hi i found this on this site?? is it uptodate and current - how do i get to Al madam round about??? Sharjah/Kalba Route to Oman Directions Turn left at the Al Madam roundabout and get onto the E55 heading to Al Malaiha. Turn into the Sharjah/Kalba road (signpost - Shawka). Turn rights towards Hatta onto the E44 after around 25-30 kilometres, thereby avoiding Omani territory and moving on to the Al Wajaja border post. Taking this route will add only 30 minutes onto your journey, rather than an hour or two of extra driving when you're turned away and told to loop around.

hello x i have the Great lengths extension in , used them for years, same reason i have thin hair xx whats lovely you can't see them and now they can make them even smaller so doesn't pull the hair x i can't be without mine x al wasl road branch x

Thank you IndieOz , we have been kept in the loop re the collapse, its more so the FA who 'sold' it to us, and other things as well. We were pretty naive as we didn't pay attention to what he was doing as we trusted him, but lessons learned big time. Some basics: NEVER put ALL your money in one investment (BASIC BASIC RULE OF INVESTING ANY GOOD FA WOULD NEVER OF EVEN SUGGESTED THIS, A SALESMAN WOULD) Dxb_expat79 are you still wanting to meet? ahh i know the feeling xx have a look at outback organics from UK, been created for this kind of problem xx think its arrived here but only in a few places xx they have some products for this to help xx fruit wax gave me a terrible reaction xx i have waxed since i was 17 and never been enjoyable, but this system has helped me a lot xx even in the bikini area x

hi, a lot if not most of the Finance houses were offering this fund at some time or another from what i understand, its so hard to sort this one out, as its more personal than ever, we trusted someone who said it was safe as houses,but its not just this its other things as well that have happened since and we can't seem to get any answers, i just need to know if there is someone i can go to to speak to, as i know the person is still talking to people about there hard earned cash and future investments which is really sad and concerns me. Are you in this area Tru Blue? But yes people lost thousands of aed thousands.......................and its not coming back anytime soon if you ask me but there are far to many stories floating around the market.

HI, Still suffering from this and the bad advice we received on this and several other polices, I know we have lost the money, and I can learn to live with that, but I would like to know if there is anything we can do to stop this happening to others, as the FA is still practicing here? we were placed in high risk funds when we asked not to be, all our money went into one investment, since learned this is a basic no no, and any 'dummy' would know this, including myself in that statement as i trusted this FA. Are any laws in place yet? do you have to be qualified? Thanks

MY DAUGHTER HAS ONE AND LOVES IT, WE BOUGHT IT FROM A LADY WHO MAKES AND DESGNS HER OWN, ON THE LITTLE MAJILIS I THINK AROUND 360??? IF I REMEMBER BUT THEY ARE REALLY GOOD AND LIKE BEFORE JUST ALWAYS BE WITH THEM.

thank you so much for all your help. i just can't believe in this day and age, with all the regulations around the world that here in Dubai we cannot stop these 'sales men' its awful what this so called IFA has done, not to just us but many people and still has clients.........i will try the central bank and see.............but don't they have to have some kind of qualification? surely now they must?

hi dolly doo, like wise feel very stupid and now very angry. sorry to reignite this but has anything changed since my last post, i just can't believe these people 'salesmen' are allowed to get away with it. more recently i bummed into someone who had just moved here and done a 3 month training program in malta?? and now were advising people on where to put their money? i just want to know if they have to be qualified and if these IFAs are regulated by anybody, i get if they are qualified and can give general advice on investments, BUT if SOMEONE is not can they be stopped before hurting more people and loosing their hard earned money.

no, its 30 days from the airport, first off, then if you do a visa run to hatta on the 30 or before 30 day you then get 39 days i.e. the 10 day grace period. learnt the hard way, mum landed thought she had grace period drove down on day 39, 9 days fine!

HI Look closely, do you really need an IFA?? or can you self manage your own affairs, the markets are shocking a the moment, everything else, Life assurances, wills, school savings plans, you can source yourself, cut out the "salesman" who gets his commission for ages and do it yourself. we were stung badly, and now, self manage, talk to some companies, take the info but ultimately ask do you really need them, and PLEASE PLEASE ask them to be transparent on charges, commissions etc........ good luck Currently looking for a financial advisor and a bit nervous any tips or recommendations greatly appreciated edited by Rh1612 on 17/11/2014

wow, that is good to read, how many more "salesmen" are out here giving "advice" to expats and not qualified. I was at gymnastics the other day and a woman just moved here, said her husband who worked in IT had been offered a job as an IFA, they sent him on a 2 month training course???? Scarey.............

Can't agree more with posts below, they are the only ones who make money, once signed up you never hear from them again, majority are salesmen! Not financial advisors. Don't give them any more of your hard earned cash. We had a policy that had to make over 10 per cent before we would see anything......why ...... All there hidden charges and fingers in the pie, then they say let's switch your funds, yer course they earn out if it again, the client never wins!

hi i think they all charge for a blow dry on top.......i get mine done a root colour, I'm brunette, i think its approx 250aed then 150 for blow dry on top, shoulder length hair. I've bought the body book, which has 2 for1 offers in and some good salons are in there now, so that saves me a bit x hope it goes well xx
