Call the DED Dubai Consumer Protection (Consumer Rights) For consumer complaints to Consumer Rights Section at Dubai Economic Department 600 54 5555 It has worked for me. I heard back from then within 2 days and they got right on it. give it a try.

Dubaicat, have you taken his collar off to see if any information is written on the inside??? when they checked for a chip did they go pretty much all over as these can move. Lastly, is he neutered? Sticky Wicket, you post is not helpful at this point. I see you are bored but start something elsewhere. thanks. Who do you think you are? It's practical information and it's not for you to decide what is helpful and what is not. telling someone to just put the dog down as a stray is not helpful. I know who I am...:) :)

For goodness sake just speak to your DH about it, there could be a very reasonable explanation. no... facebook is responsible for so much damage full stop !!! i swear some people shouldn't be anywhere near it !! lesson learned. Lend a friend money, think of it as giving your friend money, do not expect it back. If you can afford to lose the money then lend it, if not, don't. I think at this point the barn door has closed and you might as well accept the fact the money is not coming back to you. End the friendship if you must but forget the money. If she does pay you wonderful....or, you could get angrier and angrier but, unless you have a paper that says she received the loan from you, you might as well just move on.

no you just sweep up the loose dirt and dust. I would imagine it is like washing the floor only better and if you have clumps of dirt and du.st bunnies, they will only get moved around by the steamer, the steamer does not make them disappear lol..think of making mud lol

could you try this? take him back to where you found him, put on a retractable lead and see if he takes you to his home? I dont imagine alot of people who have lost an animal know how to look for one other than walking the streets and maybe putting up a poster in the nearest people place. It is possible he has wandered off and there is only homehelp at the home? sorry, trying to be optomistic here...

that is very sad :(. You are right, some cultures think this way and it is so unnecessary. I am sure many animals are booted out the door to fend for themselves because of this uneducated mind set :(. I also totally disagree! If you do not want a cat when you have a baby, dont get a cat in the 1st place! A cat is not a replacement child to rehome when you actually have a child. When my son was born I had 3 cats, never once did I think I should get rid of them. They slept with him for 16 years and he lived with the dust, dander, love and cuddles without allergies. I also agree about children living in a sterile environment. Those friends whose kids did not have animals, ate only the *right* things all the time, lived in a dust free house, were not exposed to normal dirt were the ones with the runny noses, missed days at school, miserable and told they had allergies by their parents...they also lived in hot houses in the winter!!! so, mine were very rarely sick, played with all animals and kids even picked up their dropped food and ate it before I could grab it....very healthy today after all that exposure to dirt lol <em>edited by SueB on 12/02/2011</em>

I dont know :(... it was a sticky for months then they removed it. Maybe a vet complained...because they wer epaying for advertising. It would be so nice if people did not have to look through everything to find the list though...

I saw that and wrote to ask her that exact question. Of course, I have not heard back. I asked if the cat scratched or attacked or the reason the cat had to leave and would she let people know the cat was a problem, and that is why she was afraid the cat would hurt the baby...of course not. So, I agree, to make the long story short lol

I am very sorry to hear nothing has worked for your son Fionam :(. I would think it is all subjective and dependent on the child and where he is on the spectrum? I wonder if different therapies work for some and not for others? your child is severely autistic, that must be very hard on you :( ,,I cannot imagine what your life is like. I dont think my nephew is severley autistic but again, I don't know where he is...he does not speak unless he feels like using the words and is facinated by videos, which help to calm I think. The trouble sleeping is the big thing I think as my Neice is finding when he can sleep, he is much better a coping, so, hopefully there is a therapy out there, somewhere for him :)...... I did look at the Listening Programme tattybogle. It is very intriguing AND sounds like it might also help with Alzheimer patients in the beginning? I have more to read on it as my mother had alzheimers so I am finding this work very interesting. Not only for my husbands nephew but for myself :) Just in case. <em>edited by SueB on 11/02/2011</em>

