Welcome back Insanity buddy! WOW what a dreadful time you've had but glad to hear you have sorted most of it out. Good luck with the new maid too. Well I'm just finishing off week 3 of Month 1 - still loving it! I am really pushing myself now - trying to get the form right on every set, getting deeper into the squats and higher with the jumps! BUT I still can't do the Level 2 Drills without a break!!!!! I don't think I'll ever get there either!! Sweating more than I did the first time round and have had to resort to using really sexy sweatbands - otherwise I end up sliding all over the place! I have lost 3kgs - so so happy about that - I'm really pleased with the way my body is looking now too - almost down another dress size - reckon by the time I finish this time I will have reached my goal. Great that you are going to start again and I think you will still see the benefits even with just doing it every other day. It is so addictive and I'm really wondering how I'm going to be when I finally finish. I don't at the moment want to do it all again but.... I can see myself changing my mind pretty quickly. Keep posting on progress!

Hey Pepito Well done on getting started and I hope you get the technical issues sorted out! I'm still plugging away at Month 1 - just finishing off my week 2 and still enjoying it!! I'm not sure about SEY83 - I do hope she's OK - I don't think she's been on the forum for a while now. Hopefully she'll get in touch soon but I suspect she's got a whole heap of problems to sort out after her maid did a runner.

Yay Pepito! Great news... (and I won't ask how you got it!!!!) You'll start off with the fitness test so good luck with that - make sure you keep a note of your rep counts - then the madness begins! It's brutal so don't beat yourself up if you don't even manage to keep going during your first warm up. Start at your own pace but really really try and push yourself as hard as you can. You will ache after the first few sessions but by the second week you will start to see improvement and that is what keeps you going. I'm starting my week 2 today... and still loving it!

You have take the first step towards your goal - so a step in the right direction - you have got a rough road ahead but you CAN do this - stay strong and remind yourself every day why you started on this journey. I have stuck a very unflattering picture of myself to my bathroom mirror in the past to remind myself every morning why I wanted and needed to lose the weight. Planning ahead is also a great idea too - good that you are doing that with your diet plan - there is less chance of you slipping up. Do you have access to a pool? Swimming is a great form of gentle/low impact exercise I cannot comment on the South Beach Diet as I've never done it but I have done Weightwatchers and Atkins in the past. I am no expert on any of this but from my personal experience it really is mind over matter - there are many ladies on here who have had successful weight loss and you can too. I wish you all the very best of luck

That is terrible SEY83 - did you not get any warnings that she would do something like that? I do feel for you - I don't think these ladies really realise how much some of us rely on them and to run away really is the worst thing they could do - why oh why she couldn't just come and talk to you to let you know she was unhappy or tell you whatever the problem was. As you say thankfully she hasn't taken anything she shouldn't have or harmed anyone - I hope your work people have been supportive and let you have some time off to sort this all out. Get the last session done and then that's it over - but it hasn't been a joke - you've completed the programme and that is what counts - you didn't give up and throw the towel in when many would have done. And of course you have your new slim bod to prove that you did work very hard indeed. I'm happily going to sweat and grunt through the programme again - Day 2 last night and I really pushed myself - found it much easier than the first time round - Month 1 seems so "easy" now!!!!!! Keep posting on what you are up to SEY83 - its been great having a "workout buddy" to share the Insanity experience with. x

Day 1 Month 1 done... oh how I have missed Insanity!! I've just about recovered from the accident - still get headaches but bumps and bruises are all OK now. I took last night's session fairly carefully and don't feel achy or anything this morning. SEY83 - CONGRATULATIONS for reaching the end!!! Please do post your results too. I bet you are so relieved that its over... but... I wonder how long it will be before you get itchy feet... have you decided what you are going to do next? Pepito - do you not know of anyone who has a shop n' ship account? I actually don't have one either but used a friends.

