I always put in physical address, Aramex will only deliver to an address anyway. I never had any problems and I have used them for over 8 years on Dubai. My order could sometimes take up to 3 weeks, so don't panic if it isn;t there after 1 week. It also depends on what you order, shampoo and conditioner sometimes too up to 3 weeks, most makeup 2 weeks. Good luck edited by TimTam on 04/09/2014 Thanks It is the only place I can get the big 1L bottles of Kerastace

The Sheraton does ladies day on a Saturday 110AED for the use of pool and beach You get the 110AED back in food and beverage but you have to get there before 11am I believe Nasimi is cheap too although one of my favourites is Zero Gravity next to The Habtoor They have the best and comfiest sunbeds ever!

No Cabanas You can hire plastic sunbeds and umbrellas cheaply but you don't get a sunbed pad on the bed so its uncomfortable.I take my own They are only cafes selling fast food. If you go on a Friday then go very early in the morning as it gets packed. Saturday not so much. It is a beautiful beach but basic unlike the hotels which will have Cabanas but you will have to pay 250PP

Hi ladies! Was wondering if you could help me. A visiting friend is a UK passport holder and would like to visit and stay with her friend in Kuwait for 4-5 days. Any suggestions as to how she can get a Kuwait visit visa? All the sites I've checked say that only companies or relatives can sponsor for visit visas. Its given on arrival as Dubai is http://www.kuwaitiah.net/visa1.html

Dear all, I'm desperately looking for summer trousers at the moment. Yes, there are masses of trousers around, but I hate this skinny style or trousers with tight lower legs. My ideal trousers would have widish straight to flared at bottom, from cotton and with biggish pockets, basically some kind of outdoorsy/cargopants. Any idea where to look? Do you have a M&S

Hi I have been told that to get repairs or services for cars is cheaper in Satwa than going to say your car dealership. Please can anyone recommend a reputable garage I can take my car too since I have been quoted a ridculous price for sorting the AC out. TIA Have you tried the Western run garages in Al Quoz? I have taken my VW many times as Al Naboodah was way overpriced for the simple things that needed doing No I havent..whereabouts are they and do you have a number perhaps? thanks I use AAA they have a website and location is on there

Dubai hasn't done it for a few years. As Izzy said they use to do it around Ramadan but they didn't this year. I highly doubt they will give you a discount either. ( I wish )

No you don't The law clearly states he is can only evict you for one of four reasons He is moving in ( Has no other properties to live in) Moving a family member in ( Has to prove this) Building is being demolished Major structural repair He has to give you 12 months notice by notary public You have the right to stay and I would not get into an email or phone battle with him I would send him the below link ( Article 25) where is clearly states 12 months and if he has a problem tell him to go to the Rent Committee http://www.bhomes.com/pdf/law-no-33-2008.pdf

My dear friend who lives in Ireland had a new procedure called Veinous Closed. She said it's the best one. No anaesthetic and done as a day procedure. It burns the vein out completely so less likely to come back. She had the regular removal done in 2002 and it came back. Laser she said good if it's a superficial one but surgery is required for varicose Good luck

I would assume a high street shop in the UK or US would be subject to the consumer laws therefore would not be selling stolen goods. I know that market stalls etc could sell hooky goods but a shop. Surely people would talk about "How cheap the items were" which would get tongues wagging and if the items were stolen etc then the police would get involved.

Ok, so apologies for the stupid question, but I have to take hubby on a visa run next week. Do we have to go into the immigration building or just drive round and they stamp his passport? Do I need to do anything? First time at this and no idea. Thank you :) You have to go into the building

Ok, I guess I'm in the minority here. But I know I'd rather have been raised by my mother - no matter where or how - than by anyone else and I assume that's the case for most people. I don't like the idea of any child being separated from their Mum however in jail most prisoners are bunking with other prisoners who may be in jail for horrific offenses. I don't know if I would want my child growing up with those sorts of people around them.

I normally fill in the po box however Aramex will deliver to your address, don't think they can deliver to a po box, may be wrong though. I usually receive a text message to tell me when my package is due for delivery too. Never had a problem with the delivery and I order from them all the time. Hope this helps Thank you so much It let me put the payment through without the po box so lets see I am excited now as I have saved 300AED buying it through here rather than in the shops

Hi There is a scroll down menu which gives you the option to choose your delivery method. First one is registered post which takes ages, second one is Aramex which is free and much quicker and you can have this delivered to a physical address rather than po box, I always choose Aramex and receive the order within a week. It says you have to put a PO Box number in on the left handside of the order page Do I leave that blank then as there is a red asterix next to it denoting it needs to be completed I hope this makes sense and thanks for replying

According to 7days, prisoners will be allocated "visiting times" for their children because being raised by total strangers is meant to give these already disadvantaged children a better life. Who thinks this is a good idea? I know that children should be close to their Mums but being born in prison is awful I am on the fence with this one as who would want their child being raised in prison or away from them. Its a hard one and I haven't any children

Which is why I didn't bother looking and just posted the info ;) I have never yet found a special offer from Emirates, even when not flying to the UK :( Me neither 6600 for the Summer was just far too much Sayng that, we've had two free flights each to Cyprus using our UAE Airmiles :) I used to use EK a lot but they halved their airmiles which meant trying to increase them was impossible. I was silver and almost gold but now blue :-(

Thanks for replies everyone. I am aware of the salaries that can be achieved for these nannies working privately for families, I am also aware that not all of them are salary driven - many go and nanny in ski resorts and summer destinations where they earn less but have different experiences. I am interested to know if there are any newly qualifieds ( perhaps living with their parents) working out here - not wanting a family job or perhaps returners working part time or even owners/managers here with a Norland/Chiltern training. If there are any non-working Norland/Chiltern Mummies here you could also probably help me with the advice I need. TIA I think there may not be any here as I believe they cannot be sponsored the usual maid ( child carer) way if that makes sense. They may have to be sponsored by Husbands company as they couldn't be on a regular maid visa due to nationality. I have worked with several nurseries here and most if not all are NNEB ladies. In 8 years I have never come across a Norland/Chiltern lady

Most nursery nurses from the UK earn up to 12,000AED a month some even less ( Usually NNEB qualified only) I highly doubt they would have any ladies from Norland or Chiltern here

Email has just landed offering 'Exclusive Business Class and Economy Class special fares". Book by 11th Sept, travel 10th Sept to 30th November. Not to my neck of the woods though :-( I've given up looking. :( I just posted for others. I'm going KLM with the extra leg room seats for 3000AED less!! One stop off but I don't mind that I love EK but cant justify over 1000GBP when its only 300GBP the other way :-(

shop bought creams will not get rid of fine lines or wrinkles etc If you have sensitive skin as I do steer clear of Chanel. I used one of their night moisturisers and it made my skin so red and sore. Dermalogica do an age smart range and you can buy the trial sizes from most Boots stores In my opinion ( only mine) that is one of the best skincare ranges to brighten perk up dull skin
