Stuff with stilton, pan fry quickly on both sides then pop in oven for about 15 mins Then make a sauce: Saute onions an garlic until soft, add 4 table spoons white wine and simmer. Ad 5 tablespoons double cream, heat gently and then crumble more stilton in and wait until it melts. Serve with sauteed potatoes and veg or a salad oohh..this sounds yummy ..what tempt pls? temperature for the chicken? 420 for 15 mins shoul do it but cut through one to make sure it is cooked all the way through. Stuffed with goats cheese and thyme and wrapped in bacon (or facon), then drizzed with olive oil and roasted in oven with cherry tomatoes, courgettes or any other vegetables you have lying around. hhmm... whats facon? *scratch head*

truthfully... i wudn't bother.. if she was smart, she wouldn't have placed her precious bag near a glass of wine, anything can or can't happen... She said don't worry right, so take her word for it.. don't worry... S The thing is, she did put it on a chair so it was safe from the ground and any potential danger! just not safe from my clumsy hands!! Wine can have that affect! agree!! :p

Don't feel bad... I failed 5 times in Bahrain before passing it in Abu Dhabi 3 years later ( ok...so I gave up for awhile ) but I really really regret not persevering it... You do also realise that they have quotas to pass per day... I know this is gonna sound so cruel, but I looked at it this way.... If the sillier people out there passing it, I sure can!!! So.... here's some cyber encouragement!! :)

thanks shjbelle don't mind what cuisine, just want something nice (its my sister's first time in DXB) but i don't want it to be extortionate...think bubblicious might be a bit too pricey....its aed450 if you want alcohol! I agree... rip off!! hahah... i'm going to the pyramids this weekend.. not sure if there is a child's play area.. 3 rests at 130dhs for non alcohol ...

Thank God I don't have a gun! She is seriously stressing me out! I know she means well BUT! I just had my first baby 4 weeks ago and bless her she offered to help for which I am more than grateful. DS was a dream baby in the first 2 weeks but after a growth spurge of sort he is finding it very difficult to settle and likes to be held and cradled but once he is asleep he goes on for a good few hours. It's true that he likes to nurse often and stays on for a long time but he is gaining weight and has a good nappy "output" Anyhow, my MIL insist on me not having enough milk and she comments on every whimper as "ahhh, poor little thing he is hungry!!" making me feel totally ****! And now she is going on about toping him up with formula so "poor little thing can grow" Arggghhhhh!!!!!! She might have a point, don't ignore her advise completely. your son was satisfied the first 2 weeks, after that he was on and off. Might be that your quality of breast milk has reduced. Can't harm the baby to give him a bottle in between and see how he reacts. what??? no!!!! be patient.. my b/milk was low at that point too..do a skin to skin contact with your LO... that is my advise from my doula and it worked!! *hugs*

You will get your own suite, actually all the maternity wards are suite...there is a separate room of sofa for your guests to rest/sit or you to welcome your guest when you can move..you are encouraged to move... oh..there is also a separate tele in the 'sofa room' if that matters... the nurses are great with me... Because I did my ante-natal classes at the hospital, given by a midwife, she was also there when I was in labour.. Everyone was very friendly, from Dr. Andrea to the midwife to the paed nurses to the housekeeping ladies and even the ladies who brings in your food... Dr. Andrea came in to check once in a while during the labour period but the nurses are always on call to her.. I didn't really mind as I had my DH and my doula to accompany me during the labour...(get a doula!!! ) Dr. Andrea made the whole delivery smooth and stress free ... you won't regret her.. Oh..the paed nurse comes to check on your LO, they take your LO at night, which I truly recommend as you have your WHOLE life with LO later on ;), ask them what time they give LO's first bath so that you can learn as well, if you have any problems with latching, call and they will come in... they were truly amazed that I walked to the nursery the next mng.. hehe... The other set of nurses who takes care of the mum comes in with pain relief, check if you are ok all the time..

She was my doc.. and I can't recommend her enough.. while pregnant, she will tell you only what you need to know.. she always asked me if I've got any questions and I said no as I don't wish to confuse/get myself worked up with what ifs.. she's got a great sense of humour altho you need to find it to get her cracking..lol IMH is great!! Let me know if you have specific questions and I'll gladly share!! S

I also posted on the main board...it really does sound like colic. Is she bringing her knees up? Try the car seat and also try putting her on her tummy over your knee or 'rowing' with her feet.. u swaddle her?