Oh that's a shame Pepito - I used Shop and Ship (Aramex) and had no problems at all - I thought Amazon UK did deliver to the UAE? SEY83 - have you reached the end? I'm restarting tonight - back to Day 1 - I don't think I would manage going straight back into Month 2 - I'm actually looking forward to getting back into it now.

I bought "Insanity" - and that's what the boxset is called - don't get "Insanity Asylum" as that is the next one up! Haven't done P90X but did consider - it also had very good reviews but what put me off at the time was that the sessions were just about an hour each. Not heard of "Insane Home Workout" but just googled it and it looks very similar to Insanity. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of these - when it comes to home DVD programmes I think the hardest part is incentivising yourself to keep going - having SEY83 on board with Insanity has really really helped me. Whatever you decide do keep us updated and we'll make sure you keep motivated!

Hi Pepito and SEY83 Well I've had a complete disaster... had a nasty accident over the weekend and suffered a fairly bad head trauma - to the point where I've lost a couple of days' memory... all OK physically (i.e. no broken bones) but I'm having to put Insanity on hold for at least a week - I'd be nuts to even consider attempting one of the workouts in my current state. I'm now in two minds as to whether to just pick up where I left off and continue to the end or to leave it for a month and then restart. I'm trying not to get myself too upset about this but really am so peed off that this has happened. Pepito - competely agree with all SEY83 has said - it is perfect if you have little "me" time but you must be dedicated/committed - the warm up is almost as hard as the rest of the workout! The results even after a couple of weeks are amazing - and that for me has been a huge incentive to keep going. The DVD boxset is expensive - I bought mine from Amazon in the UK - however, I see it as money well spent - it is definitely something I would go back to quite regularly. I'd recommend taking a look at some of the online reviews about Insanity too - head to the Beachbody website and also Amazon - both provide loads of information/comments etc. I am gutted that I cannot finished the programme as planned - as hard as it was I did enjoy the workouts - well maybe not at the time but certainly afterwards - you really feel as if you have achieved something after each session. SEY83 - so pleased you are nearly at the end - fantastic that you managed to work through your injury - have you decided what to do next?

I don't think its right either and I'm looking at it the same way as I do with the weight loss...! The proof is in the pudding... we can both see that we've been burning thousands of calories over the last few weeks so stuff what the scales and HRM say...!!! I think you've done amazingly well given all the other stuff you've had going on - big pat on the back for you! I was looking at the last week of the programme last night - there are six days in a row of hardcore workouts!!! Flippin nora... that is going to be one tough week but at least at the end of it there'll be no more Insanity! I've got my first Cardio + Abs session tonight which I am really struggling to feel positive about... I don't like the Cardio workout for some reason - and I know the Abs part is going to be painful! Did some research on JM Full Bod Rev and reviews were quite positive - will be interesting to hear what you think about it if you do decide to give it a go. I've decided (after Insanity) to just go back to alternating my running and the current JM DVDs I have - I do miss the running and want to make the most of it before the temperature rises. I will definitely do Insanity again but after a month or so. Best of luck with the last week and keep digging.... we can do this... we can do this... we can do this... we can do this...

