I am with SG When my Ex cheated mobile phones weren't around. I found out by letter? He didn't want to break up our marriage and our *** life hadn't dwindled. When confronted, he denied, cried, tried to turn it around the full shebang. He didn't want to me to leave, he said it was just *** and attention as we had been together for so long AKA ego stroke from someone new. I tried to work it out but for me the trust had gone and I knew I would be one of those women who would constantly be on his case if he was out at night, working late etc etc I hope OP does what is best for her but for me cheating is a cowards way out and once the trust is broken that is it. We didn't have children though so I don't know what I may of done in that situation. I am a great believer in going by your gut feeling and usually when you go looking for something you find it. I do think you should confront him as it just eats away at you otherwise and eventually it will come out. Good Luck!

Thanks girls. I have not heard of Shop and Ship? Are they a safe company then? I may have to use them as probably not going home till the summer and I am desperate! lcoolie I like Origins too! Dubai needs to catch up lol! xx Shop and Ship is an account you open with Aramex You buy products online and use Aramex as the post address and delivery I use them constantly and you can track your parcels online The only thing you have to watch is the weight. The heavier the item the more the postage is I rarely buy clothes in Dubai now, I buy online from the Uk and ship them with Aramex You pay a one off fee to set the account up and its yours for life Certain liquids may not be allowed though so I would check with them before you buy Happy Shopping Don't listen to this woman she's a bad influence ;) But seriously, while living out here Shop and Ship is the only way to get what you want/need at a reasonable price and not end up paying way over the odds, or having to wait until you go home or someone comes out here. Have fun :) I was waiting for you to pipe up ha :-)

I was sat in Tips and Toes once and the lady next to me was having her threading done Her child was being a little grizzly so I was pulling funny faces and jangling my keys at him to try and distract him whilst Mum was busy Mum finished, said thank you. When I left to pay the Receptionist said this is from the lady who was sat next to you. She had gifted me a head and shoulder massage and left me a lovely note saying thank you. Needless to say I walked home with a huge lump in my throat close to tears

I was in DIFC waiting to order lunch and the guy in front asked if I could hold his space whilst he popped across to a different shop - I said sure... he came back with a big bunch of flowers that I assumed were for his wife. He gave them to me. I told him there was no need, I only held the space for 5 minutes and he told me that he left the line just to go and get me flowers as he has seen me helping someone the previous day and thought it would be nice if someone did something for me i thought it was sweet - he was a bit creepy but the gesture was sweet Pay it forward :-)

I'm also getting bombarded but with whatsapp messages sellng flats :$ You can block people on Whats app and if you have an Iphone you can block messages also When the financial organisations bombard me with calls, I answer, say one moment and put the phone on the side and turn the radio up. If I have to speak with them I say " I am in debt up to my eyeballs" and they rarely call again :-)

I gave way to a nice mum at a pedestrian crossing and someone behind me honked very loudly, so I didnt use the curse words I was thinking of, does that count? This used to happen to me all the time, then a few weeks ago, I noticed someone using their hazards when stopping at a crossing, so since doing that, I don't get honked at as much :) As its a hazard to stop at a pedestrian crossing ha :-)

Hmmm....I've never had anything done to my face before so I'm really umming and ahh'ing, but I really don't like the wrinkles under my eyes! I was asking my doctor who does my laser treatment, whether I needed Botox today and she said I'd benefit more from the 3D lift for the wrinkles under my eyes, and it lasts for 2 years, plus it's not that much more.... My friend had under her eyes lifted in Brussels They pull them against the muscle so all shadows and wrinkles disappear, they look amazing

Hi all, Has anyone had a 3D facelift done? It involves a lift involving thread, and is meant to be non-invasive. If you have, would you recommend it? TIA Apparently this is really popular in India My friend who has had so many procedures done both surgical and no surgical is looking into this Apparently it is the next best thing! Sorry I cannot help but would be interesting to find out if it is any good

Does anyone know what the rule is when breaking an apartment tenancy contract? Is the tenant due any refund of rent if they provide notice? In the lease the only mention under "Renewal or Termination of the Lease Agreement" states "Renewal or termination of the agreement at the time of expiry or early termination of the lease agreement by either party shall be according to Emirate of Dubai laws set out to regulate the relationship between the tenant and landlord." Any assistance appreciated - whether personal experience or referring me to the correct website where the rules are posted! No refund due. Most people I know who have broken the agreement have either forfeited the amount or found a new tenant

