Looking at the body for life challenge now. The transformations are amazing. I am a fan of the eat less move more concept. I know I have consumed too much and not worked it off so am left with the results. I am in the obese category now which is shameful, never been this fat in my life! I lose weight easily but lack the motivation to change and follow a healthy lifestyle permanently. I am tall and have long, lean, limbs with tiny ankles and wrists but have developed a big fat belly which can be disguised with the correct clothing. I am a carb fiend which is why I have a round belly now, will put down the brown bread and hit the treadmill. I will channel Gwen Stefani's abs and work it all off so I can work my wardrobe again :) Looked at the transformations too seems this program also gives you a great tan too ;-)

This policy has been in place nearly 2 years now and is more than they are legally obliged to offer..... Yeah so they told me! But they should warn customers, have a noticeable sign on their counters! Not the generic posters saying customerservice. ae have a look there, as this is not a UAE policy it is a Debenhams one! It is not a Debenhams policy but one of the franchise holder!

Yes it's an apple repeater just to extend the wireless signal to the back of the house, due to concrete walls.

You need to get them treated! I had gallstones which eventually caused pancreatitis, my liver started to fail, my lung collapsed and ended up in hospital for a month :( I have now had my gallbladder removed with no problems.

I would also be interested, but I can only find info through a "financial advice" company and I don't really want to give them my email and number as they are a pain in the butt once they have your details!! edited by Sharry on 10/03/2013

Howdra is 2750 a month with a 5000 deposit and I can't remember how much the admin fees were, plus you need to pay for the Maids food and toiletries.

It used to be managed by Southern Sun, but they got kicked out and now Emaar are managing it. I was there last week and food was okay, but the drinks are much more expensive and the service was terrible!!! And you know how much time I used to spend there! ;-)

Yes - there are only 2 legal ways of employing a housemaid - by sponsoring yourself or by [b'>employing through a maid agency[/b'>. . Before you give out such advice, I recommend that you contact the DED and ask them if this company has the legal activities for such a service. Howdra does Did you check on this? Up till now the DED does not even have an activity for maids to be hired out, so it would be funny if they did. Anyway their categories include cleaners but not to be live in like a maid. Wonder if it is because there visas are Abu Dhabi ? We pay Howdra 2500 and our maid get about a 1000 from the agency plus food money from us, in my opinion this is what she signed up for with the agency so what she gets paid is not really my issue... as harsh as it seems! We had a choice of three maids and have exchanged once, our new maid has been with us for over a year with no issues, she is happy with Howdra and has just signed up for another two years so it can't be all bad :-)

We parked in the multi story behind the Novotel and walked through as the Metro would be off when it finished and no doubt a huge taxi queue...... Ok it took 15 mins to get out the car park and it cost 20 dirhams but was easy enough :-)

I don't know who you are talking about but aren't Scots Brits? Depends who you ask ;-) Well this Scot is a Brit too. [b'>It's usually hard nosed rather naive nationalists who spout forth about not being British and are an embarrassment to be honest[/b'>, including Mr Murray!! No tennis fan but wish him well in any case. :) Quite a silly statement to make! I would call myself Scottish the same way as a person from England would call themselves English!

If it is a virus the antibiotics won't help and you just need to let it run its course. I would rather try another antibiotic than subject my son to a blood test. Hope she is better soon

I use Howdra I pay 2500 a month of which the maid gets 1000, plus toiletries and 300 food money from us. It might be more expensive than sponsoring one ourselves, but we don't have any risks and when decide we no longer want/need her the agency take her back.

Some of circuit factories adverts can be a bit shocking, but the results you get are shockingly good, I have lost over two stone in just under three months, follow what they tell you and you will lose weight and inches! umm but some people put ethics first :) Suppose it depends if you want a gym that is "politically" correct or one who does what they claim to do.... get results :) And guess their adverts are working as people know who they are.

I have a Howrda live in maid, there were not many to choose from and our first maid only lasted 4 months before we asked to change her. The 2nd one has been with us a year and is due to go home this month she is great compared to the first one and we have had no issues with Howdra, and it can't be that bad if our maid is coming back to Howdra and back to us in a months time.

Here's a tip.....bah Humbug is for Christmas.....there isn't one for people who sit inside with their lights on not giving CHILDREN a SMALL treat! Oh wait....I think there is and we all understand that you're too busy polishing up the BROOM to RIDE LATER! I would not mind giving a small treat if they had manners alI I ask for is a simple thank you,but the chances of that are none, so my lights are on and the door unanswered.

To be fair, if you don't ask you don't get. I know some crew travel very light and so have lots of luggage space, as someone mentioned some passengers travel with hand luggage only (me for one!). I don't think asking was wrong, people did kick off quite quickly without the OP even posting a second time. But I don't think Amelia did her any favours in her responses
