SL I printed that one already! And a few others! But can't make head nor tail of it! <thick> There are 2 routes on this one and it seems clearer I think one just does JBR and the other Al Soufa and JBR http://www.alsufouhtram.com/route-map/

Mine went on Saturday with DHL. It was sent to Liverpool not Belfast The passport office said up to 6 weeks but DHL said they are averaging 3 weeks turnaround Between April-Sept is the busiest period so I would do it before then

Hi Ladies, So I understand beef oxo is not halal and so no longer available "sob sob" has anyone seen it in the non-muslim section of any supermarket? I stocked up last year when I went to Oz but running low and no trip planned to get more as yet. TIA The Red Bisto disappeared and reappeared too In the past I have only found it at Spinneys on Beach Road and Waitrose. I too tend to stock up when I go back to the UK

i just googled it... didnt even know it existed... it's AWESOME!! I know! Thanks for the post Izzy. Sugar at MOE are sadly out of stock and although Ahlan said it cost AED34 its actually AED70. On Amazon it works out at AED22 but I imagine P&P would bump the price up. The blue and white is meant to look amazing

Ladies, we are going to the Michael Buble concert on Friday and just wondering about facilities at the stadium. Is it easier to taxi or drive/park? Since it's not attached to a hotel, is there no alcohol available? I cannot help with the taxi/drive query but I have seen the bad traffic when the cricket matches are on so I would catch a cab with regards to alcohol I guess it will be served as that is how they make their revenue. Several of the major sporting events aren't attached to hotels yet they always serve alcohol ( Media city isn't attached to a hotel but sells alcohol) Have a good time :-) edited by sarahlou123 on 09/03/2015 <em>edited by sarahlou123 on 09/03/2015</em>

If you go onto www.gov.uk driving licences it tells you there You must provide 3 years address history in the UK and your passport as ID ( or other photographic ID) of you apply online they check with DWP and HMRC UAE visa and passport would prove that you don't reside in UK :-(

For the past week or maybe more, our internet seems particularly slow. I generally notice a slowness on the weekend - usually Friday and Saturday -- but it has been slow all week and even in the late evening. Has anyone heard of a break in the cable or something to explain this? Anyone else? edited by norak on 05/03/2015 Are you with DU? Mine has been awful the past week or so however Du said all is fine

My understanding is that regardless of nationality if anyone fails to appear then the court case is postponed to a date when said person/people do finally turn up. I think it is only in certain cases they can find someone guilty in absentia.

I like Gap and used to buy in the US and bought on the beginning the Premium pants here. Unfortunately they don't carry them anymore here. as my figure changed and apparently Gap changed the cuts of trousers I am not sure about the correct size. In case I order online and the trouser doesn't fit how can I return ? What is your experience? TIA Is the return time 30 days? If so then I would use one of the couriers to return as they should get them back to Gap within the time frame

Hi sarahlou, yes we can sponsor a nanny under our own company Sorry I cannot give you advice on any agencies I doubt you will find one here unless you advertise yourself through Dubizzle etc. You may need to pay a very attractive salary to hire a Western European etc ( If that is your preference) and perhaps market it as a personal assistant who works in the house and takes care of the children etc. I imagine many families may do this Good Luck

@ polly - doesn't the new "non-extension" rule only apply to those who are required to apply for a visa before they travel, not to those who can get a visa on arrival? Ah maybe - I thought thought this was everyone, even incl. me - as I am currently on a tourist visa. My mate is doing visa runs at present with no bother Polly But is there an option of going to the immigration office and asking for an extension? If you can't do a visa run? I don't know, I would assume so otherwise she wouldn't be able to go to Hatta She does Hatta as it is cheaper. I think you can renew once at immigration but then have to do visa runs/exit etc

Hello everyone, Does anyone know where to look for a qualified nanny, not maid, in Dubai? Are there any agencies here or in Europe that we could get in touch with? Many thanks P I think most are maids not nanny's and they don't go through the same rigorous checks here that other countries adopt. I think the problem lies with nationality as they are classed as domestic staff and only certain nationals can fall under this. I am sure some families have Europeans etc but not many. They will be like gold dust

Did you get anywhere with this? I am looking for a British nanny to work 2 mornings a week ie from 9am - 2pm. Any recommendations? They will be like gold dust and being able to sponsor them may be a problem too Do you or your Husband own a company that can sponsor a person?

When the part time work law is discussed on the radio, and in newspaper articles, it is generally referring to working part time for another employer with your original employer's approval. It is not talking about the number of hours per week you work. As long as you have a ministry contract, labour card etc, generally the number of hours you actually work is determined between you and your employer. As long as you have everything documented and signed, MOL is usually only concerned with whether not the employee is going over the stipulated hours per week in the labour law. http://www.emirates247.com/news/emirates/uae-employees-allowed-to-work-part-time-at-another-job-mol-2014-09-23-1.563850

The only thing I had to do was cover the cushions as they were a beige colour and got dirty I had them covered with waterproof fabric which only cost me 600 so 1800 in total I would shop around and ask for a discount with cash :-)

For an outdoor table that seats six, no umbrella included? Please let me know what you paid for your outdoor furniture (and where) I don't know anything about the market here. I have a 3 seater, 2 seater with glass table, cushions included , bought it from ACE in the sale about a year ago and mine was 1200 That seems very pricey

For those days where you really can see the hairs of your legs coming through, I want to start wearing nude coloured tights, slightly tanned but to match my skin colour of course, nude very natural looking tights. Can anyone recommend brand and where to get them from. I've seen quite a few ladies with flawless looking legs recently only to stare right at them in the lift and find they're wearing tights.... Sneaky... :D I want ;) Debenhams and occasionally Matalan
