Wow Elle that sounds great. I have also been to Dalma and have short fine hair. She gave me a great cut which was very different from my usual but I loved it. It has lasted well too. I was wondering about getting her to colour it but pollydxb you seem to have answered my question.

Just to add, I think Repton school may be the only school here with the same name as an English one which actually does have affiliations with its namesake in the UK. Does it still? I thought that like a number of public schools in UK that branch out overseas the only association that is remaining is the name.

Am currently seeing Dominic for L4/5 problem as follow up from Dr. Zbiggy. He is great and I have total confidence in him. He has made a real difference.

I would recommend Dr Zbiggy Brodinski at the Dubai Bone and joint centre. I was referred to him by my GP because he is not only a good back specialist but is an ethical doctor who does not push people into unnecessary surgery. One thing that really helped me was ferrum phos and magnesium phos tissue salts as I am unable to take pain killers or anti inflammatories. Good Luck and Get well soon

Has anyone's machine broken down with it constantly giving the message that the tank needs to be filled with water, even though the tank is full? If so did you have to replace the tank or did they fix the sensor? Many Thanks if anyone can help

It may depend where you are going or the airline. Friends tried to go to Jordan last year and airline stopped them as had less than 6 months on passport.

North to South. Get the train. A great experience. From Hanoi go as far South as Hue and break the journey there and then break it again on the way South although avoid Natrang. If you look at the Intrepid travel website and their trips and itineraries, they will give you some ideas of how you could travel. I did a North to South trip with them and it was excellent.

You must see a doctor. Taking ural without seeing a doctor can be dangerous as Ural just masks symtpoms which are still present and the infection can get worse. Although Captain Jackie was prescribed Ciprobay by a doctor, only take this drug if prescribed the side effects can be horrific.

Luang Prabang in Laos. Why not celebrate for the year? Give yourself a monthly challenge or treat. It could start with your birthday trip and for the rest of the year it might be a skill or an activity that you've always wanted to try or something you haven't done for a long time. Alternatively someone in your family or a friend could give you your challenges. My sister did them for me and they ranged from an Italian cookery school to horse riding and a spa treatment.

I am going to Ethiopia next week to a school for incredibly disadvantaged kids. One thing that UNICEF has identified is that owning a school bag has a really positive impact on young children. These would be fab for these little ones if you felt that it was something you would like to do. I understand if you were looking for something more local.

Dr Petherbridge at Keith Nicholl Medical centre would tick all your boxes. He is fantastic and totally ethical. Have heard very good things about Bernard Fischer and Sue Norton too.

I have just moved out of the Greens , lived there 6 years in phase 1 build in St.3. I loved living there for the community feel but during my time there I noticed that services were being reduced eg less security guards, window washing less frequent etc. My appartment had some really nasty cracks in it and also the plaster on the main bedroom ceiling was beginning to fall down. Phase 1 are meant to be the better build! Also parking is a major headache and I know from my neighbours that getting a second parking space is exceptionally difficult.

You can either get the train to Paddington and then taxi across London or... I can really recommend a company based near Bath that does door to door. I used them to come back from Heathrow in the summer to near Chippenham it was 150 pounds. Once you factor in the train fares/ taxi fares especially if there is more than one of you, this is actually very reasonable. The car was absolutely immaculate and really comfortable. Midway motor travel 01249 716757 e-mail [email protected] I used this company because the owner stopped and helped us once when we had an accident on the motorway and was a real knight in shining armour.

I tried this Option last week and was told by the service provider it wouldn't work very well and was a waste of money. I had my phone and internet installed within 2 days of applying granted it was to an appartment. I would suggest that if you were going to an appartment then you might be lucky.

Sue R is right. Although I totally understand your feelings of frustration, and been tempted to block in the car that has taken my space, you may be better to just be measured and factual in your response. Any admission of "barbaric behaviour" from you could be used aginst you if this gets really nasty and they call the police ( even though you are the wronged party.) Good Luck with this, parking is such a major issue and these things cause so much unnecessary stress.

I don't think you can do anything about this other than register your concern. If someone is applying for a job and have handed in their notice, they are entitled to go for interviews to find a new job. They do not chose the interview dates so this is beyond their control too and I am sure that they themselves aren't happy about missing classes These interviews are often given at very short notice. They should be setting work for when they miss classes and this if nothing else will build independent learning skills ready for higher education if students are left to work on their own. There is no such thing as a core A Level subject, they all matter at this stage, that said I understand your frustrations.

Hiccup I can see you have received lots of good advice and help and support form the other ladies. Someone mentioned supplements, last year I discovered through a doctor and unwillingness to take anti depressants that Omega 3 oils have been proven to help in cases of depression. Some studies have been done in Canada which prove their success. The drug companies however don't want this too heavily publicised as there is no money in it. Hope this helps and that tomorrow is a better day.

Good news that WIS is starting BTEC Dubai has had a need for this for years. I think that the Aviation College still does some coursess too and there was a place in Sharjah which did courses for Mechanics. I would say that schools asking for As and A*s is less to do with intellectual snobbery but more to do with the gap between GCSE and A Level. For those kids who aren't inclined towards the academic rigours of A Levels and whose strengths lie in other areas this policy is designed to help them and not to put them through two years of misery, having their confidence knocked because of the demands of the course and them left feeling demotivated.
