Conrad Murray repeatedly gave michael Jackson restricted medication that should only have been administered in a hospital, this ultimately led to his death.

Try a search on goggle for cognitive behavior therapy, it is very good for this type of problem, it is all about trying to restructure the way you think about things. Best of luck! edited by Snugs on 04/10/2011

Totally disagree, of course he didnt want to kill him, MJ was his cash cow, but he certainly over medicated him, which led to his death. MJ was given hospital-only anesthesia by CM, he was an enabler and did not fulfill his duties as Set out in the hypocratic oath, DO NO HARM! MJ is dead, i think that fulfills the criteria of harm! edited by Snugs on 04/10/2011 edited by Snugs on 04/10/2011

We have a friend in an A1 who has a pool and her bill is 12,000 per month! She does have a large pool and it is chilled, but still. We have a C1 also with a chiller and our bill is about 3,500 per month.

I never keep the dirham from the trolley, I figure it is a tiny gift to whoever finds it, but then I also tip the petrol guys ten dirhams every time, these guys have such a hard job and I appreciate them! My husband calls me the patron saint of waiters and taxi drivers. My biggest tip is 100 dhs for a taxii, it is my version of charity, but having worked for one of the largest charities in the UK, I would rather help someone who is helping themselves, as opposed to paying admin costs for superfluous costs, like coffee and petrol for admin and marketing persosnnel!

My DH also works in AUH, such a pain, his company thought was a good idea to hold meetings starting at 5pm last Thursday which lasted four hours and then organized a motivational / leadership training sessions for all day Friday! I hate his company and can't wait for him to leave if and when he gets a better job!

Because I advertised the tickets in June on the classifieds, she asked to buy them, after 15 txt messages, asking me to hold on to them for over summer, many thwarted attempts to meet her and exchange, even up to last week, am fed up and want someone else to have and enjoy them... Quite simple, no evil intent.

Aroha, obviously a passionate reply! But.... I have read your reply a couple of times and don't really get what you are saying! That we should be fulfilled by being a SAHM or that we should be I dividuals that raise our kids whilst making our mark in life. Personally speaking, having two young boys and working semi full Tim e (complicated to explain ) I think it is a great role model for my two kids to see me go off to play Netball, go to work, as long as I am there for them for the majority of time... At the end of the day kids will become teenagers, and young adults and what are we left with? There is a huge world out there with plenty of opportunities, I think women of our generations (30-45) have so much pressure to be everything that we CAN be to the extent that we can't always do one thing to the best of our abilities. There used to be a commercial on tv for a perfume which sums it all for me, they had this sexy woman in a business suit saying "I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and never, ever forget you're a man, coz I'm a woman, anjonou" cue seduction scene...FYI for perfume advertisement We can all only do our best! And be nice to each other at the same time!

I think it is great! It means there are finally going to finish the interchange, I know we will all be inconvenienced for a while, but as a fellow victory heights resident how great will it be to have an interchange similar to the one at Arabian ranches! For newbies, the AR interchange used to big a big massive roundabout just like the al khail one, and now it is but a memory. Let's keep positive, now if they would only finish the blinking clubhouse!

I have also put this in classifieds, but thought I would be cheeky and put it here as they expire at end of month! Hi, we have two Sea Wings tickets for sale, due to my extreme fear of flying I have been holding onto them and now they expire at the end of Sept! They are usually 1,200 each, so make me an offer and they are yours! [email protected]

Thanks Shaks for sharing that story, it is funny now, years later, but what a shock it must have been at the time! Greenish, thank you very much for your concern, I rang our paed last night and she assured me that amounts of Vit D in these particular vitamins were miniscule in terms of overdosing. Indeed the vitamins themselves can barely be called vitamins at all, mostly sugar and corn syrup I would to assure you all that I haven't taken this lightly and am beating myself up immensely for what happened, it is a hard lesson to have learned and one I am grateful for. Can we call a truce?

Thanks for the supportive messages, he is fine, not even a tummy ache which is amazing considering the amount of corn syrup that is in each vitamin! To the helicopter mothers who posted that this would never have happened to them, fate has a funny way of dealing with smug people and if one day you may find yourselves in a similar situation, I hope you remember to chastise and blames yourselves as quickly as you are willing to dish it out.

I had a sigmoidoscopy years ago, which is not as, ahem, in depth, a little uncomfortable but fascinating to watch on the screen! All that rubbish about bits of undigested food hanging around are not true from what I could see! Best of luck, relax and think what a great story it will be in six months!

Crumbs is excellent and just on the school run, between al manara and umm sequiem road, only went once a few months ago but very good, if it was licensed it would be a gold mine! It is next to Jones the grocer, which was fab when I went in after it just opened, didn't eat but bought some pasta.

Lady luck, what will you do if your husband is no longer around? Can you support your children with skills that are current and needed in the workplace? Unless you are rich enough to no longer need an income, you need to protect yourself and your family... Don't be too smug, there are plenty of stories on EW where women have been betrayed (and shocked) by their husbands who are no longer willing to support a SAHM!

Another suggestion would be to have a local break, like RAK or Fujairah, that way you are only down the road instead of a flight away.

I am in total agreement, and I pray that it will bite the republicans in the proverbial come 2012. Norak, I am really curios why you switched parties, if it isn't too personal that is! Is it because of the current financial crisis or something else. Eta to fix iPad predictive text! edited by Snugs on 31/07/2011

OS, I think you are guilty here of bad netiquette, you are copying a section of a post that is unrelated to the current thread. It is altogether different to criticize AW as Dentro did in her post about paying to see (what everyone agreed was a poor and foretelling performance) a living person than it is to criticize someone who died as a presumed result of said poor-performing concert.

Frances, it is very normal to feel upset with such a diagnosis, knowledge is power, so arm yourself with as much information as possible and you will get through it, one day at a time. Children are so resilient but they pick up on vibes so a positive attitude, which I am sure you have, having read your posts over the years, will stand you in excellent stead. All the best!

I used to suffer from panic attacks, haven't had one in years, but the fear of them is often as bad as the attack itself, indeed can even bring one on. I do a fair amount of public speaking and I always take a small dose of inderal, whichnis a beta blocker used for heart patients. What it essentially does is stop the surge of adrenaline which is often the physical sensation that can bring on a full blown attack. It is not addictive and it has helped me through some difficult times. You can buy it over the counter and tell the pharmacist it is for panic and he will give you the correct dose. It is short term to get through something, eg a journey or speech, not long term medication.
