Thanks MiridfIngrid - I am actually looking forward to my flight now ! Will see if I can get a threadcutter but will be steering well away from Sewandso or I'll end up buying far more than a cutter :) I must have about 3 projects on the go already at the moment !

thanks for the advise - we fly quite a lot just not for such a long flight ! Will pack tons of snacks, neither of them have PSPs (we have portable DVD players) etc and we had thought about getting them for the flight -looks like it might be a good idea !!

I am looking for a bit of advise - we are flying to Atlanta (and then onto Orlando) with Delta next Friday on an overnight with 2 children aged 6 and 8. Has anybody flown with Delta in economy class - is the in-flight entertainment ok / leg room / food etc. I am worried my 2won't sleep and I haver never done a flight with them more than 8 hours ! Any advise welcome :)

we bought a swing set a few weeks ago - brilliant service etc but it was in the darkest depths of Dragonmart - towards the far end on the left hand side if heading away from old Auchan - what we did notice on our way out though was a shop selling the same stuff at the main entrance where Auchan used to

I hadn't so on Sunday (11th Sept) I emailed them on [email protected] with a copy of my receipt for online payment - they sorted it all out - got Sept issued delivered on Tuesday morning. Excuse was they couldn't find my office before !

just to add the More debate - they have 2 types of pancakes on their menu - the Dutch thin ones in the main menu and then the really thick stack of pancakes on the breakfast menu - we love the dutch ones but ordered off the breakfast menu last time and when they came they were 4 small inch think ones <em>edited by Suethack on 08/09/2011</em>

we are members of the Aviation club - the new buidling next door is a hotel and we have been told Jumeriah are going to be the ones managing it. Our concern is that if they also take on the current club food outlets that the prices will go up - currently very reasonable to eat around the pool etc. The AV club is staying as it is I think !

It is at the Toys R Us end - top level - we accessed it across from the bowling alley entrance - if you stand outside Toys R Us main entrance and look up you will see all the windows ! Yes it had a soft play area and some of the small kiddy rides

Yes its open - we had a wander around it on Fri afternoon - very dark in there but seems to have a good soft play area and fairground type rides and machines - we did not go on anything but my DS (5yr) and DD (8yr) seemed quite excited about it

we did something simliar for NYE - all bought our outfits in Carrefour (had to spend no more thean 100dhs on the full outfit!) - got a lovely black velour tracksuit with gold edging and angel wings printed on the back - you will def get something in there !

Hi, we used the Will Specialists - Nita Maru. Our will here deals specifically with any assets we have here and the guardianship of our children if anything should happen (otherwise the courts can take custody here). We have named 2 temporary guardians who are based in Dubai who will look after the children until the permamnet named guardians arrive in Duabi to take over. Be careful as the wills have to be attested by your embassy here so you need to use one of the companys approved by them

Try the chemists that are on Bank Street (quiet a few) - running from Burjaman down to Masalla Tower - I have always managed to find some in one of them !

Hi, we have been to Hatta Fort - the main hotel is very dated but chalet type rooms are lovely and the food is reasonble - breakfast if I remember was good with a proper English fry up (know what I mean!). Not sure if you have children but my 2 got a bit bored as nothing really for them to do