Oh SEY83 - so the love/hate relationship is finally over!!!! 9 to go... WOW don't you think it has gone quickly - I was looking back at this thread and it seems just like yesterday that we got started on this madness! I'm still plugging away at my Week 2 but am finding it easier - I seem to have good workouts and then bad ones... I loved Monday's session and really felt that I had worked as hard as I could but then last night's I finished feeling that I could have done a lot better - even though during the workout I thought I was going to die!!!! Oh yes... we're nowhere near 1,000 per session - according to the HRM I'm burning 298 for Cardio, 397 calories on MIC, for MIP its 347 - which isn't much different to what I used to burn when running (and running was a darn sight easier!). Insanity is Insanity because there is no "gentle" lead up - you are straight in with the high intensity right from the word go but that's why it works so well - its the "type" of training that makes it so crazy. The P90X works on the basis of "muscle confusion" and the Charlean Extreme with the concept that "muscle burns fat" - they both look hard work to me but also ultimately give the same results (if you put the work in) they are just different "methods" of getting there. Jillian's DVDs are much "softer" but still challenging if you want them to be challenging - I've done the 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30 and "No More Trouble Zones" - all of them made we sweat (yeah OK nowhere near as much as I sweat with Insanity!). I've not done the Full Body Revolution programme - has your friend given you any feedback on it - its it weights and cardio? I'll see what I can find on the Internet about it. I'm still considering P90X as well but the length of the workouts puts me off a bit. So basically, anything we do next may feel like a step backwards but I don't think it will be - it'll just be a different way of working out - Insanity has really really kick started our fitness in an extreme way - but I'm not sure I'd be able to or indeed want to continue with that level of intensity long term - I am looking forward to not having to follow a daily programme for a while - one day of rest a week has been the toughest part for me - but I think after a break I'd be ready to get back to it!!! That is actually another great thing about these DVD boxsets is that you can return to them whenever you want - the initial cost is high but in the long term it works out very very good value.

Don't feel guilty - you only missed one session - I would have missed a lot more than that if it had been me - not getting to bed until 5am just the once would have finished me off so no idea how you have coped three days in a row! You have only got two weeks to go - it is all downhill from now on and will be over before you know it. It is such a shame about your neck - injuries do set you back mentally as well as physically and that in turn affects your enjoyment. I think I would fail miserably if I tried Zumba - I have no (and I seriously mean NO) sense of direction or rhythm - I can't even get my arms in the right sequence on the S-S jump rope things on the warm up!!! Have you ever tried Jillian Michael's? Her Ripped in 30 is definitely worth considering - I was doing this before I started Insanity - its worth a try - in fact all of her DVDs are pretty good. I bought a Beurer PM 52 HRM - Sun & Sand Sports in MCC - was just under AED 500 (I think) - no idea whether its a good buy yet or not but it does everything I need it to do - will use it tonight though and let you know how it goes

Hey SEY83 - how's it going? I'm assuming you've been tied up for the last few days with your brother's engagement and visitors - really hope the party went well and everything is OK. Just about to start week 2 of month 2 and am really enjoying it - have Max Cardio this evening which I have to say is my least favourite of all the workouts. But at least its shorter! I bought a HRM over the weekend - you got me thinking about the calorific burn each workout gives and about what to do after Insanity finishes - don't think I will do it again straightaway but I do want to make sure I do enough to maintain the level of fitness/muscle tone. Because it is such an extreme programme I don't want to start going backwards and want to make sure whatever I do next is going to push my body - not as much as Insanity but certainly close to it. So I thought I would start taking note of my heart rate, calories/fat burned during each session and aim to get as close to that as I can. Hope you check in again soon - would love to hear how you are getting on

My advice would be to contact law firms direct - unfortunately the demand for interships is high - I suspect each law firm has a different approach/process - would suggest your daughter contact the international firms first (with a CV) as they are more likely to have some sort of programme in place. Best of luck

You didn't tell me those flippin Plank Punches were in there!!!!!!! Gee whiz - I found it hard work - felt like the first week of Month 1 - I'm really hoping that by next week I'll be coping better. I need to look at what I'm eating as well - I don't think I'm getting enough carbs in - felt so drained again last night. BUT I did enjoy it - and had the same feeling of euthoria at the end (after I had got my breath back and managed to stand up!) Have Max Recovery tonight with Mr T in his tights! Meant to say in my last post that I've got the normal boxset so don't have the extra workout options. I've also looked at the Charlean Extreme boxset too - that looks quite good - more weight based but the workouts are only 30/40 mins and you don't need a massive amount of space. I'm quite tempted to do that after I've finished Insanity. How was your session last night?

I used the Braun Silk-epil epilator for many years - agree with Outspan that the regrowth started within a couple of days but was fine and not that noticeable. However I stopped a year or so ago as I was getting fed up with the ingrowing hairs on my legs - I tried all sorts of remedies but nothing worked - I'm now back with the old fashioned razor!

