I am trying to buy an item from ebay USA and it says it ships worldwide, but there is no option of changing the country. I know i can use my S&S account but i thought shipping directly might be faster. Help please. Where you don't have the option? In your account or where? i am not signed in ebay as i forgot my password - if this is what you mean. Under shipping and payment, it says shipping to: Worldwide. Change country: United states --> cant scroll it up and down. I guess is because you are not signed in.

They say the contract is at the guys offices and because he is a VIP they cannot push him or go to his home to sign? Lame excuse!! Your friend should go to better homes and insist, not over the phone. If they don't react immediately, same day should go to Rent Committee. As in immediately!

And tell him to go directly into Betterhomes office and demand to see the manager then refuse to leave until they resolve this. Something is definitely not right about this, even if someone is ill they can still sign the contract. I'd check what cheques Betterhomes have cashed and as others have said, get in touch with RERA asap. Betterhomes are usually much more professional than this. Please don't send her to RERA, is Rent Committee that deals with these issues!!

As I always mentioned here: the body that is in charge of disputes between landlords and tenants is RENT COMMITTEE, not RERA (which is the Reagulatory Agency for Real Estate as the name says!!). Your friend should tell BH that he will address the issue to the Rent Committee. Hope he has copies of the cheques he handed out. He should put this together with his bank statement that deposit and agency fee has been paid and, if BH doesn't react, he should go to Rent Committee asap!

What kind of paperwork do you have? I have a difficult time that anyone in the gold souq would buy a bar without having it assayed here. They need to test the purity which cannot be done by simply weighing it. Is true, they can do x-ray or a fire assay &melt. Depends also on the bar size, if it is hallmarked or not... Refineries do perform such tests but takes time, I say gie it a try anyway.

Mr. Mansour is very nice. Bring receipts with you and a copy of the contract. But, as far as the villa painting when you leave, is kind of a norm/rule! Anyway, go there in the morning, preferably 9-10 am and ask them. Gold souq is your best option. After 5 pm they purchase gold, all you need is to have an ID with you (preferrably passport or driving license if not Emirates ID)&gt; They will weigh the bar and offer you a price. Usually they offer 75-80% of the market price. As of yesterday's LME (London Market Exchange) the price is 180 DHS/gram of 22 cts gold and 146 DHS/gram for 18 cts. There are several shops purchasing, they have signs outside the shops. Good luck.

The Agency also issues the rules and regulations that qualify activities of brokerage, lease contract registration and certification, as well as issues license for real estate development entities.

hello everyone, is the plant soul open today and does anyone know the normal opening hours? thanks. Is open 7 days a week, only Friday they start later. I assume you're talking about Warsan souq off the Academic city road. They open very early in the morning and usually is opened till late, been there even around 10 pm.

Coming from Uptown Mirdif turn right at the big traffic light (is just after the Shorooq traffic light) and drive straight ahead keeping always left lane, over the bridge (pay attention to the radar limit 80 before bridge and 100 after). Pass Festival City right side and keep straight ahead on AlKhail road until you will see the signs for right Trade Center and Z'abeel, take that one and keep straight till Trade center roundabout. There you have to do the roundabout and take the Shk Zayed exit. Good luck, beeb doing this for the last 6 years.

@ mrswhippy... They know that I don't have a copy of the new agreement as I wasn't around when this all happened,so are using the old one against me. If you don't have a copy of the new agreement then i am not sure it is legal - you know that here, emails are not classed as legally binding - but i am not a lawyer; and am sure that you have sought legal advise. Old agreement was in place when rental contract was signed. So yes, fully legal, new agreement or not. And emails are accepted in court here, but as I said, no need for OP to have new agreement.

Savnnah, Rent Committee is the answer, go there with your papers and they will advise you! You are in you right with a valid contract and payment done. Your LL is abusing his role and the rent committee usually calls them and quiets them. Change locks, he has no right visit you unannounced or threaten you. If he shows up and threatens you,call police.

We did this in our garden: gazebo from ACE, curtains, flowing chiffon + decorations from Dragon mart and Majlis (the arabic seating) from Dragonmart (shopGBN07). Looks nice! Ah, and some shishas...:D Thank you! How much was your gazebo from ACE? And so you had to add curtains from Dragonmart? Was this the big garden shop on the left side? I love it there! Think was around 700 AED. Is in wrought iron, with mesh and second cover. I bought the transparent chiffon from Dragonmart (3 colours) to match the majlis cushions, plus some other decoration and I made the inside curtains myself. Flowing ones. The shop I indicated is inside, on the right hand side as you come from main entrance. They also did a carpet for the tent.

The Damas Tree (Conocarpus lancifolius) is used widely throughout the Middle East especially in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan and Kenya. I have not heard of a felling policy in any of these countries and you have to ask yourself why such a programme is being promoted by landscaping companies and Emaar? True the roots will seek water like ALL trees and planting trees next to walls is a no no but not just for the Damas tree. Highly suspicious if you ask me... We have our walls lined with Damas trees. They were huge, 10-12 m high and we trimmed them down to abt 2 m. At the beginning they were ugly stumps, but now, after 3 mths, they are lovely. The shape is rounded, our gardener trims them regularly. He's horticultural engineer and said they are not a threat to the house or walls, as the irrigation provides them enough water. We had the drainage checked a month ago, no issues and the trees were planted when the house was built, 3-4 years ago. I won't think removing them, not at all.

The closer my DD gets with my nanny ..... The more guilty I feel. Like I have no excuse to not be doing everything with her when I don't work. But I was drowning without having help ..... I couldn't go to the gym, I couldn't take a shower, I couldn't eat my lunch, I couldn't go out at night with my husband ..... Anyone else?? Please no judgemental comments .... I have a helper and I'm incredibly blessed and fortunate. I know that! But I just don't understand how people juggle their lives and a baby without any help or support?! Better to be a happy mom, with a helper, so you have time for yourself and then enjoy time with your kids then a frustrated super mom-wife-working woman who has no time at all. Is important not only how much time you spend with your kids, but also the quality of it. So no, don't feel guilty!!!

I think you are completely right about considering adoption and suggesting it but I fear that the tone of some of the pro-adoption posts may indadvertedly come across as dogmatic (excuse the pun...), aggressive and bullying and it doesn't help your cause. I say this not to be unpleasant but to explain why you get some very negative reactions. Like ;) I understand the passion but the way is projected gives sometimes the impression of self righteousness! And is a pity as the passion is well directed...