Aside from opening doors for strangers, giving up your seat on the metro or bus, letting someone else go ahead of you in a queue, and giving a parking ticket that has lots of time left to another person, what other random acts of kindness have you done in Dubai? Making cakes for the cleaners and security in my building oh and for the girls at Tips and Toes

If they are coming from the UK or US everything here is more expensive than there Also the outlet mall is nothing like the type of outlet mall we have back in the UK. Although I do tend to go there if I want something from Sacoor, but apart from that it's not worth the journey. It's not as if you can make a day of it and have lunch In the UK I lived close to Cheshire Oaks! I loved it there :-)

I would check with the postal carrier what you can and can't bring into the country. Certainly not live plants, veg, seeds etc, but dried or tinned foods shouldn't be a problem. What were you thinking of ordering and from where. The shop and ship guidelines are usually quite good at specifying what they are a postal service can carry and I would say this same applies to all. Sorry to hijack Question for TDB Can you shop and ship with Marks and Spencers? TIA never tried but would guess so, unless you have to use a UK CC to purchase. OMG if you could ship M&S and food then I would be ordering in those tubs of flapjacks by the dozen!! Just ordered two lots of clothes from M&S, wish I'd thought to try and include some food ;) Geordie can you use your UAE C/C for M and S? We used our UK c/c sorry. I don't think it works with a UAE C/C Thanks though

In what rational society is this allowed to be on the front page of the newspaper? The employer, who has a one-year-old son, claimed the maid had become negligent in her duties so she decided to search her belongings. She said she found contraceptive pills and then confronted the Filipina. “I pulled her hair and threatened to tell the police if she didn’t tell me the truth,” the woman said in her statement. "I pulled her hair..." In other words, this woman assaults her housekeeper. Then calls the police. And then claims to be shocked when she jumps from the roof??? We were discussing this article this morning Horrified to say the least

All I know is she is British, short blonde hair and an excellent colourist, hence why I'm trying to find her! :) When you Google Louise at Ted Morgan Dubai a FB page comes up on your choices and there is a girl called Louise on there She is blond however I do not know what she looks like You can see some pictures of her. Perhaps look and send her a message through FB

I also was going to ask about Golf Clubs on Emirates so hoping they are still free. It still states first set of gold clubs and shoes free on their web site. Anyone in the know.? I saw people at Xmas bringing them back on the EK from Birmingham with no bother My understanding is if it is operated by Quantas then there is a problem, some guy wrote into 7 days about it. Check the website

Hi Ladies I could really do with some help please. I am attending a ball next month and I have decided that I might wear a 1920's style ball gown I wore previously to a Gansters and Mols ball back home (it was quite an expensive dress and I have only wore it once). I would really like to find a 1920's style headband to wear with the dress as I hope to also have a 1920's style hair do. Has anyone seen anything like this in a shop that sells accessories or a costume shop? Any suggestions would be sooooooooo appreciated. There is a great fancy dress shop in the blue mall on Beach Road I think it is called the beach centre. I got my charlston dress and headband from there For hairdos I imagine Salon Ink could help you out there

Did it with DH in Oct last year and surprisingly didn't feel the least scared, maybe coz they make it look so simple in the videos playing on in the waiting area. Once the door opens for the jump and you are at the edge of the plane u do panic, but then the best part is that you don't need to take the plunge yourself (as in bungy jumping) and are pushed by the instructor. It was a glorious experience and would definitely want to do it again. edited by mumcurious on 28/01/2014 Its the whole getting out of the plane that terrifies me Once out I know I will be okay ha

do you mean a skydive? yes - and it was great! I did it for charity a few years ago. I was as nervous as you and actually cried. but here's what I did. There is a load of waiting around for wind conditions / the plane etc - so I brought a bottle of coke and tipped half out, filled the rest with voddy and then took sips, so by the time we took off I was half cut and loving it. Except for when they open the door. Although at that point you can't really back out and they sort of push you out anyway. Helped that the instructor whose lap you have to sit on, was really hot and we actually went on a few dates! loool! That post made me roar with laughter.

Hi Sarahlou123, I make custom diaper/nappy cakes that are frequently used at Babyshowers as centre pieces or as gifts for expectant mums. Look me up on Facebook if you are interested: facebook/babycakesuae x Thank you Do you do all white as we don't know the gender of the baby yet :-) Of course - we can tailor it to the theme (if any?) Or do a neutral pallette! You can send me a PM on Facebook if you like and we can chat further Thank you