That's great news re the back SEY83 - so pleased you are able to continue. Its so rewarding to hear all the lovely compliments too - I bet you will get loads more at your brother's engagement party. Did you find your dress by the way? I was OK with the squat push ups - but I didn't rep them out as fast as Mr T and his gang - with the power push ups like you I'm not entirely sure I was getting the form quite right on all of them but I'm pretty sure we will both improve as the days go by. I'm determined to conquer all these moves before the end of Month 2 Yes - I have Cardio tonight which I think I should be OK with. There aren't any scary exercises in there are there?! Jumped on the scales this morning and they've gone down 2kgs since I last weighed myself (which was last week) but... I didn't eat much yesterday or last night so I suspect that might be more the reason than any long term weight loss. I have lost inches and my body doesn't wobble half as much as it used to. Much more definition on my upper body and my tummy is noticeably flatter - sadly though my boobs have shrunk a bit too!! If I finish this and can get into my old size 10 clothes I will be a very happy bunny! Do you have a particular target or are you just happy that everything is shrinking!

Well somehow I made it through MIP last night... I did actually feel quite sick towards the end! Def not my favourite workout... I can feel how hard my upper body had to work too - little bit stiff this morning. Don't think I'll ever get the hang of the Balance Planks!!! And Tania's back!!!! Oh and with the Level 3 Drills I managed one set of 16 push ups but for all the others I did them on my knees - it was still tough but I kepted going - am going to try and build from there and hope that by the end of this I'll be able to complete all of them on my hands. Also need to sort out some sort of covering for the floor - currently using an smallish exercise mat over the floor tiles but I'm sweating so much (sorry not a pretty image) that by the end of the session I'm slipping all over the place. How did you get on? What did you have last night? Really hope the back is holding out. I can now see what your brothers meant when they said they saw the best rests after Month 2 - it is def kickass!

Hi SH12 I always put my abaya before I leave Dubai but that's only because I just find it easier. Riyadh airport is an experience! Immigration is a bit hit and miss - majority of the time I have sailed through without any issues but I have on occasion had to wait - depends what airline you go with - I find the Saudi Air terminal much quicker. Never ever had any other issues - but I tend to just go from airport to office to hotel to office to airport!

I am so glad to hear you're OK - was a bit worried for you. Well done for restarting and great news that you only missed one session in the end. Just be cautious going forward though. First session of MIC last night... yup its harder that's for sure BUT amazingly I really enjoyed it!!! Nuts I know... there are some exercises in there that are just plain nasty... the plank punches being one - but I didn't finish feeling absolutely totally drained - true my muscles had had enough and I sweated more than I'd ever done in Month 1 but I just didn't feel the same level of exhaustion - and this morning I don't ache at all! I have been taking that Syntha 6 stuff all last week and I am wondering if that has helped. I have Max Int Plyo tonight... will be interesting to see how that goes - I'm desperately trying to look forward to it even though I know its full of flippin press ups which I HATE! You are so right about the lovely Tania - just want to punch her lights out sometimes - mind you I want to do that to Mr T quite often as well!!!! Good luck with today's workout - catch up tomorrow x

Hey SEY83 - how are you? How is the back? Was thinking of you over the weekend and wondering whether you'd restarted or not. Sincerely hope you are feeling better and able to get going again. I did my Fit Test on Friday followed by my last Recovery session - that was tough! I was exhausted at the end but had all of yesterday to rest so feel almost ready to tackle Day 1 of Month 2 tonight. Here are my results: Switch kicks - 88 to 100 to 116 Power jacks - 48 to 55 to 56 Power knees - 79 to 85 to 95 Power jumps - 33 to 41 to 40 - crashed and burned for some reason this time Globe - 10 to 13 to 13 - think I've reached the limit on these! Suicide jumps - 18 to 20 to 22 Push up jacks - 14 to 21 to 25 - hate these with a vengeance! Low Plank - 30 to 44 to 50 Overall very pleased indeed. Starting the downhill sprint tonight - over half way and only four weeks of this madness to go. Will post tomorrow and let you know how I got on.

