Also the vitamin store at Dubai Mall (its nearly opposite West Elm) has one, I have been using it as a moisturiser, make up remover and absolutely love it. I use it with my suntan lotion and it gives you a great golden tan :-)

I cant heklp with the Facetime thing but the iPhone 6 is a million times better IMO, the photo and video quality alone makes it worth upgrading for I went from the 4s to the 6 and agree with regards to the photo and video quality It was strange getting used to the larger size but I prefer the 6 to its smaller couterparts

Hi I am travelling to Dubai August & would like to work whilst there - can stay at least 6 months - looking for a position of a short term contract in hospitality or fitness. Does anyone have any contacts or can suggest where to start to find a suitable position. Has anyone any direct contacts with a recruitment agency that may be able to search the local area for suitable positions or suggest any companies that would be worth contacting. I have accommodation already for this period of time, so it is just employment that is required. Can anyone direct me? Thanks Jodie Most if not all roles in Dubai are permanent. Temporary roles are usually covered by married ladies as you have to be on a spouse or family visa I assume you are coming to Dubai on a visit visa? If so then you cannot work legally without being sponsored. In addition to this, August is a very quiet time on the recruitment front as it is the height of the Summer and all the schools are closed and many people take their annual leave.

Has anyone heard or tried of the botox in a bottle? Quite inexpensive compared to what doctors are offering. And instant results too. ;) Do you mean a skin cream that you can buy over the counter? I have never heard of it How is it applied to the skin as botox is primarily given by injections. I have just read up about it as it was on GMTV. I believe it does say when you wash your face it stops working. They liken it to polyfiller as apparently it fills the cracks ( or should I say wrinkles) therefore isn't a permanent 6 months thing like Botox is

Hello All, We are thinking of moving to the Mudon Villa's in Dubailand and wondered whether you could kindly advise on kitchen appliances. We were informed that the kitchen appliances are all integrated. Do we need to purchase appliances from a certain company or do most standard integrated appliances fit? I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you Ryss The member Marley73 lives there ( I believe from other posts) she may be able to help Failing that se if they have a FB group

Thanks Sarahlou123 for the rescue again! :) Yep ordering from Amazone.UK So, I only need to enter shop and ship add in delivery box? I cant seem to see on the website if I need to enter my DH work address and PO box Number. I assume that will be picked up once I type in the shop and ship add? is that correct? I do remember when I registered they asked for a delivery address which I then entered DH work add? sorry for all the questions.. You will have a reference number with your UK address for shop and ship account ( This well let Aramex know who you are) . You have to input this in the correct format to Amazon.co.uk as your delivery address. You don't need to input your UAE address into Amazon as this will be logged with them on your shop and ship account The UK shop and ship address is your full name your 5 figure ref number ( DXB) is usually written before the 5 figure number aramex house old bath road slough berks sl3 0ns

Hi, I've noticed the sales now and after Ramadan bit hit and miss IMO. Find a lot of the good stuff have already gone. Usually the case with me, anyway. Though I went shopping at the weekend and ended buying non sale items. Mind you, I'm keeping a look out for UK shops. I haven't come across the sales sign yet. There are a few sales online for the UK shops as my SnS account has been taking a battering ;-)

Dear ladies Have you used a driver in Dubai that you would recommend... at 6 months pregnant I am facing difficulty in driving back and forth to work so if you know any driver (with car preferably) please let me know. Also, it would be advantageous if driver is female. thanks for your help! Uber or careem are the only legal routes for drivers unless you own a business and have a driver legally employed by your company I don't think people can just be drivers as someone has to sponsor them for insurance and legal purposes I don't know if the former companies have female drivers though as I have only seen men

Log into your Aramex shop and ship account When you are logged in it says my addresses. The UK one is the one you have to put as the delivery address for amazon to deliver To check your DH address here go onto my profile/edit my profile and whatever UAE address you put will be there I hope that makes better sense than my previous message

Hi, I have opened a shop and ship account ages ago and never took the plunge to order online fear that It might get lost etc. This afternoon I've decided to order from amazon.uk Now... Am a little confused amzone asking for delivery address do I enter the UK shop and shop address or the address that in Dubai?? I assume when I enter my shop and ship address it will pick up the address where it's suppose to go?? Sorry this sounds a bit daft. First time I'm using this type of service. Also, is there a way I can check my actual address that it's suppose to go to in Dubai. Think I entered my DH work address. It's been ages since I signed and I just can't remember. Your help is much appreciated. TIA If you are using Amazon.co.uk then you need to input the Aramex UK address It doesn't do it automatically for you. The Aramex UK address is where the goods from Amazon will be delivered to before they are delivered to you in the UAE Then the delivery address in the UAE I use my work one for that but don't input a PO Box number just my actual work address I hope this makes sense

