Why not call Gulf News and ask them if you can buy copies of their photos? They always print some for national day each year, they may be willing to sell you some.

Ace hardware have them 399dhs. My dh and I spent time last night discussing how lifelike the display tree looked (it even had a really convincing trunk) before we realized it was a real one... Long day!

We had papier mâché ornaments when my kids were small, and metal ones. Didn't want to have lights and wires so put in a few battery operated ones (ikea) so they couldn't electrocute themselves and then tied bells to all the lower branches so I knew whenever they got close to the tree, even when I wasn't watching! When they were at the crawling but not listening stage I had the tree tied to the curtain tieback hooks on the wall so I would get the extra seconds to rescue it before they could pull the whole lot down. In one house I actually installed a hook (waist height) and removed it and filled the hole in January!

MOE. You can get stamps at the main information desk near body shop, they have scales too to get the fee right. The are mailboxes between the two sets of entrance doors at each entry to the mall, where the car park machines are located.

Decorate tin or box (you can get plain ones in daisco) for one day, a gift card or Christmas card the next day then bake and decorate cookies and then assemble as teacher gifts. Snow globes. Empty jar, glue cheap ornament on inside of lid, fill jar with mix of water, glycerine (supermarket) and glitter and screw on lid. Make reindeer mix to show rudolf et al, where to stop on Christmas night, mix porridge oats and glitter and put in a bag, ready to tempt and light the way when scattered along the pathway to your house.... Go to cafe ceramique and make a special plate and mug for santa's milk and cookies..... buy a plain paper tablecloth and decorate for Christmas dinner... edited by Teabag on 19/11/2011

Gill, me too! I don't Facebook or twitter or anything else. I hate the intrusion and getting emails telling me what people I hardly know had for lunch. I do occasionally go there to check up on my teens though.

Thanks ladies! I think the IKEA one is for a child - my teen is bigger than me! The garden one might work although the wicker could be a problem, since he has a habit of taking things apart to see how they are made...! Might call outlet mall and see what their price is... None on dubizzle but I am keeping my eye on it. Thanks again for the suggestions.

In fact, if there is nothing to change you can get the form from the library distribution shop on SZR and fill it in yourself two copies, signed by you and owner. Agents just charge for their time writing out the new contract and getting everyone to sign. You do not pay another finder fee.

No. You pay contract fee for administrating the new contract usually about dhs 500. It is just a new sheet.

DH got his question wrong on the online access. Apparently, after 50 years he can 't spell his name - the four letter bank knows better. Four months and hours speaking to and visiting offices, he still couldn't get online. Never mind, The guy in the bank tells him with a shrug after not being able to sort it out, your wife can access her online name and make any transactions you need. (!) All well and good, but 2 years later we haven't seen a credit card statement and they won't let me see because I am not HIM and the primary account holder, and all that lovely service with a 'PREMIER' account.

Dumb question and not helpful but have you changed the battery recently? This happened to us over the summer, when we were away and I had emptied the safe before we left.... Took me weeks to find the key and we are still arguing over whose responsibility is is to change the safe battery...

Second of mine had this. I ended up nursing for two years!! He is 16 now and grew out of it by 2yrs. I found oilatum in the bath water helped, as well as the cream on the really sore spots. He spent lots and lots of time lying on a towel washed in woolite when he was very small and even more time completely bare as he got bigger. I am sure the neighbours thought we were raising nudists! There are some benefits to our weather here. Lakeland plastics do some washing balls, like spiky rubber balls, which means you can drastically Reduce the amount of washing powder you use. That may help too. You could also trying putting all the washing through an additional rinse cycle before drying. edited by Teabag on 28/10/2011

Ordered a pair of fit flop boots for mum for Christmas through shop and ship from amazon. They just arrived and cost me 137dhs in shipping but were on sale and reduced by $50 online. Bought uggs last year in Karama and they lasted well for a trip to uk, at 200dhs (ankle boots with button) Hope this helps.

My mum is in a panic over this. My parents come every Christmas for around a month. Because the airlines charge so much extra between certain dates, they are booked this year for 35 days. I cannot get anyone to give me a straight answer about what to do. Why did they change the rules and when did the 30 day thing come in anyway? They were just over 30 days last year too.

Do you have a copy with the number on? If so, go to union coop with the number and they will replace it very fast. Otherwise you need passport copy. Don't panic. Seriously

I agree that half the problem with rls is that it sounds so fake, like hypochondria. However, they were advertising medication on the tv in the US this Summer.

My mum has this. She does not medicate but as far as I know also uses tonic water and magnesium supplements. I remember that when we were in the States in the summer, this was one of the conditions for which they were advertising medication, so it can be done. If you are really uncomfortable, see your doctor, there will be something he can suggest to help. Despite the weird name and description it is a genuine condition and your doc will be able to reduce the symptoms.

Looking for recommendations for reliable online shopping sites for Christmas gifts. Have teenage boys and always try and find wacky gifts for stockings. Whilst I do most of the shopping here, I do find that all the stores seem to stock the same limited gadgets and it is difficult not to buy each of my boys the same things because there is so little choice! Last year I got them each a couple of things from firebox - a uk gift site and they were great with regards to delivery etc. My kids are 10 - 19.