I do feel for you SEY83 - but fingers crossed you'll be back on the Insanity wagon very very soon Its funny but I don't get the shoulder burn that bad - its my poor leggies that start to give up first! You are right about feeling more "recovered" though - I do feel stronger too. Bring it on Mr T... I am NOT afraid!

What a bummer! But you have absolutely done the right thing by stopping - I would actually be tempted to go and get it checked out before you restart - just to make sure it isn't serious - especially as its been getting progressively worse - these workouts are not easy and you don't want to end up doing more damage by continuing too soon. You are not a failure and you are not a quitter - you have made so much progress so far and that is something to be very proud of - BUT you need to listen to your body and be careful - this doesn't mean the end of Insanity for you - just a break - you can and will get started again but you need to get your back sorted first. If you are adamant at giving it another go I would take it very easy and at the first sign of any discomfort or pain stop. I'm enjoying the recovery week and making the most of it! I only have three days before I'm onto Month 2 - I'm thinking of doing my fitness test on Friday just before my last Recovery workout as that will give me Saturday off - I'm trying to look forward to the next stage... I do think half the battle with this programme is what goes on in your head - if you are positive about it then hopefully you perform better!! Keep me posted on what you decide to do and how the back is. Take it easy SEY83. x

Shaun T in LEGGINGS!!! Noooooooooo! Ok so I am really not looking forward to next week now! I am hoping that in a few days you will be reporting back that it is getting slightly easier - remember we both found month one difficult when we first started. I've only done one session of the recovery week and I quite enjoyed it - except for that last section with the plie squats. I can see now why you need the week to "recover"! Oh and thanks for the tip on the fit test - I'll have to do it on my day off I think. Def think you need to consider a protein shake or something. Did you get a HRM in the end? At least you are over half way now so look at it as a downhill sprint to the finish line!!!! Keep pushing and don't give up. You can get through this. Thanks for

I think you did the right thing - I'd want to do it as well - the fit test is important as it gives you the encouragement to continue because you can see the improvements you've made. Love it that you still got your 0.5 Globe Jump in there again! They are great results SEY83 - you should be really really pleased with yourself - well done indeed! Good luck with the MIC... I cannot wait to hear how you got on... Talia8089 - shame you won't be joining us but understand Insanity is not for everyone - do keep us posted on P90X2 - I am still tempted to look at P90X now that you have said I don't need the door frame equipment (for doing chins or whatever it is they use it for).

ah bless don't be scared you know you can do it - go like a bat out of **** on the fitness test and then with the workout just do the best you can - oh and don't forget to post your results too. I don't wear a HRT but what I did work out was my Basal Energy Expenditure using the Harris Benedict Equation!! Sounds very posh doesn't it!!! I read about it in the nutrition booklet that I got with the Insanity box set - you basically work out what your resting calorific daily requirement is, then you workout from that what calories you need depending on the amount of exercise you do and if you want to lose weight you simply decrease the total by 500 calories. I don't have the formula with me in the office but if you are interested I'll post it tomorrow. Highly recommend you try Syntha 6 or something similar - I use it as a meal replacement after my evening workout because I can't face eating at that time.

