Doctor Abhay is wonderful. He is a completely ethical doctor for whom surgery is a last resort rather than the first port of call. He has an excellent reputation.

Raffles spa. You can also use their pool and facilities before and after your treatment. You can either go with a friend and split the cost between you which makes for a lovely treat for you both or go alone and pay in full for the first treatment and then your return visit will be free.

Eggs baked in beef tomatoes. Scoop out the flesh from the tomato, chop and season. Bake tomato shell for 10 mins. Spoon some of chopped tomato back into shell, put an egg on top sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 15 mins or until the egg is set.

Went last night most stalls full of tat that have nothing to do with country they are meant to represent. Tunisia had lovely pottery and Greece and Spain had nice olive oil as did Tunisia. It got very busy by 7. Too many buggies in smal spaces. India was nice and more spacious.

I wonder if a job in your field actually exists here, the compensation and benefits culture prevalent in the States and Europe hasn't hit here yet so Dubai may not be the place for you. Gardenlover is right you will need a big injection of cash to support you while you look for a job here and to set you up. The cost of living is high here and you may want to do a little more research. For food prices etc you could look at trolley.ae to give you some idea. Good luck with your search.

A trip where "all the teachers were drinikng". There is often a perception gap with children who say "everyone in my class does x y z, everyone in my class is allowed to....." and they apply the same judgements to adults too, does the OP know this for a fact or could this be an exaggeration...?

There may well be designated teachers who don't drink at dinner who are responsible for emergency situations on a particular evening. A bottle on a table doesn't mean everyone at that table is imbibing.

Sorry not same KG! Someone else...... Happy to drink coffee!! Am a teacher and was still not impressed to see! Am not classifying teachers as the same, was just an observation that surprised me and didn't expect these responses! Don't we all want our children to be safe? "What's wrong with these teachers?" from your first post How else can you interpret that comment?

Yes you should be concerned about this but please don't tar all teachers with the same brush. Your comments are highly offensive to the very many hard working dedicated professionals out there.

Without wishing to appear rude why do you want to know? It would be best to ask the schools directly rather than take the word of anyone who hasn't actually seen the paper. If it is because your DD or DS has missed the test then it is unlikely you will get information that will put your child at an advantage. If I have misread the situation then I apologise. edited by sarassister on 20/01/2013

Naomi at the Osteopathic health centre is a massage therapist and does excellent deep tissue massage- not for the cowardly though. Also they do a Pilates class on Saturday evenings for a small group with Angela who is also excellent and is really good at assessing the needs of an individual

I absolutely love my Kindle but my Mum doesn't use hers. It was a Christmas gift from my cousin. One of the reasons is that she is of a generation where she won't use her credit card on the internet and therefore won't buy books. We tried to circumvent this by getting her kindle vouchers on amazon but she still wasn't convinced. I would say in some respects it would depend on her and how she feels about these things.

I would say it would depend on the age of your children in part. The younger one may well have more energy if you have little ones. However the older lady has lots of experience and a proven track record especially if she has references.
