I have seen many people suffer after buying new cars here and taking lengthy car loans out. If you decide to buy try to get something within your budget. Please also be aware that God forbid you lose your job the banks can change their tune on you if you become between jobs, it can become quite a palava. I saw quite a few people in this situation where they had to hand vehicles back to the banks, who would then auction of the cars at much lower prices and they would have to continue to pay the difference after the car was sold. I agree with the other ladies to rent for a while to take you time and see what you like, you will find with Ramadan coming soon there are often special deals and discounts - Al Habtoor Motors is usually good with those deals (Mitsubishi) If you choose to buy second hand, there are second hand car agencies, used car auctions as well as Dubizzle. A word of advice if you choose this route: Do not purchase any car without having an independent mechanic inspecting it first and you must find out the vehicles history. Best of luck

You can connect Paypal to a local credit card, that's how a lot of freelancers here do it to receive the funds and then you can use it to withdraw from an ATM

Greetings! I learned a few tricks from a local friend which worked wonders for me, 1. Washing my face with Fenugreek water everyday (soak one tablespoon of washed seeds overnight and removed the seeds and keep the water on for about 15 minutes) 2. Neem Oil - Its heavy and it stinks but boy does it help the skin heal from breakouts (I keep it on for about 15 minutes) 3. Using rosewater after every wash and throughout the day using a cotton wool pad, I started putting the rosewater in an ice cube tray and use one block of ice directly on the skin - it makes you glow and skin becomes so smooth. 4. Organic oatmeal, mix with hot water into a paste and massage, leave it on 15 mins, this helps when the skin is tight, dehydrated. These simple tricks really changed my routine, I was buying all the expensive products and found that doing these regularly made an enormous difference. Good luck!

Hi there, There was a great doctor at the American Hospital called Dr. Salti, if he is there, you should consult with him , a lot of VIPs go to him and I know quite a few people that highly recommended him, if he is still there of course. Good luck

I would go for several consultations before taking action, so that you are fully aware of the procedure and also see whom of the consultants you are comfortable with. I knew a lot of people in the industry and people that sought such treatments with happy results in the following places. I recommend you explore the following: Silkor: www.silkor.com/locations/UAE Iwona Spa: www.iwonaspecialtyclinic.com Clinica Joelle: www.clinicajoelle.com Biolite:www.biolitedubai.com Good luck!

Hi Kimmy, I used to go for Massimo Dutti when I was working the corporate world. I found the quality excellent and maintained over years. There is a branch in Dubai Outlet Mall which is their discount store branch www.dubaioutletmall.com I also used to buy designer shoes from this mall that had a huge discount. I think it is really worth checking out. Alternatively if you really need some help, there is always the best image consultant in Dubai who does also personal shopping, I don't know about her rates now as she has become rather famous, but she is honest and reliable. www.ranasaab.com She has some advice on how to make more than 20+ outfits from just a handful of items by mix and matching accessories. Thirdly, you can have some suits tailored, I have been recommended www.collarsandcuffs.ae/women-tailor-dubai and you can check these out: http://whatson.ae/dubai/2014/07/womens-tailors-in-dubai-handy-guide/ Good luck!

Hi Jane, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Speaking from 16 years of personal experience in the UAE, these are my suggestions: 1. If you truly wish to pursue this, before you do anything else, write a statement about the incident and have it translated into Arabic. (I only trust one translator who is super accurate and professional. I don't have his details now but anyone requiring legal document translation should go to this guy! Al Durrah Tower Sheikh Zayed Road, go inside the shopping mall entrance and take escalator to first floor, I believe his name is George. He will put a legal stamp on it and any other documents you will provide to back your case up) Once you have your story on paper, any Arabic speaker will understand your full story and there will be less confusion and it will be easier for you to communicate with the police, economic departments, lawyers etc.... 2. Go to the Economic department to report him (you need all his co. details ) 3. If you choose to open a civil case you are going to require a good lawyer. Please manage your expectations - this is not going to happen fast and might be a bit of a roller coaster ride. This is the first time I post on this forum and I am not sure of all the rules, wish I could give you further advice. I wish you all the best
