Under every headline about the Royal baby contained the line about the fact that wills is taking paternity leave and will get paid 138 quid .. I also saw that.

I'm really don't know but I have heard of some people who went and the treatment was great...I just don't know them to get the details! I've been to the facial clinic on Jumeirah Beach Road before, he was fine but just thought I might try somewhere else this time... Try Dr Allen I went to him on Saturday. They have an offer on aswell so it was 1530 for a full head He was a really good guy and I would go back again without hesitation

Hi, Does anyone know what companies offer graduate programs for MBA holders? Would really appreciate if you could let me know of companies you are aware of or maybe companies you or your DH work in. Thanks!! Most of the graduate roles I work on are for Arab nationals/Emiratis only

I am not sure about other airlines but if you fly Emirates they will send a car out to you, they always pick us up, but I do not know about car seats. Thought that was only if you fly Business or First Class? It is not for economy

All of the Jumeirah restaurants do a fantastic Christmas spread and it is well worth the price. Mina Salaam is lovely. We have done Latitude 3 years running. I hear Raffles is superb so we will be trying that this year - should I book now? Sooner the better for Raffles

Bali is really beautiful. I stayed in Ubud and Lovina while I was there. Ubud has remained one of my favorite places I've ever been and I can't recommend it highly enough. It's worth noting that it's in the middle of the island and not on the beach, though. I avoided Kuta as I heard from multiple people that it was filthy, overcrowded with tourists, and just not worth visiting. But again, I didn't go so don't know personally - that's just what I heard. Thank you will have a look Do you have to fly to Jakarta first then on to Bali?

This from a medical professional. I have not clue. I missed the part about at night though?

Hi, Does anyone know the lady who does Botox on the Palm? Thanks On the palm? which clinic? I would only use a qualified surgeon who operates via a hospital here I certainly would not go to someone in a villa or apartment as that could be inviting trouble Is this person a DR? Thanks

I am sure this was also the case when I lived in Germany I suppose a non qualified person giving first aid to someone may make things worse and by moving them may injure them further. It is a difficult one to predict

Actually A&E and MMI are open normal trading hours this year (at least in DFC and Uptown) can't comment on the husband license part as I have my own. A&E Uptown open then during day? I was told by CS on the phone that they are only open in the evening due to Ramadan confused.com!

Why was baby not wearing a hat? No medical reason why it should. Hats on newborns/babies are more to do with tradition and "cuteness" than actual need. That's odd as my new niece ( Who was born yesterday) had a low temperature so they put a hat on her and were told to keep it on? who knows why

I have never had Botox and want to do it this month. 2 questions: How soon after having the treatment you can go out? Do you get bruises? Also, who is better Dr Allen or Dr Tahir? I have been to both and they are both great Rarely get bruises and you can go out immediately, I just look a bitt red but then I am always red! No exercise or alcohol for 24 hours though and I sleep with 2 pillows slightly propped up

Yes I have heard about the 4l rule...but I don't have a license.. I know chances are probably low, but what if they do check me at customs?? Can I say it is a gift?? (or am I just too naive??) But being here in SA , it is just too tempting to buy wine ;-) edited by Salamander on 24/07/2013 I have never been stopped and carry it in my luggage, the worst thing that could happen is they confiscate it

I would suggest that you stick to Everlast or Ariston brands. If you drive through Satwa or somewhere like that (Rashidiya too) back streets, you will find a small plumber business who will do it for you cheaply. Thanks

Can we open a salary account for our domestic help? We would prefer to open account with the biggest E bank here as it has a wide network of ATMs/ branches. Is there a minimum salary requirement for salary account? Only salary account have no minimum balance, and that is what he wants (zero balance account). I believe NBAD do one for ( Female) maids have opened them I do not know for a houseboy sorry. Perhaps give them a call Good Luck!

