You should ideally park in P2, as soon as you see the dome like thingy. MnS is right there. If you by chance decide on taking the metro, get into Debenhams, take their elevator to the 2nd floor and hop out to MnS :)

Hey Ashc, I found some at the card section in Carrefour/Lulu. 12 bucks for about 10 sheets. Lots of colours. Also, right now they are selling off some Paperchase ones at Borders on clearance.

sorry to hijack this thread but perhaps one of the experienced mommies on here can help me and my current predicament... my DD is all of 4 years and 4 months... she's been potty trained since she was 2 years of age and successfully poos and pees on her own (including cleaning and washing hands)... however my biggest challenge is that she still uses pampers at night... I am now on the largest size of pampers available (size 6) and I'm worried that if she doesn't learn to pee in the loo at night I might soon be out of pampers that fit her! :( she pees on most nights in her pampers... this is whether or not she has any fluids just before sleeping... I don't know if this will help you, but my sister had the same problem with my niece, so I'm telling you what they did. They sort of realised that she pees very early in the morning, and started waking her and taking her to the loo every morning. It is a pain, but she did get the idea after a few weeks. I'm at my wits end... I have told her she needs to let me or the maid know when she wants to pee at night... but she just hasn't woken up to tell us... and I've even tried not making her wear her pampers at night and that just results in accidents which end up in tears and change of beds, bedding etc... HELP!

Wow cant believe it! its only 10Euros in France:\: I should probably set up a sophie La Girafe business and make a huge margin  Stovetop, I have family visiting from France in 10days if u'd like one Thanks Pepito, managed to get one already :) Though I must admit, DD still prefers to suck and chew on Mommy the Human instead of Sophie the Giraffe.

In Cochin, there's the Taj Malabar which is pretty good, but they're aren't many hotels with beach access in the city. The small boutique Fort Kochi hotels are really the ones I'd suggest in Cochin too, it's lovely to walk in the narrow by-lanes and exploring the lovely cafes (Try googling The Old Courtyard, Secret Garden and Killians). Do not miss the chocolate cake at Kashi's Art cafe. For the beach, head to the Taj Kovalam. I haven't been there but have heard good things about it. Here's a link that might be of some help. http://www.i-escape.com/kerala/boutique-hotels

Cool! Well that's an exciting development for the range of my fashion wardrobe!!! Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. :-D BMAP, take a look at a store called FabIndia.. think they opened a really nice at the beach road recently too. They have some lovely cottons that you can wear in the summer. Gorgeous stuff.

Thanks ladies. Last night she woke up at 2:45, did some oohing and aahing and then went back to sleep. Don't know when she woke up but when I woke up at 6:40 she was busy "scolding" her mobile. LOL. As long as she doesn't see either of us when she wakes up in the middle of the night, she tends to go back to sleep (I think). So we just ignore her (and hide under the covers while laughing about the noises she makes) We'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Novice, week 1 starts with the first day of your period. Even when there's no baby! :) It's the standard practice as it makes assessing the due dates simple :) And congratulations to you too!

Babyrouge, congratulations! I had the same problem and the doctor may be right. Because technically your "conception" could have been anyday in a 2 week window. They couldn't find a heartbeat for me in week 6, so I was asked to come back in 2 weeks and that was the longest fortnight of my life. And remember, you stressing it out will not help the baby in anyway. :) So just relax and trust your body.

I'm so glad this thread came back to what it was for. KC, can I budge in with a few questions too? I'm sort of lost over the last few days. Initially DD used to take many many many short naps during the day with BM, and finally go down with a bottle of formula at 10 and sleep through till 6. If she slept at 11, she'd wake up at 7. And it was like clockwork. 8 hour stretch straight. Now at 4 months, for the past 2 weeks we've been putting her down at 8 (latest, sometimes before), with the breast and then another bottle. Then at 11 I give her another bottle. But she's up at odd hours. 2 nights back she was up at 3: 30, just babbling to herself and slept off on her own at 4:30 and then was up at 6:30 for a feed. This morning she was up at 4:30 and then got cranky somewhere around 5:30 so I just fed her. Any ideas to help her get to 6 or 6:30? I don't understand why her previously perfect stretch had to be messed up :( But I know she gets tired by evening, so don't want to push her bedtime back either.