Fab news Talia8089 - you won't regret it.... well maybe you will during the workouts but afterwards you'll feel fantastic! I did consider going with P90X but I think what ultimately put me off was the equipment you needed and the length of the workouts - as a working mum (and I think SEY83 is the same) my free time is very limited - but Insanity fits in very well. Good luck and please do keep us posted on how you are going. SEY83 - I'll be thinking of you tomorrow... sending you an extra spade so you can DIG DEEPER - you WILL survive and get through it - stay strong As for me I've just got two more sessions on Month 1 and then I start the so called "Recovery week" on Sunday. I meant to say before that I do think the Syntha 6 that Bleebers recommended is helping. Best of luck ladies - catch up soon

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! I was so looking forward to taking it "easy" next week... oh lawdy I am not looking forward to my "recovery" week at all now! Fantastic though that you have improved just after three sessions... that is what is keeping me going - that you can SEE the results very very quickly. You are halfway through and then its the dreaded MONTH 2!! I bet everything will seem like a walk in the park compared to the last four weeks. Any more weight loss? I've so clearly lost inches but have decided not to reward myself with any new purchases until I reach the end... then I'm going to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe! I was physically shattered on Friday and somehow managed to scrape through my session - I know I didn't do as well as I could have but figured we all have good workouts and bad workouts and that was just going to have to count as one of my bad ones. I looked at P90X when I did the research on Insanity - I could be tempted to try it but probably not until I've fallen out of love with Insanity! Good luck with the rest of the week's "recovery"!!!! "Train Insane or Stay the Same" - love it Beebers!

Whilst not entirely in line with the thread topic - my hubby sent me this today: [b'>Male Logic[/b'> A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and get a carton of milk and, if they have avocados, get 6." A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk. The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?" He replied, "They had avocados." If you're a woman, I'm sure you're going back to read it again! Men will get it the first time.

Hi Fairfield Haven't been to Turkey but we've done a number of Sunsail holidays in Greece - never had a bad experience with them - I'm not sure if they do Turkey but might be worth considering. We are not sailing this year and I feel a bit sad about that! Hope you have a fab hol whatever you end up doing.

It is great to hear that we are both going through the same pain and struggling with the same things - I keep having to remind myself that Mr T and his motley crew are "professional" fitness enthusiasts and they probably did the Insanity sessions for months and months before they recorded the DVDs - so even if we manage to keep up with just some of the stuff we're doing really really well. Did Cardio Recovery last night and it was the first time I've managed to complete the whole session without having to take a breather - really pleased with myself. BTW apparently there is an Insanity "The Asylum" programme available?!!!!

Well done! Its amazing what our bodies and minds can do even when they're knackered and demotivated! I had PC and CA last night - I just can't get through the Level 2 Drills - I'm on the floor in a heap after the first couple of rounds - its the push ups that kill me and then the push up jacks just finish me off! I've even tried slowing down but that doesn't help. Probably best not to think about what's install in Month 2! Oh and I've put back on the 1kg that I lost last week - I'm not going to weigh myself again but just go on the inch loss... its too disheartening not seeing the scales move

I'm about 10 days behind SEY83 but agree with everything she says - its real hardcore stuff but so effective - the sessions are relatively short (30 to 40 mins - including the warm up/stretching and cool down so really you are only going like a bat out of **** for about 20/25 mins max) - well at least that's the case with Month 1 - neither of us have any idea what is install in Month 2 except that it is even more "insane"! My advice is go for it - the boxset is expensive but in my view it was worth it - as SYE83 has mentioned mine came from Amazon in the UK - I'm not sure how the prices compare to getting it direct from Beachbody.com (US). I couldn't find it anywhere in Dubai though. Let us know if you decide to join us - I am likely to start the programme again after a month or two of finishing this one - it is oddly addictive!

Please go careful tonight - don't have high expectations just try and make it through - I just couldn't survive on three hours sleep - hope its nothing serious that caused it. I think I have it much easier as I'm taking a lot of my leads from you and what you have experienced (for which I truly thank you!) - have you taken a peek at the Month 2 DVDs yet? Mind you having said that it may not be a good idea! But hey you've nearly got through Month 1 and that looked horrendous when you first started so... you know you CAN do it.

I have dropped a dress size and everything is "tighter" - tummy has gone down loads - my posture has improved too. How about you? Did you take a "before" photo?