My Tag is being serviced at the moment: AED800 to change movement, oil, etc. The funny thing is, I took it to Tag shop 9months ago as it had stopped working. They sent it for servicing where the battery was changed (AED100). 6months down the line the watch is running behind by 30min. I take it back to the shop as the warranty is for 1 year. The guy re-adjusts my watch and tells me to come back if the problem persists. 9months on and my watch stops. Then works again. Then stops. I take it back to the shop where they send it for servicing again. I wonder then: how is it possible for the oil to dry out if the watch is water proof? Last time the movement was fine, now it has to be replaced? I am not a cynical person but Dubai makes me be one. I'm the same. Two of my friends have Omegas and were told the same thing. It needs servicing after a short period of time. One of them took it to Omega in London who said no servicing required just battery change. How can we prove it needs doing as it isn't like a car where the service lights comes on. I avoid doing anything like this in Dubai if I can!

Would she like one of the Arabic name necklaces? I know they can be a bit touristy but I also think they are lovely and can look very classy - you could get her a gold one if want it to be special. Or how about an Arabic tea set? I love them with the teapots and the little glasses, again they can be touristy but they would be used and you would be able to get a beautiful high quality one. Cara sell them at the G&D Park Silver ones cost AED100 do not know price for gold though

Just be firm with them and tell them to only replace the battery. High-end watches like these should be serviced every few years but that is your choice to make, not theirs. I know, the jewelers where I live do them so will pop in there when I go home I trust them more if you know what I mean! Thanks :-)

Here's a list of servicing prices in Swiss Francs http://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/watch-intervention/service-prices AED 1,500 seems spot on. Thank you. I am concerned as I was told it was the battery that needed replacing costing AED85 Then told a week later oh no it needs servicing to which I replied so not the battery then? She said no and then later yes the battery does need replacing? I have known friends be told it needed servicing when I was just a battery replacement and I refuse to pay that amount unless sure I will take it to Omega in the UK as I have dealt with them before. CS here is awful!

I think this is about right, OH took his Rolex and it cost a huge amount, but the service that very thorough and the watch came back looking brand new. My car cost less for its first service lol I am checking the UK as that seems hugely overpriced and how do I know it isn't just the battery which costs AED85

Today, I had my first Botox and filler treatment in Dubai, went to Dr Allen at elite plastic and cosmetic surgery. I must say I was very impressed from start to finish. I am used to having Botox for my excessive sweating, but it was the first time I had it in Dubai and although I told the doctor I’d had it before he said but not with me, so we had a full consultation and he explained the procedure, pros and cons etc. I also had juvederm smile in my lips. He and his nurse, were very professional and didn’t rush. Back in UK it was always in and out, no time to ask questions. I just felt to share this with you in case anyone is thinking of having any of these procedures, I would highly recommend him. I saw him yesterday how lovely is he!!!

We discovered a mould problem in our wardrobe so I have a lot of clothes (suits, dresses etc) that need dry cleaning. Can anyone recommend a good dry cleaner in the Marina/Greens/Meadows/Umm Suquiem areas, especially if they offer a bulk discount or discount for for first time users. I am happy to drop off and pick up myself. I live in the Greens and used these guys 055-5776608 They were cheap as anything to dry clean my dresses for work etc. Half the price of Champions at the Greens

I thought if you're outside the UK, you have to go back and prove your residency before going back on the NHS? I am American but DH is English, so that's what he seems to think from his research. They never ask for proof I used to visit my GP for my contraceptive pill up to a year ago and I have lived here for 7 years. He advised me not to come off their records and he was aware I was moving As long as you are signed up with a GP and have an NI number you can and as one poster said they will never turn anyone away they have to treat you at A&E

What is the name of this product? Why is it so good? My hair is falling out at a fast rate. It has become so thin here and, of course, covering all the time just makes it worse. I would love to find a shampoo and conditioner and treatment that actually works. Thanks I don't think this would be suitable for the above as it is just a high street brand but very popular I have a filter on my shower, use dry shampoo a lot rather than washing everyday and use Kerastace products as my hair is very fine. I will ask my hairdresser tonight which is the best for hair fall etc
