TDB go and do some of the things you'll not be able to do for a while! Like a mani/pedi, a MOVIE with your DH (it will be ages before you go and do that!) - just some time with just you and DH, whatever it is. Do something just for you too. In a few weeks you'll be looking back and thinking why did I not close all the blinds and watch chick flicks all day lol. I used to get irriated with people telling me their labour stories (seriously WHY do people do that) until after mine now I do it too lol. Don't take things to heart too much, people are just excited for you (us too!). If you are feeling very tired today, it might be the day :D.

Sorry, being very silly because i forgot about the shops in mOE and Dubai Mall which always have UAE type things!!! Dubai Mall near the fountains/More cafe and MOE upstairs!! Did you get to Satwa?

I charge it overnight And here lies your problem! You should never charge a battery overnight, only until it is full. Overcharging batteries wastes them. You need a new battery and never to do overnight charging again. ;) (that's what DH would say. lol)

Thanks - usually i do it on the stove but just wanted to try the hot pot! Your recipe says no boiling or the alcohol evaporates, think that's what happened even though it was on low it must have still boiled :(

There's a shop on the corner of the Dune Centre in Diyafa Street which sells all sorts of bike things. If no Dubai logo jackets are there, you could always buy a standard jacket and have a Dubai logo stitched on at a tailor :)

not sure who your maintenance company is in JBR, but they will know what the problem is ;) - which is guaranteed to be water leaking from the tiles near your bath, going along the floor under your tiles and then rising up the nearest walls i.e. outside the bathroom and then bedroom. We had the same thing and they spent a couple of hours taking the tiles off round the bath, fixing the problem and then you need to leave the walls to dry for a few weeks before repainting. Call them out again and just tell them what the problem is, rather than asking them - and then ask them to quote for fixing it. hth.

The Royal Meridien has a lovely arabic restaurant with outdoor seating - they do a reasonably priced set menu and just bring dish after dish. The surroundings are beautiful and round the sides there is arabic style seating with shisha. (Personally i don't like eating/sitting where there is shisha as it makes me feel sick!) - but visitors to the UAE love it and enjoy trying it. Weather is perfect for it too.

I use our courier company to courier passports all the time, however i believe only DHL have the authority to do this as our courier company then use DHL to do it. hth.
