Quite liked Elementary, he's so eccentric and Lucy Lui plays a good character and Scandal with Kerry Washington isnt too bad either. Have just started watching Ray Donovan which is really good along with Blacklist which is entertaining if not a little far fetched but it fills in the time between Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire and Downton Abbey. If you like Masterchef Oz, The Professionals is good, it has Marco-Pierre White as a judge and he is brutal in the kitchen/service challenges and there are some serious ego's in the series. I just watched an episode with a Zumbo cake challenge and it was a debaucle with some good squabbling with the contestants. Betrayal is a new one, I watched the 1st episode and it started off well Avoid Hello Ladies with Stephen Merchant ( Ricky Gervais sidekick) awful 1st episode

Downton Abbey season 4 has started last week, shame they only do a limited number of episodes and then make us wait till the next year. Watched the White Queen, liked that as well, it's a mini series though. There is Revenge, starting season 3. It's the last season I hope there is not much more to twist and turn and revenge taking to do. Once Upon a Time was nice but is getting boring. By the way why watch them on youtube? Try watch series dot e u. The UK seasons all tend to be shorter than their US counterparts I am eagerly awaiting Game of Thrones to start again :-)

Did anyone else watching GA on OSN First HD last night think that scenes were skipped out? Not the whole way, but certain parts just didn't flow .... ?? or just me - and for no reason such as ***, language etc - no reason what so ever?! I imagine a couple of the scenes may of been edited out for obvious ( s2x) reasons :-) I downloaded it last week so managed to see everything haha

You are so right regards the calculator and lack of awareness here, we are forever telling people about it. I have another question please, our sister also lives here and she signed a non-renewable agreement last year. Does the LL have to issue the 12 month notice letter at the time of the agreement or is it just a given that she has to leave after the 12 months? Thanks My understanding is that the non renewable means he doesn't have to renew after 12 months and doesn't have to issue a letter stating this. He can just ask her to leave

Can anyone recommend a very good place to get a good facial? Somewhere trust worthy and professional please!! Yallabanana site had one on there for Saks at Downtown Dermalogica products which I feel are the best There is also a salon in the Sultan Business Centre next to Lamcy that I used to go to They also use the above products and were reasonably priced The name of the salon was Deja Vu but I don't have the tel no sorry

I have been here for 9 years now. I have been saying the same thing about these roads for years. My husband now has stated that he will not listen to me talk about the traffic anymore. It makes me so angry, I should think someone should have been fired for not anticipating the traffic coming from AR, MC etc. it doesn't take a genius to multiply the amount of buildings and the total apts etc. I should think there is a simply calculation that most governments use when they plan their cities. thank you for listening! bigsue, I have the same gripe about JLT. How anyone thought the minimal number of exits and entrances and 5 lanes dropping down to 2 would be sufficient for that many high rise mixed use buildings it beyond me. It's a simple math problem. i feel your pain, after I have crawled to work on Hessa street I then sit in the JLT traffic in the evening trying to get out of there. JLT is a nightmare! I feel for you!

If OP chooses to go to a beach in the med or a sauna in Germany then it is common practice however in the UAE seeing a woman with her baps out isn't and especially not in a shared compound Exactly. There are plenty of people who find nudity offensive. The difference is on a beach in the Med there is nothing you can do about it whereas here you are within your rights to tell them to cover up. I have just seen a young girl with a fantastic figure come out of an EK crew building White dress with a black thong underneath. I doubt she realized it is on display for all to see! or hasn't turned around. Huge Faux pas!

Some say this year, others say next. My Friday mornings have not been the same since it finished TV.com usually tells you the dates that the series begin again

If I was one of your new neighbours I'd be really annoyed if you went directly to the landlord with an issue like this and didn't come and just TALK to me first! Really, just head on over and politely ask them not to sunbathe topless. If they are rude to you you can always take it up with the landlord after that. I couldn't agree more. The LL should be a last resort. I would approach them first and if you get nowhere then go to LL I wouldn't want to see my neighbour's boobs either!

Hi all, we are suddenly leaving Dubai and our lease expires in July 2014. Our contract says: "If the tenant wishes to vacate the subject tenancy and wants to leave down, he should officially inform the landlord and obtain his consent". If we give 60 days notice, can the landlord hold our rent until he finds a replacement tenant? We have paid the full contract period in advance. Is there any law regarding this or is it a grey area? We hope our landlord will be happy as we had a pickle when renegotiating our rent as he wanted to increase our rent by 40%. Has anyone had experience with this? TIA A friend of mine paid 2 months rent to vacate early however others with no penalty I do not think that there is any law regarding this it depends on the LL in question

Hi SL - tricky one. If you have UK credit card you can order from the UK site and SnS. If you only have a UAE card you have to order from nextdirect.com and then pick your country (UAE) - the prices are in dollars and a bit more than UK prices but they do ship here. I have done it and it is OK, but personally just stock up when I go home. Good luck! I love it as the baby clothes are adorable but out here just ridiculous prices and poor range. Thanks I am looking at their bedding ranges :-)

Dont know many places in Feb /Mar that will be fairly warm - but Portugal is easy to get to from here and the UK. The temps will be about 16 - 18 C Looked at the Canaries but have to change planes and some of the routes were 18 hours! I never though of Portugal thanks! The braid bar at Jet Set was fab! It took her 20 minutes to do my style and everyone asked where I got it done! x

I don't want to open a debate on cats being in/out etc. Mine are let out because we are in a quiet area not near any main roads, they were rescue cats and also for my sanity have to be let out otherwise they howl the place down! Not sure whats going on but about 2/3 weeks ago my little black moggy cat came in absolutely drenched, thought perhaps he'd been fighting and someone had chucked water on them or something and thought no more of it. Last night about 9.30pm opened door to call cats in, and my other cat, my Arabian Mau was sat on the garden table. He wouldn't come in and was very subdued. I went out to pick him up to find he was drenched, and missing his collar also. He has gone through 8 collars since I came back to Dubai this summer (on the 1st August). Before that, he rarely lost his collar. Not really sure why I'm posting this really but anyone elses cat in Al Reem coming home having been for a swim? Perhaps they are in peoples gardens and the owners are throwing water at them so they will leave. I do know that this happens in the UK as many people don't like cats being in their gardens due to cat poo etc ( I like cats btw so would never do that)

Not done one before - but got unsociable inlaws coming ;( ! So decieded to look into turkey takeaway - Which are the best ones you have had? Heard Latitude is good but prices are expensive???? We ordered from Towers Rotana. Turkey was huge, cannot remember cost through Trimmings were a bit on the tight side though so I made extra and **** in blankets, gravy, proper goose fat roasters etc

My son is only 2.5 years and started his nursery Drop him at 8am and pick him by 2.30pm so can anyone suggest me a homebased or any partime job .really am inneed of it . I do not think you are allowed to work from home ( Due to legal reasons) Part time jobs rarely come up most are full time Perhaps keep an eye on the job bank on here as they may advertise them or try the schools
