentnav=FAQS_BYTOPIC&FAQ_NAVIGATION_ID=FOOD_FQ&FAQ_NAVIGATION_TYPE=FAQS_BYTOPIC&contentid=faqdetail-16.xml&edeployment_action=retrievecontent'>refreezing meat USDA[/url'> I wouldn't take the chance...personally

Thanks ladies, will be giving her chicken tonight. Hope it goes well. Willl be trying finger food's next. Expecting a mess! Another question. How does one go about preparing meals and freezing them. Can meals containing chicken and meat be frozen and defrosted safely. Sorry if i'm sounding a bit daft but am a bit too unsure about these things when it comes to DD. Dont want to end up making her sick Yes you can defrost, cook and refreeze, no probs. Actually you should never freeze something that has been de frosted..its very dangerous and can make you sick. Alot of meat here is already de-frosted, so it should not be re-frozen.. Especially for young children..its best to buy fresh (if possible) cook and then freeze..i personally did not freeze, but was at home at the time..different story when you work. edited by samram on 25/09/2013 edited by samram on 25/09/2013

I'm sure there is a man (or woman?) involved. Do your cameras cover entrances and exits? Perhaps it's someone she merely has a crush on that she sees? New guard at the compound perhaps ... could be anyone, but I'm sure there is a person involved. I'd tell her she can't resign and you would take her wishes into consideration for when her contract ends. And a uniform. I don't think it's wise nor legal for that matter to keep someone against their will...

Hi, Al Furjan is still a very recent area, so don't expect much on the short time. IBN Batuta mall is 10 minutes away by car without traffic. The same about the Discovery Gardens shops and markets. Close by there is only a mini market in the Masakin complex (beside the villas), but it is very small, only for emergencies. The area has some parks, close to my house there is one that is good and a lot of kids play around it. But there are still some under construction, the closest one to my house (a block away) still has 3 deep excavations in the middle, not sure if they will be a lake or playground.... The area is looking much better than when I moved 3 months ago, but it is still work in progress. The access is still an issue, the only real access is by Discovery Gardens and there is a lot of traffic in the morning and afternoon. There are some other access but you can take it by your own risk, as they are not official and usually involves some sand.... Thanks for the info :) Appreciate it!!!

hi, I live in a townhouse, not independent villa. I don't pay chiller here, as far as I know the a/c is on top of the villa, so no extra charge, it will be charged as electricity on your Dewa bill. Townhouses are smaller than villas, so far all my bills including housing fees were around 1000 AED. I hope it helps! Hi, how is the neighborhood like? Are there any grocery stores/parks..is it easy to access major roads? Thanks.