OP note, yes there is a trick: DO NOT download Skype 5.0 - it takes up way too much memory for what it does. I was clever enough to stay on my older version. Works fine as it is, why would I want to mess with it and I've since found out that it has a lot of bugs too. See solution: http://www.lovefortech.com/2011/05/27/skype-2-8/ Tried downloading 2.8 for Mac too, no luck :(

DH downloaded it onto our iMac here with no vpn and no problems at all and we're not in a freezone. I also have it on my laptop but I downloaded that whilst out of the country. I'm trying to download it on my iMac too, but just won't happen :( DH is not here, but when he is and if I remember I'll ask him if there is anything special he did in order for it to work. ;) Thanks Shelly, that'll be super!

So glad to see I'm not the only "crazy woman who has a problem with her husband's sleep". Er no, with his flaring nostrils and the sound that accompanies them actually. I'm probably the only new mum on earth who has a baby that sleeps through the night and a husband who keeps her awake. And certainly not in the nice/naughty way!

Hi Spamm I put in an earlier post saying Cecile's charges 200 dhs for a second consult most times or also offers a package of sessions, depending on how severe the issue is. But the post didn't show up apparently. Thought you and sandfly were referring to that. Also realised that it didn't answer OP's question since I don't know if the weight sessions are the same as a consult. Sorry for the confusion.

Everytime I go to Welcare, I think of you Forever21 and about what you chose. Someone in my family went through something very similar, so your story has always had a special place in my heart. You are such a such a strong and lovely person, I'm sure Zamashimane chose you because she knew you were so special.

Turns out there's an issue with my Shop n Ship account. Wanted to order a Sophie for DD since Luxe Little doesn't have the regular sized one. If anyone is coming down soon and can get me one, it'll be great. I can buy it online and have it sent over to your local address in the US. TIA

Might be hard to find here, but I'd check the Bur Dubai sportswear stores. Your best bet though would be to have someone who's coming from India to buy it for you and bring it over.

Many moons back we got addicted to some Pakistani serials. Cant remember the name but it was about a young doctor called Zoya or something. I think she went on to marry the lead singer of some Pakistani rock band. But these serials can get a bit heavy and depressing. Which ones in particular are you recommending, whats the title of the serial? Ooooh, I think I know that one... [i'>Dhoop Kinarey[/i'>? Or was Zoya one of the protagonists in [i'>Tanhayiyaan[/i'>, with a really good looking guy called Zain? We were really young at the time... but my late-teen-hormone-hit sister was a huge fan. I think there was another hilarious one called [i'>Sona Chandi[/i'>?

DS started "teething" at 3 months old but the teeth didn't actually cut through until he was 7 months. They move up and down under the gums, gums get inflamed, baby gets dribbly but nothing happens. There is not much you can do. Sophie le Giraffe is a great teething toy that is easier for a younger baby to hold. Babies put everything in their mouth anyway, its how they explore things, teething or not. If you're going to give formula, why not make it the dream feed. Dreamfeeding never made any difference to me but worth a try. Thanks Kiwipiers, she does drool sometimes but there's a lot of saliva these days. I'm planning to get Sophie for her anyway (if its still there at Pottery Barn), so maybe it'll get better with that? Is it safe for her to sleep with though? And yes, I have tried formula as the dreamfeed too. But she doesn't take in the entire amount that she takes in when she's awake. Is that still okay?

Hi ST, Why don't you BF her for bed and formula top up for dreamfeed? Also, why don't you leave her your jimmies to 'sniff' too? Perhaps your DD just wants you to make her sleep better..that's what I do to my DD, for comfort..that way I can get up and do my stuff with her still having my 'smell' with her? S Thanks Shjbelle. I have tried leaving a cloak-like thing I wear all the time beside her, but hasn't worked :(
