decorated pillow covers, table runners, cloths. Whenever we go to the Antique warehouse there is usually someone from North America putting in a huge order for stuff like this. I was in Toronto last year and came across a few specialty shops where goods like this were sold and let me tell you...the mark up was way over 100%...a pillow cover bought her for 40dhms (about 12.00 cdn) sold for $60.00 if not more for the larger ones so, the import business is good but you do have to pay Taxes unless you bring home a large box at a time when you travel :)

Kimie and the OP are the same person I believe? Kimie, you need to change vets and get one that is up to date on spay and neutering animals. Why he would say the cat was too old and would die is just nuts, unless your cat has a serious health problem then why did she have kittens? If the kittens are a minimum of 8 weeks old and are totally weaned from their mother and you are now rehoming the kittens, it is time to get the mother spayed as she will be looking to get pregnant again quickly and if she does, that is not a good situation to put her in.. Donating to Feline Friends is a good way to find homes. You should also ask the potential adopters lots of questions. I am sure Feline Friends will help you with the questions to make sure they go to a good home. We can only hope they all have wonderful homes, but charging a fee does not in any way guarantee this.

Look Kimie or Anna. Rather than coming on here with such an attitude, you might try explaining what you meant, if you did not mean to sell your kitten. Apparently there is a language problem so being calm and explaining another way would be of great help to all rather than flying off the handle.

At home in Canada, Pot Luck dinners were always happening :)....someone would get moving for a TGif, call friends and yell Pot Luck at 7 tomorrow and everyone who came, brought a fav dish of food, wine or whatever and everyone had a great time being together. I mentioned that once and got looks of horror here lol.....

Well then, I would march up to that gardener and tell him you have called the police and they of course will catch the thief. Now, if he happens to know who stole the pots and plants from your garage and he tells the thieves to return them within (you pick the hours) then the police might not have to do an investigation. I bet those plants will show up.

Would it be so bad if the children only had the kids they normally play with at their birthday party? I think it would be great if a parent approached the school in order to let the birthday child bring a cake or cupcakes on the day to share with the class to celebrate. then, the child has his private birthday with his close playmates at home and any close family friends and sibs. It amazes me that the birthday parties here cause such anguish when it could be just so simple. I think there comes a time when children must learn that they do not have to part of everything and that sometimes they will not be invited to things. It is honestly, part of life and another lesson that needs to be learned. Yes, i can be painful to know you are not one of the party goers but if we dont learn as children how to cope, how will we as adults cope with not being invited to things? Anyway, I personally think the birthday parties here are a tad over the top for the most part...just my opinion of course.

You might have to go back to putting new kitty in private for a week again, switch bedding, feed all cats with door between, put new cat in living room with other cats but in cage...and do the revers with your own, put them in a cage and put in private room etc....

kids grown and gone :)..but. Set amount. and 10% must go into savings and when they have run out, its gone. You will have to sit down and figure out what it is she needs and then what she wants :). The 10% savings could be for what she wants. Lots of incentive. Teach them now for when they are on their own and they will handle their money without asking from their parents :)

if by chance you do come across something that you feel needs to be investigated. Pull over, lock your door, shut your windows and call the police. Keep your eyes open and never ever get out of the car. Same if someone bumps your car with no one else around....keep driving and call the police.

In Al Badaá. He/she is chubby with a chubby shorter tail, black back, white tummy and a Zorro mask. Collar is dark green or gray that is the plastic sort of collar with a bell. i was in my nightie so could not go on the street but she did come close and is very friendly. She is pretty dirty so dont think she belongs to anyone now...or she is lost. I will try and see her tomorrow night and see if she has a tag. Anyway, if anyone is missing one iN Al Badaa near Al Satwa rd and 57th, let me know.

from all accounts she was not great in Dubai. I, on the other hand, love to listen to her late at night or while making dinner. I love her voice and her music. It is sad she is not a proformer but......Diana Krall, Amy and Billie Holiday among others I enjoy listening too, I just will not go to her concert :),,,,,but I will not stop listening to her music :)

I would be curious to know if the husband discussed this with his wife before agreeing to the son moving in? Does the husband expect his wife to take up where his ex has left off and take full responsibility for his grown child (not a toddler here) and he just pays parenting lip service? or..has he said they will parent together and he will work at understanding his son and caring for his son so the wife does not feel the full burden is on her? If he has done this, reassured his wife that they will be doing this together, I would say she need to rethink her position, calm down and look at it another way, especially if the husband WANTS to have his son live with him or if he is being FORCED into it by the ex........ I think she needs to grow up a bit and get over the ex, drop it and forget about it but she will have to lay down some fair grown rules so they can all live together...and get help if necessary. I do believe there is an aspergers association here that is very active, she could start there. How old is she anyway?

did you try and dilute the bleach immediately then soak up, spray with water, then soak up....the bleach will take the colour out but if you dilute quickly and soak up until as dry as possible the put a thick cloth on it and put something very heavy on it, like the houseboy lol to absorb the rest.

A friend asks to borrow a good amount of money. #1. You tell her you will give it to her, not lend it to her. or #2. You tell her you will lend her the money and that you will draw up a legal document about the loan and some kind of repayment schedule that she has to follow. You can charge interest, or not. or #3. You tell her that no way in hadies would you lend her or any friend money as your friendship is too important if something should happen and she does/cannot pay you back :) or #4. You tell her that you have a very firm policy of lending money over 200dhm to anyone for any reason unless they follow #2 and the reason is #3 lol.. I would say your friend might be upset with you in the beginning but if the friendship is valued, she will find the money from someone else...(sorry, not everyones friends will do that but we must have a safety net to fall into when needed :))

I think you need to figure out a way to work this out. Sounds like they are not expecting you to show them a good time and can take care of their healthy and spritely selves. Think of it this way. They raised you. Loved you. Hauled you around to do the things you enjoyed. They waited nights up worrying about you. They listened to your incessent chatter all the time and most likely just nodded and smiled. so they chat between themselves, tune them out, they did it with you :)...you daughter can be joke with them about finding them possibly being in nursery at times....with a bit smile... both my parents are dead and alot of time I think how sad it is that we can now afford to have them here, show them around, pamper them, enjoy them and overlook the things we dont like. My mother would enjoy so much all the spas that she could never afford, restaurants...all of it. So, I know your parents get on your nerves and you are saying they are not arguing but chattering? well, step back and have another look at these people that love you to death, take a deep breath, put a smile on and tell them you love them but could they go out for the day on the Big Red Bus? :)