Hi SEY83 - sorry for the radio silence - haven't logged in for a few days. Day 14 today... fitness test time... this is going to be interesting! I will post my results tomorrow. I found the end of last week tough and was very grateful for my rest day yesterday. Your outline below is spot on! I'm also finding my muscles are reaching exhaustion faster and its a real battle to keep on going when all you want to do is collapse into a heap on the floor. As for the sweating... well I have NEVER sweated like it before! BUT we will keep going and we will make it to the end! Good luck with your last week of month 1 - I am so jealous!!!!

I've lost 0.1kg!!!! I'm so pleased... hopefully this will be the start of an avalanche of weight loss... I messed up last night and was convinced I was due to do Cardio Recovery but should have done Pure Cardio... oooops! Don't think it matters too much except that I now have four days of Cardio session to get through before my rest day. Still loving it... still hating it... How are you doing?

Way to go SEY83 - impressive results! And that's in just two weeks - imagine what you will achieve after the 60 days... I love the way you added the half to the Globe jumps!! Scales aren't moving for me either but its the inches that count in my book and the fact that you are clearly able to push out more reps. Pure Cardio was hard and I can't say I enjoyed it (had to stop so many times) but I am finding my recovery is getting quicker so by the time the cool down was done I felt OK (i.e. I didn't want to throw up anymore!) - had my first rest day yesterday and bizarrely I missed working out so looking forward to whatever session I've got tonight.

You are doing so well... can't wait to see your results tomorrow - it'll be such an incentive for me and indeed anyone else interested in doing this - it does keep you going when you see it working and so early on in the programme too - I'm finding I have much better posture even just sitting at my desk! Yup I'm dieting too - doing Weightwatches - but I think I'm going to find it a struggle to keep the points as low as I have them for much longer but like you my appetite has disappeared so I won't worry this just now Good luck with the Fit Test and give it all you've got...

So funny that we feel the same about this darn workout programme - but it is so true - hate the thought of having to do it but afterwards you feel so elated! Not sure I have a favourite yet... I did the Cardio Recovery last night which I still found tough! Have Pure Cardio tonight and I am NOT looking forward to that at all How are you getting on - are you finding that you are able to push yourself harder now?

I used to colour my hair at home when I had the "odd" grey hair but now I go to a salon because it lasts longer - I have a lot more grey hair to cover :-(

Hi Wiesie I have just started Insanity - on Day 5! It is flippin hard but I am already seeing the results - which sounds unbelievable but it is true. You do have to work hard and commit - it is not for the fainthearted and you should have a basic level of fitness. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with it! One downside is that the boxset is expensive - I got mine from Amazon - but that said if it gets you the results you want then its money well spent in my view (and probably cheaper than a gym membership).

Good luck with the fit test on Thursday - I have high hopes that you will see lots of improvement on your first lot of results. I didn't find it too bad EXCEPT for all those bl**dy press ups!!!! Dear oh dear was I swearing... decided it was better to just do that particular circuit at my own pace and get the form right rather than trying to keep up with Mr T's frantic pace... I have no idea what's install for me tonight except pain, sweat and a good night's sleep!!! You'll get thru your cardio/abs - remember its only an hour and that feeling afterwards makes it worthwhile! Oh and that Syntha 6 is lush too - I'd def recommend it.

Fantastic that you are already seeing the results - and that you have kept going. Well done! Just keep it up - it is obviously worth all the blood sweat and tears! Well that's the fitness test done for me - phew! Probably didn't push myself hard enough but I was pleased with the results (but nowhere near what SeanT's crew achieved) - I can't do pushups so my total for them was pretty ****! Bought some Syntha 6 (thanks Beebers) - hoping this will help too! Will check in again in a couple of days - roll on Day 2 and Day 12

It has arrived! Going to start on Sunday as I cannot get my head around doing it before then... need the weekend to prepare myself mentally! I've had a quick look at the nutrition guide too - have you been following that? I've been keeping up with the other thread on the main board about protein shakes etc and will def be investing in some too. Hope you're still battling away... I'll post again after my Day 1... if I survive!