HI looking for recommendations for a good tested and tried specialist that can offer offer and administer age specific skin related treatments ie Botoxs, fillers etc Just had filers with Dr Fiona at dr nicolas on marina walk...love, love the results and she is very good. I had the restylene lite in many area to lift my face and I feel so good after having it and she wasnt too expensive either Did you do restylane in your tear troughs too? And do you mind telling how much you paid? Dr rezai is doing mine at the end of the month it is 1500 for 0.5ml or 2200 for 1ml which most people need. Unfortunately DR Khan who I normally use charges 3200 Will this be your first time to try the tear troughs? If you had it done before with Dr. Rezai could you kindly give me some feedback. It is my first time yes. I need to have a long chat with him first as I have read reports that it can be a little lumpy on certain patients and I don't want that. He is a superb surgeon whom I have used before. I shall let you know how I get on

I flew with them to Sofia last year. They are very budget low cost. The seats were really uncomfortable and didn't recline at all. You can pay for extra room but what you get isn't extra leg room it is the seat next to me but the arm rest didn't go up?? They are okay for a very short flight but I wouldn't want to fly with them for more than 4 hours

Hello, Does anyone know if the DEWA offices are open on Saturday, or closed for the holiday. I've called but can't get past their telephone system to speak to someone and have also tweeted. We need to pay a final bill and it's the only day my husband (account holder) is in town. Thank you. FFx You can do it online and they will credit your bank account with the refund of the deposit ( minus the final bill cost) I have just done it. Failing that the one near Wafi is open on a Saturday

They go from Ibn Battuta and i think they stop at Yas Island where you would need to get off and catch a cab to Ferrari World. Call the RTA as they know the bus routes and are very helpful 8009090

I'm currently trying to grow my hair out from pixie short to bob length and it's at that stage where it just looks *bleh*. Anyone have any tricks up their sleeves to help hair grow a little quicker... Any products etc? My hairdresser is helping me obviously, but just want to give it a little boost :) Biotin caps are good. I started using them as I was having huge hair fall There aren't any hair products I could recommend that will make your hair grow quicker. When I first arrived here I had cropped hair and it took me 18 months to get it to bob length. It is now down to the small of my back :-) Thanks sarahlou! I'll have a look at the Biotin caps. Hopefully by next year I'll have a bob again then, fingers crossed! I have very thick hair naturally anyway, so maybe that will work in my favour :D I've had short and grown it out again before a few years back, I always hated that in- between stage -- makes me want to cut it all off again! I went from long to short, back to the bob, short again, then long I used hair pieces and extensions when it was at bob length as my hair is so fine and I couldn't do anything with it I do find my hair grows really quickly here as opposed to the UK

The full story was on FB, It seems that the Egyptian actress was trying underwear & was walking around the shop with her underwear to change the sizes of the items she was trying. The Emarati lady asked her nicely 3 times not to walk around like this but she didn't listen & was rude to her. Then the shouting started That is shocking if true!

We are moving to Dubai this summer and had a look around different areas last week. I really like Arabian Ranches and found 2 nurseries I like out there but I will be looking for work in TV and that will probably be in Media City. Can someone advice me on driving time from the Ranches to Media City please? When I was out there people said it would be about 1/2 hour but my friend here who used to live the said 1 1/2 and that traffic is awful... Please help! TIA It depends what time of the the day you are travelling but even at peak times it should not take 1.1/2 hours. Hessa Street can be a nightmare in the evenings but there are a few alternative routes now. I would say 30 minutes is more realistic. My friend comes from Sports City to Tecom ( Near the bridge to Media City) for 9am and it only takes her 20 minutes

Hello everyone. Anyone know what the requirements are to see a doctor here in Abu dhabi or dubai? I do not have an emirates ID I'm currently on a visit visa and will be until I am able to go back to the states to marry my fiance. I really need to see a doctor for a pap smear for abnormal issues. Also if I am able to see a doctor here would you recommend someone please. I am afraid of not getting adequate care here in the UAE as I have read stories. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tia Gynaes tend to do them in the UAE and you will have to pay if you don't have insurance I cannot help with the cost sorry Dr Tank comes highly recommended http://www.swedishmc.com/aboutus.aspx?st=3

No it isn't You have to be a resident of GB to change your address within GB According to the DVLA if you move out of the UK you are supposed to hand your licence back in to them If you go back and visit do not use your UK licence to drive a car either as you will not be insured should you have a bump. Most people who hire a car in the UK will use their UAE licence

Hi ladies, I usually have no problem using my Paypal/NBD card on various USA websites (amazon, gymboree). I came across Ulta.com and they said my card is outside of USA and they cannot accept as a payment method. I tried my Paypal, then made a new Paypal using my USA address and USD as the currency, linked my other NBD card, but somehow Ulta.com still detects my account is outside US! How do I get a USA card or is there a way around this? Experience appreciated, thanks! p.s. I tired other websites to get the same products like beauty.com and walgreens.com, all detect that my card is non-US :( p.p.s. title should say "Now What?" but I can't change it lolz edited by sourskittleashnut on 10/05/2015 I think some international pre paid cards work with the US sites. My Finnish colleague uses one to buy online products from Finland its called mynetcard. You can register it at a US address and shop to your hearts content. Aramex shop and ship may work too but the delivery price may be more than the websites prices edited by sarahlou123 on 10/05/2015