Sometimes a LifeCoach can help make the decisions easier to manage and help you think of things you did not think of....your whole family has been through trauma, including your husband and it could be, he will handle it 'bandaid'style because he really does not know of any other way to support you? I think it could possibly help in the way of approaching him to ask him how he has felt about the whole thing since your parents deaths and the road directions suddenly changing when no one was prepared? You both also have a special needs child and now added family responsibilities that the both of you (as he is your husband, better or worse :)) have to deal with, the boulder to circumvent have gotten bigger but not unsurmountable. It will take time, so give yourselves the time you need, other opportunities will come along.

you can get special stands for stacking washer and dryer, not sure if it would work with a freezer. I am assuming here that the freezer is small and opens from the front or she will need a ladder lol. Can she not put the freezer in another room ie, spare bedroom? unused maids room? She ideally wants a dishwasher in the cubby that the washer was in? I dont think that will work, the dishwasher has larger hoses and goes down a waste pipe because of the food? I think she needs to talk to a plumber before putting the dishwasher where the washer was unless it is beside (or close ) to the sink???

A maid I personally know has a contract finishing soon and she is leaving the agency. They are not going to send her back, nor ban her but wish her well as they were well paid from her salary while she worked for them and more than paid back the money to bring her here 3 years ago. She is moving on to be sponsored by a family. No one is poaching as she has finished her contract. the agency is not nasty. There is nothing in her contract that holds her ransom at the end of the contract. They give her the airfare or send her home. They have no reason to ban her or any maid who finishes a contract with them.

the cat likes to play in water lol/ whoever owns the hand washable socks, ask him/her to wash his/her own socks in his/her own sink, in the bedroom with the door closed. Personally, I would not be hand washing anyones socks, nor underwear lol...

Hmm, pondering this one still more. Would be tempted to scrawl the mobile and home phone numbers down on the back of the gents toilet door in Rattlesnakes or similar, with a "For a good time, call me now. Im just waiting to hear your se*y voice"... now that is the best answer lol....wake him up every 5 minutes all night long lol.....but..someone had better go back in a few days to clean it off or the phone will never stop lol

the topical med would be Lamisil. That is for a very mild case, ie small patch etc. If it is wider spread, it should be 2x a week bath, and meds by mouth.

a wise person told me a long time ago that your children are with you for so long then they start their own lives. Your spouce however was there before the children and will be there after the children. It is the after the children when it is realized the marriage was neglected because of the children. Find time to spend with your husband, maybe have a date night where your focus is only on him. I would imagine having autistic twins would be very draining and you also need time for relaxation so you can be a happy mother :). Have a special person relieve you one night a week that knows how to handle autistic children??? Do, more things together as a family...honestly, I am just a retired mum lol...just some thoughts that might help :)

my cat brought one home last year. I thought it was a pretty blue stone so left it...then something niggled in my pea brain that i should check this out. Took it away but kept it. 2 days later m y neighbour said the pest control had put down poison behind an outdoor cupboard. I asked to see it and there was a stone like the one the cat brought to play with. We were lucky. If your animal is found playing with a stone take it away.....dogs will eat them, cats will play and get it on their paws. Rats go in and take them and often they just drop them..so, be careful.

we actually throw baby showers before the baby is born :) (1st baby, not the subsequent babies as we assume they will use the handmedowns lol) so give the gift now but if uncomfortable, ask for mum to be not to open until the birth :)

take a face cloth. Put it in warm water and wring out. Wipe down newly washed cat with said cloth. then wipe down nasty out of sorts cat with same cloth.. Do this a few times so they both smell the same. The next day, after they have groomed each other from the wipe down, they should be fine. I usually take all cats to the vets at the same time, whether they need it or not.. and if one has more done to it. ie anesthesia, a wipe down and sharing of smell is required lol....if that does not work...open a can of tuna and put on paws of both, they will lick and smell the same.. Bathing cat. Fill double sink with warm water. Grab cat by the scruff of neck. dip quickly in water and with free hand wet him down with a bucket. apply shampoo. rub in quickly while adding water or have shampoo water ready. Toss kitty in second vat of clean water, swish around, pour bucket of warm water over kitty, avoiding the head with soap by the way...plop ****** off kitty on hot towel, wrap neck so front paws will not scratch you to death. enjoy the fresh kitty. Pour yourself a drink.
